Awesome bike except for that. I was doing a pull in the hwy and I figured when I shifted from 5th to 6th the bike would keep pulling...nope what gives lots of rpm and power left why cap it off at 204.
It's an adv bike.. Ofc not a track hawk. Plus no. Of cylinder has nothing to do with it being a track bike or not. Triumph uses their 765 engine in moto 2
Mate, i know it's an adv, but so does the 1290 KTM. Btw, track bikes are not meant to be only inline 4, cp4 or v4. Many v twins has been used as track bikes, VTR 1000, Ducati v2...
@@Sharpey76. Its not slower. The Tiger is restricted at 204 km p/h. The Beemer goes over 220 km p/h. The Beemer has more torque and better roll on power.
@@vinjofin1972 and why would you go over 220kph with a bike with the aerodynamic of a cow? even over 180... with my FZ8 I smoke the fellas with their GS so...
Simple fact of the matter is this. This is NOT a top end bike, it is a bike made for a purpose other than top speed. It is powerful yes, but the geometry and suspension are setup for hard rough roads not smooth tracks. Wide bars, big ass gas tanks on top and soft suspension is not fun on top speed runs.
Without the limiter it would do ~245kph judging by how it gained 15km/h per 500rpm in 6th

You could use TuneECU to unlock the limited speed of 204.
@ADV-Rider-Dude I'd love to see it done I'd rebuy the bike again.
With 2k rpm left in 6th gear, it would reach 235-240 kmh if removing the limiter
But not good for Engine
@@Northeastindianchinki no, the engine have 3 cylender, so the engine can support that
@@djshiroi9708 that's why I'm saying it's not a track bike with inline 4 engine

What is the use of 150 bhp if you limit the speed on the bike. Better BMW GS. Less bhp but no ristrictions.
and also slower fanboy
and you could ecu tune it and remove the speed limiter
@treasuremen perhaps. But it costs extra. Why should I do that?

there is limiter bacuse tirupms get tank slapper after 200. u can see videos
I think older version... This new one too?
Jesus...Why ?? Great bike...If i had it,ECU tune instantly

Sounds exactly like a Mclaren P1
This bike with full exhaust air filter and remap ou flashed kick mts v4 ass
A minha dei 222 com um garupa e ainda tinha motor
Não estava limitada? Era a 1200 tiger?
