I loved my childhood in the 80's!!! I was 11 years old at the time this movie came out!! I still remember going with my friends to see this movie in theaters...
Yup. A typical younger brother thing to do. What little did us real life younger brothers know when we found ourselves in that situation, was that we were just a few short years away from being stuck looking at some girl like a deer caught in the headlights. LOL
Unfortunately, kids today don't know any better. Unlike the teen vampire movies/shows of today's generation, The Lost Boys movie took place back in the awesome 80's, back when vampires sucked blood, NOT cock.
I think he meant all the people saying "Twilight sucks! This is so much better than Twilight! Back in my day, vampires didn't sparkle, you little whippersnappers!"
I have the soundtrack to this movie still kick ass and I love it! Vampires are so great and The Lost Boys was one of my favorite vampire movies! RIP Corey Haim!
Wow, Jami Gertz is just divine in this movie. Damn! And everything about that concert looks awesome. I wish that concerts were still cool like they were in the eighties.
What ever happened to fun times like this? I remember growing up in the 90's humans were more social with one another and helped each other out. Everyone I knew back then was in shape because we had skating, karate class, and basketball. Sure, we still have that now but it was more of a cultural thing especially skating every Friday and Saturday. I remember going up to a girl and asking her to skate during couples only songs and after that you would get a slice of pizza and coke and talk with her - after that she would, if she liked you, would pull out a pen and write her name and number on your hand and you would do the same. I remember being up all night waiting by the telephone in the kitchen waiting for her call lol. Now everyone is caught up with their cell phones in public like a freaking robot. I feel bad for the kids of today because they didn't know what it was like to have to actually sit down and talk with people face to face to make friends. I miss the 90's!
I love this scene and I love this song. Something so fun about this scene, and the guy performing the song while super buff, and playing the sax with all that charisma and confidence with style, and the fires in the background on the boardwalk at night, and the crowd enjoying the shit out of it, while Michael falls in love when he first sees Star dancing and getting into this groovy song.
***** The singer here is Tim Cappello. The original is by The Call but this one featured in the movie is Tim Cappello. Best scene in one of my favorite movies ever
To this day, you can find me at a random stop light in Phoenix, AZ blasting this song in my car while I’m heading somewhere. I love this soundtrack through and through. I still believe is easily my favorite next to Beauty has her way, Cry Little Sister and Power Play. As always, I miss the 80s.
I was 11 when this movie came out. I remember it clearly. I've only seen it around a trillion times and I still feel sad at the end. Not because the 80's are gone but because Michael had eternity and threw it away.
Whenever I see this movie, I instantly want to be a vampire and live there. It looks just so cool and fun, and plus guys covered in baby oil owning the sax
Santa Cruz was awesome in those days. Still a nice place, but not nearly as carefree as it was in those days. With what it costs to live there now, thanks to all the Silicon Valley transplants that took over the area, you may as well just live in Monterey if you want to be in that part of the state. Much cleaner and safer. And far enough away from the SF Bay Area not to be overrun by it.
I love how the girl in pink to Star's right at 01:11 literally looks like a local resident who accidentally wandered onto the movie set and is looking around like "What's going on?"
Argh, it seems like only yesterday this movie came out. I was obsessed with this movie when it came out; Huge Corey Haim fan back then and a crush on Jason Patric, and the dude who played Dwayne. This movie and the soundtrack is still totally awesome. I'm enjoying the present, look forward to the future...but...the 80s-90s....sweetness. Being a kid and a teen during those years, great...just great.
Ok, so in a battle of “this looks weird but I freaking love it,” who wins…the shirtless guy at 1:10 with the terrible dance move, or the head bangers at 1:18? I love all of it.
"Michael stop looking at that gorgeous young woman and focus on the greased up saxophone guy on stage."

I loved my childhood in the 80's!!! I was 11 years old at the time this movie came out!! I still remember going with my friends to see this movie in theaters...
I like how Sammy looks at Michael and starts laughing
Yup. A typical younger brother thing to do. What little did us real life younger brothers know when we found ourselves in that situation, was that we were just a few short years away from being stuck looking at some girl like a deer caught in the headlights. LOL
Stop mentioning twilight in every vampire videos.....
Back in my day, vampires didn't sparkle, you little whippersnappers!"
lololololololololol
We can talk about Karin manga
Star's sensuality is so deeply hypnotic it's just, mmmmmmmmmm
1:18 Love the two guys shaking their wonderful blond long hair.
1:09 is the greatest shot of all time. That man is a legend.
He looks like a shirtless Gary Busey
1:17-1:19.. Two Guys Banging Heads
I have the soundtrack to this movie still kick ass and I love it! Vampires are so great and The Lost Boys was one of my favorite vampire movies! RIP Corey Haim!
You know after 30+ years Jason Patric still looks good! Out of all the cast members he was the best looking one.
