I've owned these for a year now. I've learned the best place they sound is my desk. Jesus it's amazing on my desk and it's a joy playing games, watching Netflix or just enjoying music. It's amazing
Thanks for the review, I have been reviewing these speaker's for the last few weeks I have a pair of Klipsch RP 600's so this should be interesting however plan on using the Klipsch RP 600's for home theater and the JBL'S for 2 channel music listening thanks for the review looking forward to the JBL'S.
♦️absolutely ~ ( what he said' ) ... Also bought the larger #580s The most impressive still remains the little "R2-D2" > #530 !! ... for just sheer accuracy, presence, & dynamics' ! • Thank you JBL'!
"For 600 $ they don't offer great value for money" on sale for 240$ they are a phenomenal value .....I can't think of a single speaker under 500$ That can beat the 530 in sound or construction." More or less it's what he said. Then he said later for 400$he can't think of better How bout you just say they are great speakers. Or bad speakers. If a 100$ makes or breaks you. You probably shouldn't be buying a set of speakers. And yes my first comment is what I took away. And I own these speakers I paid 320open box. I could care less that people got them on sale for 240 or paid full retail. If u like them they are worth it. Ps the speaker stands they are on cost twice as much as the speakers. I bet the speaker stands sound really great, better sounding than speaker stands that cost 125 or even home made ones. Joke

Nice video. I'll have to look into that binding post upgrade.
Thanks, Eric!
Height of those speaker stands?
Where can you get the brass nuts at?
Speaker stand brand and height? Thanks in advance.
Those are my speaker stands for my Bowers & Wilkins 805 Diamond (D2) speakers. I believe the part number is "FS-805".
Literally my same 2.1 setup except I only have a sb2000 pro. Nice vid. Thanks!
Thanks! Those little JBL 530s are impressive for the money and the SB2000 is a great sub. Enjoy it!
how do you listen at 85 db's and still have functioning ears?
Arena 130 vs Studio 530 ftw. Though people should try another 530 as center instead of the 520c
I have a floor standing jbl 270 and am thinking of replacing them with these 530s for left and right channels. How do they compare ? Thanks
I'm not familiar with the 270, but the 530s are by far the best bang for the buck for under $350. They are very impressive speakers for the money!
Great review and nice setup!
Thanks, Mark! I have a review of the KEF Q150 as well. I think a lot of people cross shop these two speakers. Both are great in their own ways.
Great review. My 590's make my 530's sound like little toys! 😝😉😇
I bet. The 530s are less sensitive and require a lot more power to reach their peak performance.

No problem! The JBL Studio 530's are very impressive for their size. Enjoy them!
How did they turn out for ya man?
@@joeslacker1020 I love them! For the money I don't think you will find a better set.
What are those beautiful towers behind them?
Sonus Faber Venere S. I did a review video on them a while back. They are phenomenal speakers! I love them!

When these speakers are on sale I don't think you can do better than the JBL Studio series. They offer tremendous value for money!
I had them, and they are really good, but right now I have the Focal.JMlab Chorus 706 and they are better, and they cost $450USD in 2001.
$450 USD in 2001 is equivalent to about $750 in today's dollars after inflation so I'm not surprised that the 706's would sound better.
450 usd for the pair?
you didn't test centers as you promised .
You have the wrong channel. I never even mentioned testing the center in this video.
So for 600$ these are a joke but you cant think of a nicer speaker under 500. Funny how people twist things
He never said that. You did. You might want to rewatch the video if that is your take away.

@@alphacapo Exactly! Where did he say these are a "joke" at $600? I took it as he likes them better at 500 and under.
