Dragonbone necklace/bonecrusher, ring of gods (I) work well here? seems like a wonderful way to extend the trips and stay for long periods of time. I don’t think DPS would be terribly impacted.

All depends, if you're camping a higher tier damage prayer like rigour, or piety then totally worth it.
Losing the salve amulet for a bone crusher is a massive loss to dps especially if you're sub 90. Since it's both accuracy and damage.
Post 90 with rigour or piety it is totally worth considering. Especially with prayer regen pots now available.
