Before I quit overwatch 2 I was stuck like plat - diamond and biggest issue I had when trying to climb and play like this is most teams just become one sort of blob that all move together on point. anybody who leaves their blob gets murdered instantly you can’t really make plays or anything you just poke untill you can spam ults. Whenever I watch higher rank gameplay the positioning of most players makes so much more sense the pace of the matches etc all actually flows really well and nothing feels stupid I found most matches at my Elo where literally just chaotic as fuck. I used to play mid masters in ow1 idk where that equates too in ow2 but the entire tempo and structure of the game seemed to be lost in my current Elo it really felt like complete luck nothing anyone did had much bearing on anything
If you really want to climb you need to focus on your own game and position as if it was a high tier match and get value to help the team. Eventually as you climb your teammates will start to become more harmonious…. Sometimes
@@wolfi7084 ah yes the classic fix ur positioning and game sense response to being hard stuck my bad. And could you tell me how I out position getting a silver on the enemy team and only gaining 2% for a win? Or how do I outposition a five stack of players hugging eachother? Or idk how does my good positioning and game sense aid me with people who throw after one team fight? appreciate the advice but as I said I simply just do not play the game anymore it is far more fun watching someone like this play instead. I literally got a 16 win streak once had a super crack night on dps triple stats of most players in the lobby every match and I went up one single tier.. tell me how that’s my fault oh and then I lost it all the next night in five losses.
@@pest5373I know it’s been ran to the ground but it’s really that simple: play for yourself. Not much more to it man. You can’t make them play better but you can certainly change the trajectory of a game if you play good.
Typically it is, you just need to know when to fade and throw out your orbs, aside from that.. Moira doesn’t really require much skill, or at least compared to any other hero (besides Mercy)
@lev1eye628 Mercy doesn't take any skills? Honestly, I disagree. To play her in rank it's not that easy to climb like the other heros. Every heros takes skills. I would love to see you hit Top 500 as Mercy only
@@Cythereattv I didn’t say take “any” skills, I just said “much” skill. Yeah once you get your movement in check, there’s not really anything else. You’re basically just spectating until you finally pull out your blaster that has the hitbox thats bigger than Pharah’s rocket (yes this actually has been tested) so even just shooting with her is forgiving. Not only that but Mercy is heavily reliant on her team, which yea you could argue every hero is but mainly Mercy. (Ex: If you dmg boost someone, they absolutely have to be good) Yes I agree its hard to climb to top 500 with Mercy, probably the hardest in the game but that’s because she’s so reliant on a good team.
im just gonna say, everytime ive ever went into the backline i got the kill, escaped (rare almost never happens), got the kill died, or immediately shot by the whole team when they find out im behind them and kill me (which is most of the time), so i dont push backline and they have better aim than what i saw at 1:14 to 1:20. im in gold/ platinum lobbies, so how did they let you live? my lobbies there is zero chance i live, exact plays and everything lol
Dodging techniques. I've made a lot of videos about it. Regular viewers of the stream will notice how I'm dodging at Ashe's fire rate. It's like a dance where her gun is the beat of the drum, and I'm making a very subtle move right before the beat.
Yeah that's a difficult one for me too. Sometimes I can get it before the doors open and sometimes not. Can't seem to figure out the perfect position/timing
I've seen how to do this in a previous video on doing a fade jump. I tried to imitate that method but I couldn't do it at all. I can't get the hang of it.
The best thing I did was to quit Overwatch and switch over to Valorant, but I still enjoy watching your videos from time to time and check the state of the game. Do you have anything in mind that could replace Overwatch yet? Love ur content as always ❤
Honestly not sure. I tried Deadlock, but it looks like a really deep game that requires a lot of time investment to learn. I'm at the stage in my life when I need something quite basic. Overwatch is king because I've already invested that learning time, now it's just like, managing delta changes. I'll look at Marvel Rivals more though.
If I were you, definitely Marvel Rivals. It's very fun game. It not because it has 6v6 or whatever, something new and fresh even though it kinda similarities (my opinion)
if you check 1:05, ana used sleep and nade, juno used ring, and as he dived in, ashe used dynamite. that leaves them with only juno's E/Shift and ashe coach gun. furthermore, since his rein just got anti'd, juno and ana prolly wants to use E/ shoot backline respectively to get value from their cooldowns, so they're not thinking about the moira flank at that point in time!
@@kaffii1238 he couldn't have possibly thought about every outcome and made the the only "right " play that doesn't sound realistic. if the enemy ashe wasn't a burger and missed every single shot ( which is weird for a higher ranked player like arx to be match with) then it would be a horrible play 9.5/10
It's not about getting kills there. The idea is that when the enemy Rein moved forwards, I wanted to pressure the Ana to cut off his healing. That way the enemy tank overextends without heals and we take a positive value trade (enemy Rein for Moira) which is a winning play. The enemy Ana was smart and pushed through the choke and continued to heal the Rein, which is why our tank died and not theirs. Afterwards it's just deathmatch, which I'm good at, but losing our tank while theirs was alive means we just lose the fight. To answer your question, I wanted them to instantly turn around and jump me. I just wanted them doing that to cause their tank to die. It's a chess sacrifice.
The most fearless Moira.
you dont need utility when the enemy team's utility is dead.
I feel like your team had two tanks with the way you were playing haha

3:42 awesome teamwork, don't get that too often in this game but when it happens it's so satisfying... always great vids arx
1:12 that was nastyyyy
I really like your content but why are we playing “Juno ult is lava” at 14:43
Nothing annoys me more than when teammates die running away from it
