Although the champion has no stealth feature, it is a stronger unit than the stealth tank, has attack bonus on the plains and greater range and movement than the stealth tank.
I got Tomorrow Era units early while in the Contemporary Era, but the TE units in comparison to CE units are not that good overall besides only the drones and stealth tanks. What I like the most about the Contemporary Era is that all units are useful in their own way, but for the Tomorrow Era starting with the mechanized troops they seem useless except for against stealth tanks and artillery despite having poor range as well and overall worse than the anti aircraft vehicles and strike teams that may not necessarily be practical for auto battles when using them, the microwave blasters seem useful to an extent but not as good as missile artillery from CE, anti material snipers have usefulness against all TE units except for the stealth tank but with less movement than anti aircraft vehicles that could also be somewhat of a disadvantage as well, stealth tanks have some usefulness and especially against TE units but not nearly as good as hover tanks, and drones are actually the only superior units from Tomorrow Era that are better than attack helicopters and arguably better than even stealth tanks because with their high mobility stealth tanks could be very easily reached and on top of that having awesome range.
@@timbehnke9715 Great when the enemy is using them. First time I fought it I started laughing because it did piss all damage and because of 1-shot, it's removed from the battle lmao.
This Era is easy to fight against tbh, way easier than CE with its Assault Tank (reactive armor) spam. It's only problematic when the enemy has mostly Ultra APs / Combat drones and they decide to gang up on the 1 non-rogue unit.
The biggest issue with the Tomorrow Era is that by the time you're there, you shouldn't have any issue already having hover tanks and subcruisers. The combat drones are useful for fighting artillery units of higher eras. That's about the only good unit that works in higher eras.
@JackMaster 01 Once you're in TE and can produce your own combat drones, those battles get easier (maybe attack helicopters will work). Until then, try a hover tank + 7 rogues, but have a few of them slightly damaged so they'll get targeted before your precious unattached HT.
Very interesting. I was never happy with the stealth tank, but the combat drone is amazing. I still use it on occasion in Oceanic Future.

The artillery units for the CE are horrible. Hit 1-3 units and disappear. Useless!
