This was delightful! Love the relationship b'tween A n B! Thank you for taking your time and using your talents to bring this snippet of WML to us~ SK IN USA (NC)
These are so good. Keep them coming. I think they yours from like 56 to 58 or my favorite of Arlene because of her really blonde and shorter hair. But I love them all
@@lisas4444 WML became a syndicated 5-nights-a-week show in 1969, same year Sesame Street came on. It had a spoof show called What's My Body Part, hosted by Guy Smiley.
That's a play with similarity of spelling these two words, I believe, germane (which Martin used) and German (Arlene) and taking germane as not a grammatically correct adjective meaning: originally from Germany. That's how I understand it, although as I always say, I'm not a native, so I may be missing something still, so can someone, please, take a position on it also and verify this?
Arlene was so witty… my all time favorite

Or, known on Sesame Street as Arlene Frantic and Bennett Snerp.
I didn't know that! But maybe I was too young to remember that 🤔. WML hadn't been long ended at Sesame Street's beginning.
