Man i don't know why im just noticing how great DJ s physique is. He was such an underrated BB in the mid nineties because of the stacked line ups such as Dorian Flex, Cormier and Levrone. If you ask me he's right there in the mix with those guys if not better. Why do you think so many BB now days want him to train them. He clearly knows how to put together a winning package and just watch what he does if he gets his hands on Big Ramy. He already proved it with choopan and askanani. Sorry for the misspelled names but everyone who is a fan of BB should know who im talking about. Those two guys are a serious threat in the 212 division and has the Welsh dragon flex lewis a good it nervous i would say. If Lewis is just a tad off the title will easily go to one of those two because they are known for there awesome conditioning and we know conditioning wins shows so lets see what 2018 brings

Just such ashame that Dennis "The Freakshow" James never won the Mr. Olympia Title. The guy just had amazing size and a very pleasant demeanor. I met him once when I lived over in England and visited Germany with my cousin to attend FIBO and met him there and he was very pleasant to speak with. I remember him just be amazingly huge and dressed just like in the video wearing his worn in OTOMIX Ultimate Boots....Totally Hardcore and Cool!💪💪💪

Mr. Olympia is all about who you know flex wheeler should won couple times Sean Ray should have won couple times Kevin levrone definitely should have won it but that's just my opinion end view.

Maybe :) Still, out of those three, DJ is the only one you could substitute if you HAD to have an athlete of another nationality on this selection (thought he has a US passport?)...show me just one more aesthetic, better looking than Schlierkamp - who was or is? And show me a bigger, a harder beast than Markus Ruhl in his prime. I don´t know, but I think there hasn´t been one....nonetheless, I´m still open for suggestions.

I agree with you on Schlierkamp and Ruhl which both were robbed of a Mr. Olympia title. Schlierkamp in 2002, Ruhl I believe in 2004. DJ not so sure, he was good anywhere but never impressed my quite as Gunter and Markus when they had their peak form.
@@hischransen8069ruhl never deserved a top spot let alone win the O. He was big but he was a hit or miss with conditioning. Also, from the back? He was non-existent, basically. Same with Gunter. Big AF but from the back? Disappeared. The same reason Levrone didn't win. The same reason Cornier(mind you, Cornier was pretty much more complete overall than Levrone, Ruhl and Gunter by a mile). Ruhl is pretty overrated. His only good showing was the 2002 night of champions. He was crazy there. After that? Size but never enough conditioning. Never enough separation and he just wasn't as complete. Ronnie was pretty much the most complete. Crazy back, crazy side chest, crazy most muscular with insane conditioning, insane separation and details. That's why he won it 8 times.
@@guitarplayer8918 phil is like a 90s bodybuilder but he spawned in late and can win because he doesn't have dorian yates and ronnie Coleman in his ways. He's more of a massthetics guy but sadly he got bubble gut.

I think Dennis James is the best looking bodybuilder in the gym in the history of the sport, unfortunately when he gets on stage with his competitors he don't look as good.
From what I can recall, Dennis always looked great leading up to a show but for some reasons his physique seem to fade come contest time. He was always one of those “what if’s” I think had he competed in this generation of bodybuilders there’s a strong possibility he could be a champion.
Is it just the cameras they used back then because no one that makes videos today even looks close to that size. And that includes Nick Walker, Derek, Hadi and Ramy. His arms make Nick's look small.