What a naturally beautiful lady, beautifully done acting without words, and an electric atmosphere of animalistic emotion.
Even after all these years i still believe
Ladies and Gentlemen the talented Tim Cappello!! He is Tina Turners' sax player.
No mobile phones in sight. Great times.
I still believe this is one of the greatest vampire films of all time
FACTS!!!!
Best vampire movie ever made with the best cast
I love this scene and I love this song. Something so fun about this scene, and the guy performing the song while super buff, and playing the sax with all that charisma and confidence with style, and the fires in the background on the boardwalk at night, and the crowd enjoying the shit out of it, while Michael falls in love when he first sees Star dancing and getting into this groovy song.
I could watch this movie every day. It's a classic. They don't make them like they used to.
I believe Tim Cappello still performs this song to this very day.
Yes, but does he perform it shirtless and oiled up?
@@cautiouslyhopeful Don't we all wish for that.
***** The singer here is Tim Cappello. The original is by The Call but this one featured in the movie is Tim Cappello.
Best scene in one of my favorite movies ever
Absolutely, and recently he had performed this song in many clubs and shows. Check out his FB page or Twitter, "Tim Cappello".
The 1980's music is still my favorite to listen to.
Don’t forget lost in the shadows.
One of my favorite lines by Cory “ oh man forget her “ lol that’s exactly what Michael should have done .
not at mikes age lol homones were kicking on
Rest in peace, Joel Schumacher 👏👏
Loved this ,my dude had no shame.he looked at her like it was his job. 😍
Jamie Gertz was so beautiful in this movie. She was kind of a precurser to Julia Roberts.... but, better looking.
How the way Michael was staring at star........dats how my crush stare at me when I walk in lunch at school😂
You are a blessing. Just know..Jesus loves you.
@@ahamham4532 thx u too
Hopefully he got the balls to speak to you.
This movie came out 37 years ago, and it is still one of the best movies.... classic...
Tim Capello is like the Shawn Michaels of the sax. The 80's Heartbreak Kid.
I was 11 when this movie came out. I remember it clearly. I've only seen it around a trillion times and I still feel sad at the end. Not because the 80's are gone but because Michael had eternity and threw it away.
I love this movie!! Born in 93, I'm 25 now, i wish i lived in the 80s👍👍👍
Man I miss the 80s
Whenever I see this movie, I instantly want to be a vampire and live there. It looks just so cool and fun, and plus guys covered in baby oil owning the sax
Santa Cruz was awesome in those days. Still a nice place, but not nearly as carefree as it was in those days. With what it costs to live there now, thanks to all the Silicon Valley transplants that took over the area, you may as well just live in Monterey if you want to be in that part of the state. Much cleaner and safer. And far enough away from the SF Bay Area not to be overrun by it.
Jami Gertz was glowing in this movie... So beautiful 😍
R.i.p Corey Heim Lost Boy til the end
i love this movie sooo much... i miss 80s horror movies :(
80's were so cool!!! I love this movie :)
I love how the girl in pink to Star's right at 01:11 literally looks like a local resident who accidentally wandered onto the movie set and is looking around like "What's going on?"
Lol I love it! 😂
Born in 2002 and am obsessed with the 80s.
Alexandria Ward same
You and me both.
Eyyyy bruddaaaa!
This movie is turning 30 this year...I still believe and you know you do! ❤
The soundtrack to this was so epic.
I've never felt so excited when I saw these beautiful movies, the 80s were the best of my life
Man I kinda wish I was a teen during these times. Looks like fun. No social media or cell phones
I was only 2 at the time but 30 years later.....I Still Believe
love how michael and sammy look at each other and laugh
Best moment in cinema history
indeed!
ummmmmm well I dunno but yeah it pretty much is.
And the 2 Dudes Banging Their Heads is Awesome too
I remember renting this on VHS in the late 80s. What a great movie and great time the 80s were.
I would love to go to a party like this everyone looks like they're having such a blast!🎉🎉🎉
I love this scene so much I decided to eat and train like a bodybuilder, go tanning and learn the sax just so I could dress up like Tim for Halloween.
Star dancing like she is on acid and then the head bangers lol 😂
Goddamn I miss the 80's...Thumb me up if you agree.
Michael staring at Star at 0:25 is so relatable!
Can you imagine actually being there AS this was happening? A once in a lifetime opportunity that can NEVER be duplicated!
This clip just makes you want to rock. The 1980’s the best decade for music TV and film. This classic is proof of that
No one Looking down on their Cell Phones lol
Not a cell phone in sight, just people living in the moment
Man, Star was my first crush.
Ok, so in a battle of “this looks weird but I freaking love it,” who wins…the shirtless guy at 1:10 with the terrible dance move, or the head bangers at 1:18? I love all of it.
