I have stayed at the balmoral 3 times and the afternoon tea is delicious!!! 🫖🍰☕️👍
Glad to hear you enjoyed it too. We have never stayed over but would love to. Such a beautiful hotel.💙🏴
It's an absolutely fantastic video of an iconic hotel!! This hotel and The Green Park Hotel in Pitlochry are the finest hospitality hotels in Scotland.
Thank you. Glad you enjoyed watching. We stayed at The Green Park in Pitlochry many years ago to celebrate a family birthday. It was a lovely memory and a beautiful location.💙🏴
I’ll be there next month! Thank your for sharing this !
Your welcome.🤗 Have a lovely time. Let us know how your experience is? Are you staying over or just afternoon tea?💙🏴
Looks delicious, lovely treat, can’t wait to visit, thank you for a great video.
Thank you, glad you enjoyed the video. Enjoy your visit.🙂💙🏴
It is a wonderful place, and I do in fact love it but no place needs to be as expensive as it is. There's highbrow, and then there's out of touch, and I realize that some will disagree, but when we allow others to consider themselves better or more deserving than ourselves, they tend to bend us to fit their narrative. The tea is good, but not any better than at another shop down the road for a reasonable price. Go, look, admire, but save your money, and be entertained on a much more authentic and realistic scale.

Before Covid my senior parents went to Scotland from Canada to sightsee. They stopped in at the Balmoral for tea. They didn’t realize there was a dress code and they were wearing jeans and runners. They asked the desk if there was availability. Instead of informing them there was a dress code they were seated. A waiter then showed up and asked them very loudly 4 times if they had enough money to eat there. My parents were always very tidy and dressed nicely so couldn’t figure out why they were being insulted. The manager did come over and apologize and offered them a free tea because of the scene this waiter made. They didn’t take it as they were so insulted and embarrassed. I can very well afford to stay or eat the Balmoral and refuse to do either. Be prepared if you go.
I bet that waiter couldn’t afford to eat there.
Snobs at the door not trained to answer politely on questions from tourists ! Everything but NO Scottish hospitality !
