Thanks for this video! I would love a second part covering the plurals. And please keep it simple as with this one. For us beginners it's a lot better to get those few main options that cover 99% of the sentences we'll read and then, ONCE we know them and feel at ease with begginer's materials, learn the 2.000.000 exceptions that cover
I have watched a lot of videos on RUclips and read articles as well but no one was able to make me understand russian cases. YOU were the only person who made me understand the cases. I thank you very very much, YOU are definitely the BEST ONE 😢🎉❤ i'm very happy. Greetings from 🇧🇷🇧🇷💕💕 i wish you all the best my dear because you deserve it ☺️🙏🥹
Thank you for this video. It's the easiest and clearest explanations about the cases I've watch up to now. I took some notes on a sheet of paper to remember these informations when I will read again my ASSIMIL russian method book.
Best clean straightforward explanation of cases I have seen. Alot of other videos I've seen talk around the point with verbose explanations. You were very clear and concise about that difficult topic and after just 1 view ( I need to re watch to absorb info), I feel like it is within reach. Thank you!
Very clear, simple and informative. I’ve subscribe to your channel and I look forward to hearing more of the same (that is to say, clear, simple and concise). I will re-watch and take notes to absorb. BTW…not meant as a negative criticism, it is ACCUSATIVE and GENITIVE.
Great as an overview, but a lot is really left out of the basic explanation - subject/object, plurals, exceptions, animals are also animate and others. Hope there are more detailed lessons to come. (Also. Check spelling on accusative and genitive.)
Really! I would never thought about that. Thank you for the comment. I struggled so much with German cases when tried to learn them. It is such a nightmare!:))
Thanks for the video and there is something I couldn’t understand well. Я занимаюсь спортОМ. Я вижу камерУ. They are both “I do something”. What’s the difference between them? (I know it’s a stupid question)
No it’s not stupid Don’t worry It’s just after занимаюсь you need to use instrumental always. Consider it to be a rule. After this particular word it is always ОМ ending or Ой (занимаюсь йогой)
@@blinschool7993 Helloo :) Actually i am very very beginner but i think i need all these cases soon. For now, i just wish you luck but later i will be in your channel not only for cases but every informations you'll give us. Большое спасибо :)
@@blinschool7993 I am from Turkey, and as you may know, people from the former Turkic Soviet countries typically know Russian. Additionally, I am a PhD student in history and am particularly interested in USSR history. I believe my russian proficiency level is between A1 and A2, and I am currently studying the prepositional case.
I'm learning Russian language and I have started to understand these toughest part of Russian, but still I can't get the sense that what was the need of the cases just to make the language a trouble... If there are already prepositions being used then why to tilt your mouth and tongue for the different endings for each word and then the genders......!!! Охх мой бог, простите меня пожалуйста....!!! Я никогда не сделал ничего так плохой.. изучать русский так пытка металлом....!!!! اللہ اکبر۔۔۔
Hahaha such a funny comment I know it’s not easy for you guys That’s why everyone who managed to learn and speak Russian is a real hero to me! Keep it up.
A lot has been skipped over and/or overly simplified in this video. You never mentioned the case endings for plurals or adjectives. And barely touched on the masculine accusative singular animate. Its more than peoples names that change in this case, its all living things. Anyone watching this that is learning russian, don't get too happy. Russian cases are much more complicated than depicted here.
@cw4608 Why would I do this disservice to russian learners? I am not a native russian speaker, nor am I an expert in the russian language. I know enough to know that I dont know it all. But I also know enough to know that this video omits or glosses over important information. If you want in depth but easy to digest grammar instruction, check out the channel Amazing russian.
did you even watch the video? she mentioned that they are more complicated during the video, and that this video isn't meant to be comprehensive. she says she spends months tutoring people on EACH case. if you have a short attention span, and basic language goes over your head, cases might be a little too advanced for you.

Actually, as someone who learned German and Dutch very constructively Dativ and Genitiv are more intiuitional than let's say instrumental

Вау,это было очень полезным урок, у меня вопрос, пожалуйста, можно сказать:у меня нет наличка? Спасибо большое

У меня нет + Genetive
Т.е. правильно будет сказать ‘У меня нет налички’

for me as a native russian speaker logic of russian seems kinda obvious. but watching videos for learners i begin to realise that it’s really hard af
as a german native speaker (german knows four cases) it's easier than i always used to think!🥰
@@ameliebesch1723 but there re more cases than german 😁
That is a big revelation to me.
"akkusative", "genetive" ??
Did I spell them wrong or something?:)
Accusative*
Genitive*
