Love the fact that Notts kept their intensity for the full 90 minutes, hounding the Morecambe defence even when it was 5-0! Consecutive clean sheets too. Macca's third an absolute gem and a well deserved hat-trick for the Division's best striker!
I don't want to sound like Negative Nora, the bloke who sits behind me in the Family Stand, but there were half a dozen moments where we were getting either sloppy or complacent and which would have been leapt on by a better team. It was an awesome result, and the new signing is great news, but I'm still worried.
@@Hartley_Hare some folks are never happy. We dominated play for a large percentage of the game. The team were cohesive, and played better than they've played all season. I honestly don't get how people can moan.
@@TheWorldOfWalter I'm seriously not moaning - we played really, really well, but there were moments that a team like Stockport or Wrexham would have exploited.
It's immeasurably better than the Burchnall years, and better even than Neil Ardley's tenure, much as I liked the bloke. I just want to sound a note of caution. Things are going in the right direction, but we're a long way from being the finished item just yet.

1:22 what a goal!
Well played Notts, you're back!
Best performance of the season
Well played back to winning ways
Ciao.
Another clean sheet, at last, but still too many holes at the back which better opposition will exploit.
3 more points at tranmere, what good Christmas and new year
Best game this season.
