I mean native Chinese in HK can't get any seats in politics, can't hold any seats in the government, have no rights to vote (this is given to you by China after the return in 1997) and of course you are considered second class citizens in your own homeland. Everything that Brits does in the streets of HK they will always be in the right while native Chinese in HK will get the blame. They can arrest you anytime and you can't even complaint about inequality those British judges sitting in HK courts. 😂 FYI HK got multiple times richer when it was returned to China.

He loved us all but he died in China and his family took everything except my uncle and aunts home in los angeles.. my aunt never remarried and kept all the Chinese traditions until she passed away even though she was catholic. I was Blackie to him and he was my uncle almendra spanish for almonds bc Almond cookies were my favorite treat and he wanted to be my favorite uncle.
If he dies it's logical that his family should have everything, it would be illogical for people outside of his direct family to have his stuff unless he wrote a will specially say he want to give his property to someone else.
there is a remake of this movie which is a copy of this movie of course but in that story mr. tat's character dies on duty and Mr Leung's character takes custody of his children, the female protagonist is part of secret police spying on the crime syndicate with Mr Tat which Mr Leung's character is unaware but in the climax, it is revealed that Mr Tat's character didn't die on duty but was murdered by the Mr. Lee's Character which is working for same crime syndicate...I like the remake but this one is better...love Uncle Tat

All this time I been watching old HK films as a kid, this is first time I realize all of the higher up officers are actually British officers as Britain didn't give any power positions to native Chinese in HK. Hence their words are worth 100x the words of native Chinese in HK. How could kids nowadays not see such blatant discrimination against the Chinese that on their own land by the UK imperialist regime?
Asskissing the Brits or worshipping those westerns won't give you any equality or better treatment as they have treated the Chinese in HK as second class citizens before it's return to China in 1997. Twisting the history doesn't change the actual facts and I hope this HK kids wake up from their brainwashing by western media.

This is an odd movie with strange storyline. Actual cops from Crime Investigation Department don't really flash our badge unecessarily. Even if i'm driving an unmarked car, i can still get a parking ticket. The record will go to my division. If proven that i'm on a case, i won't need to pay any fine. If suspect is believed to be with firearms, STAR-Team will be deployed. They are the equivalent of SDU. Many cases are nabbed without even pulling out a gun. Police protocols are very strict in Singapore.
Tony Leung trying to hard to be like Stephen Chow with so many unnecessary hissy fits, over the top anger, and self-centredness. If not Stephen Chow, Dicky Cheung could've done a much better job and more convincing than Tony.

其實當初吳倩蓮到香港拍戲 很多台灣人對她是不是會成功是有疑慮的 如果可以重來 留在台灣發展 應該會大不同
少女的角色是有期限的 成熟後真的就要靠實力 還要一些運氣 畢竟台灣人要在異鄉大放異彩 是很難的
總之 祝她幸福

其实港片的落幕是因盗版和新世纪网络形成，现时代只要新电影一出不到两星期在网上就能搜索到…没了电影票房谁会去投资…港片正所谓好看是因为这些演员都是靠演技…而现在大陆电影公司不论你会不会演只要你有点颜值和名气就行…大陆电影商给的酬薪也多无论有没好剧本也拍到乱…香港没了市场也无法在训练出新一代演员…
还是80-90末的片经典…80-90年代是全世界出星最多的年代…在运动界里也是如蓝球有乔丹，足球有马拉多纳，搏击有泰森，歌坛中更多得是感觉80-90年代里是最棒的…但这是一定的全部只能成过去的历史和回忆……像现在就连什马来西亚的什黄明志和新加坡的王雷没演技的阿猪阿狗也能拍片…但年轻的一代也看到乱…也不懂他们到底懂不懂什叫电影…
记得以前小时成龙的片一上映，不论是马来人,印度人也会跑去戏院看…但这些明星偶像现真的老了…而在此也感谢电影中以前那些有台前幕后的工作人员带给我们一个美好的童年～
