I was born in 1947 so I have an affinity for this year. My family owned a 1947 Hudson for many years and I wish I had one of those. Nevertheless, I always loved Buicks and this is a great example. Thanks for sharing.

F and S are the "fast" and "slow" clock speed adjustment

Power Steering was first offered by Buick in 1952. Power Brakes came in 53 they say, but I have driven a 52 with Power Brakes.

You can open the hood from either side. If you want to remove it, just unlatch on both sides and lift it off. No tools required.

Beautiful car and nice video. Unfortunately there was music playing for the entire video and at times it was louder than your voice. Maybe leave out the music next time.

After the war there was such a demand for cars, you would have to be connected to purchase that car, and forget about getting a Cadillac with Hydra-Matic trans.

The radio has tubes, not transistors, so you have to let it warm up for several seconds. No Instant On here.

Cool. Amúgy erősen elmaradt a júniusi forgatásunk 😁

If I bought a car like this, would I be able to register it as a regular car that I could drive every day? I do not want a Japanese car.
