    I met so many nice Russians in Cuba two weeks ago from belgorad. They were lovely couples , forced me to learn swimming in the pool . I already miss them . As Canadian , I love Russians. We are not your enemy 😊😊

    I know this is a beginner vid but I keep seeing "благодарю вас" pop up and don't really understand it's usage, is it just more formal or polite? Like when we fully articulate "thankyou" in English as opposed to "thanks"?

    there's the contraction also in Spasibalshoi, used a lot in every day talking. I went to Russia this summer ;)

    Daria, do you know what the current situation is like, if you want to travel to/in Russia? I always wanted to eventually go there, to expose myself to the Russian language and to learn a lot that way. I'm quite good in understanding it, but wanted to practice my speech there.

      haha I don't know, I need more context:) Usually, развести means to trick. So it could be 'you tricked the wolf'

    i had a russian friend on snapchat and i used to talk to her everyday and she used to teach me a lot of russian. Unfortunately i lost my snap account and with that i lost contact with her 😢

    Why not "очень" или "многа"?

      this is one of the most common mistakes by the way! don't say очень спасибо or много спасибо. it would sound as strange as "very thank you" or "a lot of thank yous"
