I loved this video the first time I saw it. Then I watched MNDR's other videos and realised that Raven is emulating Amanda Warner's look. It made me love this video even more. I really like how they showed David transforming into Raven and the parts where he is dancing whilst lip syncing. It made the song even more meaningful to me.

Raven was one of the most gorgeous queens in Drag Race history and completely deserved the win. She is an inspiration for other drag artists and biological women who need confidence boosts. Raven inspires me to be both fabulous AND in control of myself, powerful and strong. You go Raven!
If you haven't experienced drag queen culture, you will not have a sense for the depth of the video. The video is plenty deep; it matches the emotion in the lyrics perfectly.

All you hear is, feed me Diamonds.. and well.. that sounds VERY strange!!!!! But now that I know what the story is about, it makes a bit more sense. But it's still a weird metaphor.. especially if you don't know whats going on. I thought it was about some crazy girl who wants to eat diamonds because she's rich.. but it has nothing to do with that at all.. lol.
"Feed me diamonds" Is pretty much being used as a metaphor. He's a drag queen, so he needs diamonds to make him look fabulous.... diamonds would be shiny dresses and other accessories.
