I put a big beach towel across my backseat and then pulll t out to ash it, it really catches all the messes especially under the car seats. You can pick your own color and design, also if I were you I would buy the rubber mats, and car seat covers for the front bucket seats
Lol! I cracked up laughing about the house shoes story. One morning I left for work…drove the 40 minutes in…stepped out of my car in the parking lot and realized I had on my house shoes! I had to drive across town to Walmart and pick up shoes to wear for the day. I laughed at my own self, and it’s still a running joke between me and my supervisor. 😂 I also did it again one Christmas. We left the house to go into town to see Santa. I was about to get out of the car…there were my house shoes AGAIN! 🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️🤦🏼♀️ I think I will take your idea and put an extra pair of shoes in my car from now on Lol!!!
Kelly, I think my car drives better when it’s clean. I know that’s just in my head but it’s a nice feeling. When you were using the slime I thought finally a good use of slime. lol. Amazon also sells seat mats to go under the booster and car seats to protect your backseat. Also, if you take your car mats to the car wash that has the pressure wand and clean them with the wand it does a fantastic jobs at cleaning the floor mats. Good video today. 🦋

Up North, we call it a Glove Box also. FYI, you have an air filter in that glove box. Check your manual to learn how to remove it, based on your car model. It will do wonders for your allergies. My husband suffers big time from allergies too. Changing that air filter, helped him so much. I hope this info helps you. Great job on the car clean!!🦋🦋🦋🦋🦋
I love a good car clean & refresh! 😀 I recommend the rubber mats especially with all of the rain in spring & summer, they won’t get musty smelling like carpet ones do sometimes & it’s easy to take them out & spray them down when they do need cleaned 😊 And here in Ohio I’ve grown up with it being called a glove compartment lol.

Good morning Kelly, New watcher for a few weeks now but I'm finally in the comment section. Your car turned out awesome! I just love your content especially your other channel where you show your recipes. You have such a great balance and I appreciate you keeping it realistic. I never wanted to own a home in my life then I saw your trailer home and it got me thinking about putting down roots for the future. Thank you for that inspiration. I suffer from allergies all year round and the key is to tackle it early on. Before spring time hits you should be prepping your body with allergy meds. I start about mid February and take the 30 dose of Claritin non-drowsy after that I take another 20 pills to finish off the dose then I'm good for the entire summer. After a few years you do have to switch brands because your body becomes immune to the medication. I used to use Reactine but it stopped working so I switched to Claritin. Don't be afraid to use the generic versions it's the same ingredients just cheaper. When my Fall allergies are about to kick in I start treating them at the end of September. All of the rain mixing with the falling leaves and changing of weather is what triggers them. I hope this helps. 🦋🦋🦋 ❤ Janelle 🇨🇦

This motivates me to go attack my car and get it cleaned. Only thing is this pollen likes to coat my car again completely after no time. I need to just get one of those car wash monthly passes for the outside during the yellow dust months. Lol. Love that you take pride in taking care of your car and that you have an older model and still take great care of it. I have a 2013 and it gets TLC also and it's about time to get another dose of cleaning.

If I may just a tip , I spray my mats down with water use dawn power wash let them sit about 10 minutes and then I pressure wash them and let them hang to dry. They always look so good afterwards. Thanks for the motivation. I really need to clean my car😊 so my son has absolutely horrible allergies. I was told that if you take local honey that's produced from the bees in your area it can help your allergies. And it worked. He took a spoon full a day. It didn't totally take the allergies away and once in awhile I will give him a Zyrtec or Benadryl, but it definitely helped. ❤️🦋
🦋 I know you said you tried Velcro, my husband has this year Honda and his middle console clip broke too. He used industrial strength Velcro, it’s stronger then regular Velcro, it worked for his. It’s hot here too, but not as humid, we are in California.
Just an idea for your console. Have you tried some magnets to hold it shut ? I absolutely need to deep clean my car thanks for the motivation now I just gotta get it out of the shop 🙃

