I've watched a handful of your videos now, and wanted let you know how much I admire your scripting, editing, and on-screen presence, providing clarity and amusement equally. Bravo!
The issue for me with cricket 22 & 24 is not graphics but physics, the way bowler bowls batsman hits the ball is captured really well in cricket 07 whereas 22 & 24 feels a lot backward in that area, so at the end of the day you realise 07 is still best cricket game to play.
In India, boys love playing Cricket. And they also love playing Video Games. But there are very few who love playing a Cricket Video Game. I believe I am from that minority. Btw, there were some failed attempts in 2013 from Ashes Cricket series as well, around the same time Don Bradman Cricket was announced but it was so bad that Steam removed the game from their store lol. For a cricket die hard like me, what made it worse was how DBC was delayed upon Ashes Cricket's announcement coz BigAnt didn't want to compete directly with an established brand without licenses(Ashes game had the licenses for Aus/Eng). There is a forum called planetcricket which still exists for Cricket video games but safe to say it is not as vibrant as it once was when people used to come together and make mods for all these games. Oh, the good old days. Good video though.
Cricket 2024 is a good game. It has league games like IPL, Worldcups, Career mode, Tours, state, city, local level matches. I have played around 150 hours and still not bored.
I think if Codemasters would have come up with their version of Street Cricket then that would definitely be a huge sale in India. Considering the purchasing parity among lot of gamers or gaming enthusiasts in India(Not those who pirate despite being able to afford) people would definitely buy it.
Here's my memory of EA Cricket 07. My cousine and i used to set up matches of 5 overs and used to bat for an inning then change team so the other could take his turn. We were got so good in it that we used to make at average of 110 runs in 5 overs. My god those were the greatest days of childhood if we ignore the rc helicopter mission of Vice City.
