For those experiencing issues with step 4 of bypass.bat (error: unexpected output, expected 0x5f got 0x), try pressing all the buttons (volume up, down, and power) and then connect the phone. At least that worked for me.

Thanks but what if I already did the bypass to my phone and for some reason I installed a rom to my phone that was working just fine, one day I rebooted the phone to recovery but it never boot again and stayed on black screen with white led light. I was trying to do this again but it never passed the driver filter device step and the bootrom never kicked in, was never reconized ever again. Should I open the phone, disconnect the battery and try again?
No need to disconnect battery until it is getting detected as either mtk vcom preloader or mtk usb in com port section of device manager, immediately when u connect device.... Note: If not detected try pressing power for 10sec

I managed to get myself into a corner, I successfully downgraded to earlier miui(from 12 to 11), thinking miui 11 would be a9 based, and ended up flashing factory preloader with a10 firmware still on device. So far the only thing the device does is its led lights up when it is connected to pc. I'm able to do everything up until the bypass step, and then it just errors out, the bypass script stalls and sp flash tool displays a rather generic error about trying to reconnect my device. Is there a sequence of actions that can stilll unbrick my device, am I missing something here?
@@AlltricksCoIn In the end, this didn't work, I was probably stuck with stock A10 boot rom which didn't let me reach reflashed factory preloader. But once my battery finally drained, I was finally able to use the bypass method and reflash my phone with a stock a9 rom and then slowly work out how to install a compatible A9 recovery, A11 CFW, A11 CFW recovery and then a custom ROM.

Then run the cmd manually ...open it in note pad and copy paste command to cmd window

Try sptool directly with connecting phone later ...I mean use older method that works with factory preloader
