Welcome to the 5'er club, remember the best RV is the one you make memories in with your family. Great video! Few things, because if I don't say them and something happens I'm going to feel terrible. When hitching ensure the pin is slightly lower than the hitch. This will ensure the pin actually "slides" up the hitch ensuring proper seating. High Hitch is real and can cause serious damage; tug test is good but remember if you do a tug test and your pin is High Hitched, the RV will still drop on your bed rails and the damage, while less because your parked and not rolling, will be LESS but the damage will be done. Next, if you don't have a specific RV gps, please get one. Your weight, length and specifically HEIGHT is considerably more than your bumper pull, do NOT RELY on your truck navigation system, please!!! Get a RV gps and conduct map and software updates before leaving home for every trip. While I agree with you that the trailering "feels" the same from bumper to 5th pull, they are slightly different, for the better, but still different. Your pivot points have changed, get use to them quickly to avoid tail swing issues and backing woes. Lastly, I love all the comments regarding flex frame issues slamming GD, that's all crap GD makes a great coach, that coming from a Keystone, Montana guy. All the frames flex as they all come from the same manufacturer. If it happens, let me know I will give you a great place to get it repaired. Enjoy your new second home, make memories, be safe and hopefully we'll see you done the road soon. Congrats!!!!
Congrats; makes since since you also have the Golfcart and now you can land a larger cart if you choose too. Let us know MPG's difference and how the Truck is holding up o climbs when you get up into north in GA, TN or NC ?
Congrats on the new rig!!! Purdeeee!!! Watch the high hitching! Looked like the pin box skid plate did not make contact properly on the lower edge of the5th wheel hitch.
Very nice Momentum. We have a 350g Momentum Toyhauler and after 3 yrs we still love ours. Im sure you'll enjoy your new rig. Safe travels and hope to meet one day on the road. I love your drone footage, its very smooth. We just started a RUclips Channel to share our rv experiences too. Happy camping!!!
congratulations. The new rig looks great. And as for all the 'crap', it is always amazing to me just how much stuff can be fit in such a relatively small space. With 5 of us in our Class A, there's stuff everywhere.
Congrats! Well, that is a beautiful rig, at least you have the right truck to tow that beast. Don't you just love transferring all of your stuff over to the new rv, I found out real quick all of the stuff you put into your rv, we have done it a few times.
Not really .as an experienced rver I can tell you all rvs frame flex. Don’t let internet fool you. Almost all rvs have lci frames not just grand design. Thank you for watching
Looks sharp! Don't forget after you hitch up to leave the landing gear a couple inches off the ground and apply trailer brakes, and pull truck forward slightly to perform a "tug test". This ensures the hitch is latched properly along with your visual inspection of the jaws. I was so nervous when we first switched from a trailer to a 5ver but boy I love how they tow!
Idk 🤷♂️ either. But I can tell you as previous grand design owner that they’re good rv brand. I know all rvs have issues and common problems, but it’s about the brand backing them up and taking care of their customers. Thank you for watching 🙏
Never owned one, but there's alot of people that have frames breaking, after 2021, grande design start doing short cuts, from material shortage, good luck,,

Curious why you got a Grand Design toy hauler? Aren't you worried about frame failure?

Keep an eye out for frame flex.
Yikes 😳. Hope not to run on issue. Thanks

Yess we do the tow test every time. Thanks for the tip and thank you for watching
You seen the vedios of the Texas couple,, had the same trailer, lol, it's broken,
Gotta check it out. Thanks
what toys you going to put in it?
Golf cart
Kayaks
Jet ski
I find it interesting, no one buys. Arctic Fox, Northwood, or Outdoor Rv, made in Oregon, yea there built, way better, a little heavy,,
