Falling off our roof January 2nd 2023 taking down Xmas lights!!

My husband begged me to pay a company $250 to set up and take down our Christmas lights and I wanted to save the money so I did it myself. On January 2, 2023 I was taking down the Christmas lights I’d put up on the roof of our house and stepped left forgetting that our roof pitch drops by 4 inches and lost my balance and fell off the roof onto our concrete walkway which is why I’m now team “Pay the professional” Broke my left leg and fractured my ankle joint and now have 3 plates and 20 screws permanently in my leg. Could have been a million times worse so I’m grateful it’s only my left leg 🤦‍♀️❤️‍🩹
