You gave a very eloquent explanation and detailed description of fougere fragrances. But the examples you chose are probably not what people really think of when they talko about fougere fragrances. Your examples are modern, young generation oriented fragrances. Nothing wrong with them and I like both Versace fragrances you mentioned, too. Only, my examples of fougere fragrances would be Dior Eau Sauvage EDT (NOT Johnny Depp's Sauvage line !!!), Tom Ford Beau de Jour or similar crisp and herbal fragrances. Anyway, this was a pleasant to watch video !

Well I subscribed. You did an awesome job explaining something I couldn't find. One of my all time favorite fragrance is Givenchy's Pi and unfortunately It just doesn't last long enough for me. I was looking for an alternative and came across NILUFER Extrait De Parfum Nilafar du Nil and Fragrantica says its an amber fougere. Looking at similar Fragrances to it, I came across Pegasus by Parfums de Marly which I absolutely love. I would say it is a clean, soft, linen-like, nutty smell. I would also say Pi is similar to that but more sweet. Great video!

I own a fragrance called Dunhill London Edition and it's a great old school 80s fougere scent but the performance is horrible because of reformulations. 😖😖
