Izzy has been and always will be the coolest and most important member of the band. Izzy was first to leave Indiana and go to Hollywood to be in a band and create amazing music. Appetite for Destruction is Izzy's story more than any member of the band.
@@SomberdemureIzzy was the main writer of the songs for gnr lil bro 😂 Axl slash n Steven were needed for it to work but most of the songwriting and main guitar structures they had was due to Izzy
@@Somberdemure "In our case, Izzy was probably the most significant force - without his initial vision and his songwriting cues, there would have been no Guns N’ Roses.” - Duff McKagan
Probably the best hard rock guitar duo of all time. Just how they weaved and complemented each other's styles . Izzy sounds like he's playing through blown stereo speakers with some cheap pawn store hollow body guitar, and Slash with his hard edged les Paul marshall sound. They worked so well.
Probably. But the funny thing is that they're no where as high as the street dopers today. The drugs just weren't as strong. They were definitely lit, tho
@@ScottishTeeVee 2008 libertad tour. Brighton. Had a backstage meet and greet. Talked to Duff for quite a while as I'm a bass player and he's was the reason I played. I was like yeah😂 he said "oh I heard it somewhere, I didn't know if it was a joke or something aiiight cool" 😂 Slash did have somewhat of a limp handshake but I assume he shakes alot of hand and saves it for guitar playing so I let that slide haha. Oh, my gosh. The stuff people could say back then and not get cancelled for, lol. Thank God GNR never got cancelled! Not having the internet back then helped. I love it. Love these guys.
For anyone curious about the art in question for Appetite album the artists name was Robert Williams. For whatever reason they don’t mention his name but I highly suggest anyone check out his works. He is a an underground legend in L.A.
Izzy is high af. The way he had to preoccupy his mouth, downing sips of coffee or whatever liquid in that cup, and lighting cigarettes one after another.. 😂😂 This interview is gold btw
Izzy's so cool , if you look the word up in the dictionary his picture should be right next to it , I love the fact that he's such a good songwriterand money and fame was definitely not what he was into cuz he quit guns at their most massive point the hugest they were, he said f...ck it this is to much drama his guitar work is way underrated but he don't give a s***🤘🤘🤘
I never realised his grandparents hadn't seen him since he was 11. I wonder if he ever met them again. They probably would have frowned on his lifestyle in 1987 but proud of what he's become now in 2024, a true legend.

It's a miracle that everyone in the 'Appetite' lineup of Guns N' Roses is still alive.
Steven Adler
@@kingragnar8023 steven is still alive😭
They may be living still, but they're split (with the exception of Slash and Duff).
Thats an understatement! They were the most hardcore mainstream band i ever heard of. They were sex, drugs, and rock and roll, x10 over motley crue.
@@finckel2682 they got back together man. Nobody liked it. Nobody liked them 92 either. Theyre heyday was 87-91

Izzy's voice!!! Omfg 😍 I love it
he's a cutie
Izzy was the coolest member of guns at this point in time.
Izzy puts a smoke out then immediately lights another one. Classic Izzy.

You just can't buy or learn what Izzy has
Everyone is talking about how cool he is, but what is fascinating to me is how he is right-handed yet he is smoking with his left hand.
what part is this please tell me?
Slash and Izzy are definitely on something 😂😂😂
Ahhhhaaaaahaa
High ASF
They’re high on life. They were straight edge man 😉
You can practically smell the fishy aroma of heroin coming through the screen.
Probably just acting stoned even when they weren`t the same way Johnny Thunders used to because that`s what was expected, just a part of the pose.
Izzy’s like a young Keith Richards lol.
Most of the rock guitarists always imitate Keef's appearance, his guitar playing style and his behaviours.
I actually thought it was Keith himself 😂
No Izzy's more like a young Ronnie Wood.
And he is. Just like Axl Rose is the American Mick Jagger. Jagger and Richards: the glimmer twins, Rose and Isbell (Stradlin): the glam twins.
And Johnny thunders
They' re legends....I love Slash and Izzy....iconics....like Axl!! What amazing band they was!!!
Vintage Izzy, priceless.
Izzy sounds completely stoned and I love it
Who would have thought about what came after!!
Izzy remains the coolness in the history of GnR
god, I love Izzy so much.
These two dudes are the only ones who motivated me to start smoking
Izzy always looks cool smoking those reds hell slash started using heroin cause Izzy looked so cool doing it ahaha
...should of motivated you to pick up a guitar kid,,,!
what 😀
