Arapahoe Basin Ski Area Colorado 12/17/2023

It's a gorgeous bluebird day at Arapahoe Basin Ski Area in Colorado. The mountain is open top to bottom and there's plenty of room for everyone. The surface is hard, but well groomed, with full coverage. The terrain may be limited but the beauty of the day is without limit. It takes a while for the winter sun to pop over the ridge, but once it does, the snow surface is a bright, bright white. The Steilhang (steep slope) Hut is a perfect on-mountain rest area and the deck has expansive views of the ski area and the Continental Divide. It's a good day to have sharp edges.

Beautiful, i love seeing these great quality videos these days.. Im lucky to say I was skiing the east wall when i was 13 in the 90's and i'm glad I didn't chicken out! Bringing back so many memories. Thanks for posting

The Lenawee drop-in looks like it changed a lot. I guess it got a facelift when they upgraded chairs. Looks a lot easier now.

Love this video, thanks! Heading to A-Basin first week of January...from Chicago...freaking out a bit that there won't be much terrain open. What is the "inside scoop" about future openings, did you hear anything while you were there!? Even with limited terrain, still beats our Midwest skiing...haha!

You'll get bored quickly unless they get a ton of snow. If you have an Ikon pass, go to Copper as well.