Love your videos. For 10 years, my two boys n I traveled with my husband on his job. We homeschooled also. Here’s my van tip. I put bath rugs ( most bought from Kohls, you know the kind with rubber backing) n matching bath towels on our seats. That way if we made a mess, I could just throw them in washer at motels n be ready to go by morning. Also, little boys love mud n they knew if they kept the mud on the rugs it was no big deal. The carpets in the van always look brand new because they were covered. It makes keeping your vehicle clean so much easier!! I even put the rugs under the rubber mats in the front too. They were a little big so I folded them up the extra 4-6 inches by the seats. Between the mats n rugs, no carpet was showing. So instead of cleaning carpet, I just washed the rugs!!
The pollen is wrecking me here in North Carolina!! I just bought a new car two days ago. Well, new to me anyway, it's a 2019 Ford Edge Titanium. I was driving a 2007 Acura MDX, and I left my rubber mats in it. I will definitely be buying another set for the new car, I miss them already. This video has come at a perfect time for me. Though my new car is pretty much spotless, there are some crevices that need cleaned, and I'm looking for new organization ideas too. Kelly to the rescue for car motivation! The outside was washed by the dealership and it already has a half inch of pollen on it. I'll wait a bit to wash the outside again. Hi Kelly! I had a civic and the latch broke on my console as well. I hot glued a magnet to it and it kept it down. I first tried Velcro, but I live in Florida and you know humidity did not let that one last here either. you could also try hot gluing little weights to it and it might force it down. It use to drive me nuts! Defiantly hot glue, or super glue maybe
If you take something that vibrates, place it on the carpet of your car. The dirt will come up, and you can sweep it up while the vibration hits the floor of the car. Looks great. ❤ 🦋

I call it a glove compartment. For my last car I bought the weather tech floor liners. I loved them. For my new car I went on Amazon and bought a cheaper brand. I love them just as much. Does the same thing and I saved money. 🦋

Your car looks great, rubber floor mats are much easier to keep clean than the carpet ones. You have to switch up your allergy medicine every few years because your body adjusts. I recently seitched from XYZal to Zyrtec. I use Flonase, too, during the heavy season for me in the spring and fall. Flonase works wonders!

My center console thing had the same issue because the clip was broken. I was able to find the replacement part online for like 30 bucks? And replace it - it was pretty easy too!

I have a monthly car wash subscription. I think we pay $30 a month and I can drive through every day if I want. It’s great for summer time because you can get the temp down inside your car by about 10 degrees just from driving through it. Plus I can air my tires and vacuum whenever I want. It’s worth it in that GA heat. I don’t live there now but I’m from Atlanta.

We call that a glove compartment or glove box in the car. Also I have terrible allergies. I take Astepro nasal spray and Zyrtec every morning all year long. At night I take Flonase nasal spray and singulair all year long. PLUS twice a month I get allergy shots. 🦋
try buying a magnet for the center console of your car , or you could always jst remove the lid completely thats always an option too. gotta ask where did you get your seat cushion i have leather seats that would help so much in summer

Hey Friend, Happy Wednesday. I enjoyed this car clean out and I have noticed everyone cleans their car differently. I enjoy watching how everyone else washes/cleans out their car. ❤ I call the box in front of the dash the glove department and the middle in between the seats the middle console. ❤🥰🦋🦋
Have you thought about getting car seat covers? They are much easier to throw in the wash. I call it the glove box or glove compartment.
I call it a glove compartment. For my last car I bought the weather tech floor liners. I loved them. For my new car I went on Amazon and bought a cheaper brand. I love them just as much. Does the same thing and I saved money. 🦋
I call it a glove box. I take Wal-Mart brand of Allegra, it's much cheaper. I take it until things quit blooming and the pollen dies down. Your car looks great, rubber floor mats are much easier to keep clean than the carpet ones. I need to get one of those upholstery cleaners, I have stains on my back seats from the previous owners that I can't get out.🦋🦋
You have to switch up your allergy medicine every few years because your body adjusts. I recently seitched from XYZal to Zyrtec. I use Flonase, too, during the heavy season for me in the spring and fall. Flonase works wonders!
I'm loving the content, it's such a motivation. So nice to see something outside of the everyday house chores and decorating. I think sometimes we forget how much we live in our cars too.🦋
My center console thing had the same issue because the clip was broken. I was able to find the replacement part online for like 30 bucks? And replace it - it was pretty easy too!

I’ve used the Mothers Protectant cleaner for probably 20 years or more. I absolutely love it,it definitely makes your car smell nice and fresh and clean, and it’s long lasting. Nice job on cleaning your car it looks nice. God bless….🍃🌷🍃….🦋

I have a monthly car wash subscription. I think we pay $30 a month and I can drive through every day if I want. It’s great for summer time because you can get the temp down inside your car by about 10 degrees just from driving through it. Plus I can air my tires and vacuum whenever I want. It’s worth it in that GA heat. I don’t live there now but I’m from Atlanta.

I was raised with it called a glove box 🤷. I've been on Allegra for 20 years & Flonase nasal spray twice a day for about 15 years, which works great for me.🦋🦋
We call that a glove compartment or glove box in the car. Also I have terrible allergies. I take Astepro nasal spray and Zyrtec every morning all year long. At night I take Flonase nasal spray and singulair all year long. PLUS twice a month I get allergy shots. 🦋
try buying a magnet for the center console of your car , or you could always jst remove the lid completely thats always an option too. gotta ask where did you get your seat cushion i have leather seats that would help so much in summer
