Eugene Bareman is the 2019 MMA coach of the year awarded by a numerous media out lets including ESPN, MMA Junkie and MMA Fighting.
Bareman entered the year with no UFC champions under his wing and ended it with two.
The City Kickboxing head MMA coach had his hand in multiple monster UFC championship fights and was responsible for some of the most impressive performances seen in 2019.
Working out of Auckland, New Zealand, Bareman helped Israel Adesanya and Alexander Volkanovski become UFC champions. He also groomed promising talents into contenders in Dan Hooker, Brad Riddell, Kai Kara-France and Shane Young.
Bareman and City Kickboxing went 11-1 this year in the UFC with two world titles and three world title fights.

Kiwi accent is the best. I love this channel and mma, and I show my mum some of the clips of the cool stuff you guys do out there. I showed her the spyda video and she was super impressed. Yo there needs to be a distinction that these are not real results and instead Ariels, or whoever’s, opinion. This is not a legitimate award from the MMA community, Ariel doesn’t speak solely for the MMA community, and that needs to be made clear. Y’all can’t just be out here giving out your own awards posing as a legitimate voting body.
