I can see why we're best friends, this guy has great taste (in ice cream brands, at least).
Also, this was such a fun lil concept (which had no buisness being this funny). I almost laughed myself when you burst into laughter. It sounded super genuine. Also, I know I keep saying this, but I love how well the lines flowed (and I enjoyed the character choices when it came to expressing some of his more cynical personality.
All in all, you did a great job as always! I'm excited for whatever may come next!

Oh shit, got too into the audio. Literally started cry when he realised it was *us*, a bit offended when he said I had a bad jokes and then everything else just hit my RSD button.
"All of that time, all of that effort and it's YOU! That's like paying for a porsche, Get the keys for the porsche and it unlocks a Volkswagen beetle with a bad sense of humour."
Truly devastating. That line seemed so much longer and painful the first time I heard it. I probably wouldn't be about to continue the date after that, even when it gets cleared up. I'd have to go cry a bit and then be too embarrassed to stay.
I should clarify that I know it silly to burst out in tears over a fiction audio, but sometimes I cry for no reason and at least I have a reason this time. Also this was an amazing audio, nothing wrong with just with me.
I find it I little funny that I genuinely got pissed at being compared to a volkswagen beetle even though it not a bad car

Your audios are always so well done! It's not even just the acting (but I mean holy shit it's always so genuine and natural that you can't help getting sucked into the character and that fucking wheezy cough cackle made me wheeze-cough cackle in return so thanks for that), the script and the bg sfx are also so👏fucking👏fantastic👏!
That soundscape filled the background so nicely without being intrusive. Loved getting the opportunity to just sink into it at the end. Soooo satisfying.
But also the script! You write and act out dialogue so naturally. The character's so awkward and cynical and weird and we love that. And the situation's fucking hilarious.
The conversation seemed to flow so easily. Y'know how as a listener, you sorta try to respond to what the speaker's saying? I'm not always good at predicting the right things to say, but a lot of my internal responses to this audio fit the conversation so well. And that's saying something because my conversational skills hella suck. I'm seeing it as a testament to your writing skills. Even an awkward and lackluster conversationalist like me has an easier time responding to the dialogue you came up with. Sure, it's a more normal and slice-of-life type of audio, so it should be easier to predict, but those are the ones I have trouble with because I have trouble talking to people irl but I digress.
All this is to say that you are a fantastic creator! There's so much work and effort put into these videos, it's hard not to notice. You're my favorite Scottish stone audiogician. Thanks for your hard work and for giving me a real good laugh! 😁💙

@@PebblesASMR Of course of course! I actually found you maybe two weeks ago(?) and I became an instant fan. I'll be frank, it was mainly the accent at first (not a lot of Scottish ASMRtists out here, so good on ya for grabbing a hold of that monopoly), but then you really hooked me with your consistently fantastic character acting and soundscapes.
I hadn't even realized that I never really commented on your audios before now, so I really couldn't help word-vomiting about two weeks worth of compliments (there's always more in the tank, though. like a big ol' bag of holding). Sure, it was mainly directed toward this audio specifically, but a lot of the praise applies quite nicely to your other audios; namely, the writing, acting, and production design. Before I go on another rant, I'll stop myself here haha. Just know that any future word piles are your own fault. You can't just consistently pop out bangers and not expected to be praised for it. 😝💙
