- Off Road Test in the mud with asphalt tires with the new 2021 Land Rover Discovery.
New 2021 Land Rover Discovery is available in Discovery, S, SE and HSE trim levels, in sporty R-Dynamic guise or as a practical Commercial model with a 2,024-litre cargo area, additional underfloor stowage lockers and the same maximum 3,500kg towing capacity as the rest of the range.
2021 Land Rover Discovery introduces a trio of new straight-six Ingenium engines, both petrol and diesel, featuring 48V Mild Hybrid Electric Vehicle (MHEV) technology for enhanced efficiency, performance and smoothness. The new engines are available alongside Land Rover’s four-cylinder P300 Ingenium petrol powertrain and with a new Intelligent All-Wheel Drive system.
- P300: 300PS (221kW), 2.0-litre four-cylinder petrol, 400Nm of torque at 1,500-4,500rpm
- P360: 360PS (265kW), 3.0-litre six-cylinder MHEV petrol, 500Nm of torque at 1,750-5,000rpm
- D250: 249PS (183kW), 3.0-litre six-cylinder MHEV diesel, 570Nm of torque at 1,250-2,250rpm
- D300: 300PS (221kW), 3.0-litre six-cylinder MHEV diesel, 650Nm of torque at 1,500-2,500rpm

it is not a difficult off road, but what surprised me was the traction of Discovery to have done this with asphalt tires!
Didn't like the rear at first, but it's slowly growing onto my liking
Discovery makes the near impossible look easy.

We want to see that how strong the discovery engine of 2021 model. Please make that type of video (like: ability to take power of road trains) thats prove the engine of 2021 model is still good.

Gosh I would love for that and all the other UK videos I see new or old Rovers to come over to the United States down here in the desert and do some of the rock climbing Trails I do with Jeeps and see what one of those could do with those huge wheels and Low Pro Tires hahaha everything looks better going on easy wet trails. Take that on Charlouea gap, Chiva Falls or back way to kings crown.

With all the cut scenes I wonder how many of those was due to the tire coming off the bead. Worse things for an “offroad” vehicle is to have huge wheels and skinny tires. A 16-18” wheel with 33-35” tires would be a perfect combo for these “offroad” vehicles…
My guess would be none because it would be very difficult to put the tire back in a 20" rim in the field.
This company is so poor that it doesn't afford to gift me one😏
