Out of the 120 channels I’ve seen in my lifetime of being exposed to RUclips (since 2008) this channel (in comparison to all categories not just science/engineering) is my absolute favorite
Even though I discovered your channel minutes ago I'm happy to see you're being active again after 4 years of inactivity. Your videos are absolutely amazing and it would be such a shame if you stopped making them
Thanks for commenting or reading the comments :) If you discovered a mistake please be polite about it, thank you. It being animation, some things have been simplified to get the message across. See the sources in the description for more detailed information (and enjoy going down the rabbit hole). Music: Launchable Socks Thanks to Thijs de Bont from DeBont Amplifiers for fact checking the video.
6:47 Buddy Volt is *Joule/Coulomb*.So in the Answer of this Should be 0.67V . But it's ok. Your Hardwork amd dedication to make our concept clear delights me. You are awesome and I appreciate your knowledge. Keep Going Buddy. My Best Wishes are with you.
You have a good point, I'm not sure why I didnt write that left to right but instead right to left. Because that way it does make sense. I agree it's confusingly done, I'll make sure to avoid that in the future. Thanks!
@@IntoTheOrdinary it would help if you edit that part only and reupload the revised version. Perhaps it will set the facts right for new learners. Great job done anyway. Keep it up
You are the best explainer in the world...I started a new job in HVAC and I must have watched so many of your videos...they are so well done and super simplified...very easy to understand.....you are a much valuable channel...wish I could support more..... Thank you so much!
I love your videos... I have been working with AC voltage at work... This work is new to me.. I have been hooking up 120 volt 1 horsepower electric motors... With some electrical timers. So I had to learn about voltage, amps, and resistance Your videos are very easy to understand 😜 Thank you very much.. I work in Fresno California Danny Coffey
i recently watched your previous videoes but when i realised they was uploaded 4 years ago i kinda get sad but when i knew you were making a new video i became very happy thanks for still making the video afyer 4 years
With all respect to your lectures (and I like them all), anode is positive and cathode is negative. I googled it. Except if there is something I don't understand. Thanks
I'm writing a paper and this video really helped me tbh, although the topic is slightly different, I appreciate you making these videos easy to understand!
i have watched may videos in youtbe about electricity voltage current etc, i couldnt understand any clearly. The way of presentation in this channel really helped to get exact idea about subjects. Thank you 😊
Thank you so much for your work. It s amazing that you make into existence, such good, informative & easy to understand important information about the world that we're living in. It's the first time that electricity makes sense for me :))) ❤🌟🔥 Grateful
I love these videos! Your clear explanations and the animations make them a powerful learning tool-hats off to you! If you are ever interested in translating your videos into Spanish, I’d be happy to volunteer and contribute to your wonderful educational effort!
This was incredibly helpfull. I've been trying to understand this for while now. Great illustrations with the water tower and syringe inside the battery. Thank you very much!
One major correction: Volts are equal to Joules per Coulomb (Joules / Coulombs) NOT Coulombs per Joule (Coulombs / Joules). That would be the inverse of voltage. As a high school physics teacher looking for good videos to show my kids, this was great UNTIL that part of the video which would really confuse them. I hope you're able to correct this!
At 7:23, I do not understand how electrons flow from the first battery negative terminal to its positive terminal? It seems like the electrons in the first battery negative terminal will just flow to the positive terminal of the second battery. Hence also how does batteries connected in series increase the voltage?
4:29 you showed that electrons are flowing from positive to negative but it should be from negative to positive, but its alright as my doubts were cleared because of your videos
Your videos are very attractive to learn. Nice presentation. Many many thanks for your series of tutorials. I wish you will make more such amazing and creative tutorials.
Great videos, one observation the definition of voltage is potential energy / charge (joule/coulomb). Probably you can check and make necessary correction to the video.
@4:32 youre showing the electron flow go from the positive to the negative. Having just explained that it's just the opposite... this is confusion for those trying to learn.
Does the battery stay at its voltage rating until it is completely drained out or does the voltage start to go below its voltage rating as it gets used up? Would the light bulb still light up if the wire that connects to the "+" side of the battery is connected to something like a door knob? If so, would the voltage behave the same as before?
Sept 13, 2022 This is Irene Imanil (real, King Philip, II) calling from Waikiki Public Library @ 0929 hour to inform that the above video is really informative. It has been a while I learned something about voltage from pre Algebra textbook I taught several years ago. That 9V came from me in GU, I sent to Safi Bahcall. I want to continue to teach mathematics but at the same time I want to work in the field as an electrical engineer for airplanes. You see if one switches off the light of air traffic control tower without backup--that's caveat---the plane wouldn't find its path for landing at night--thus, the airbase in one place somehow took control of the entire city or island's electricity and electrical gridline, and controls plane landing to that city or island. That's too bad for the indigenous population, born and raised from that city or island. That's too bad so one source that I thought of is water because the island is surrounded by water that can also do electrical work. But how? Hydroelectric?
Nice info video. thank you for making such a wonderful series. at 1:40 it is shown that postitive terminal is called Cathode. Isn't it the other way around ?

Great explanation, thanks for the video! Please keep it up the series.
I hope you continue making these, you don't know how much you're helping ❤
Hope they are back one day, this channel has the potential to explode
Welcome back! Please please please upload more tutorials and principles regarding electricity. This is a concept that I really want to understand.
so exited for the rest of the series! this is amazing man by far the easiest way to explain electricity to my kid

these are the best science videos ever. lets have your videos replace schools
Your content is outstanding, as far as I know youtube you will have a huge audience watching and appreciating you
Thanks for the indepth explanation, I love the fact that you used metaphors through out the video.
Woow!! this is amazing! you come back!! 😎😎👍👍 Now let's learn

guess who's back! I love your videos
There goes the entire chapter about Voltage done in 8 minutes. That's impressive 👍
In a normal school that chapter would be like 1 week ;-;
The king is back!
Please sir make more and more videos about physics laws and concepts its so precious. Love it sir. Keep it up❤❤❤❤
OMG you're back!!!! I'm so happy!!! Yay!!!!!!!!! 😊🎉🥳🎊🎈💃
Yay! Thank you!
I just love the way you explain things. Please keep going. My greetings to you.
Im so happy I am finally able to watch this video!
I love your videos... They are great for children but I think the flow of current is from positive to negative not the other way around
Nice to see you back

Please continue providing us these wonderful videos😢
I have an exam tomorrow, and I finally understand this lesson! thanks!!
Well explained, now l understand the difference between current and voltage
Wonderful illustrations thank you.
More voltage more amps flowing through the “current” or insulated wire
Okay... i find your channel, and am kinda sad to see that you didn't upload in 4 years... a week later you upload!

Yeah it should be .. J/C

From now on, please try to upload videos regularly! Explain Chemistry, Biology, Physics basics.
Amazing video! I can now explain electricity to my son.
nice video, I was wonder what is voltage and what exactly the difference between voltage and current. Thanks a lot.
