Cheers, Jeff! Yeah, i really love both but with what you get from that 10 CS, it's a fantastic everyday dram and I think the best core range they release in relation to price.
Great list Eric I'm not quite a peat head yet... Still love those sherry bombs... I however do have batch 11 of the 10 cask strength and its wonderful... Great list buddy... Happy holidays my friend... Cheers Alan
Cheers. Alan! Those are two excellent whiskies. Have you explored any of the oloroso or PX-finished peated malts like Ardbeg Uigeadail or Lagavulin Distillers Edition?
Laphroaig 18 is really something special... I was lucky to get some when it was still available locally. I believe I can still get some 200th Anniversary 15 year old, which is very close to the 18...
Great video Eric. Have you had a chance to try the new Laphroaig 16? PA still has a few bottles available online but I have not pulled the trigger yet.
Great list! I love this distillery. Along with Kilchoman I think it’s the best stuff from Islay.
Cheers!
I really appreciate the affordable cask strength whisky and I'm glad to see you appreciate it too!
You know it! :)
Great review!
Cheers! Thanks for checking it out.
Hit the lottery when I found the 18 still sitting on a dusty shelf for only $99 about a year ago. Motivates my huntin drive
WOW!! Great score, bud. That is almost unheard of these days,
I miss Triple Wood & 18! Currently my favorites are 10 Batch 15 & 16, Lore & Quarter Cask.
They NEED to bring the Triple Wood back! Such a good one
@@MaltMuserWhisky yes it was
Excellent list
Thank you for checking it out!
Great review. Been wanting to get a 25 for a special occasion but sounds like I should just open the cask strength 10 I’ve got on the shelf.
Cheers, Jeff! Yeah, i really love both but with what you get from that 10 CS, it's a fantastic everyday dram and I think the best core range they release in relation to price.
What an awesome line up. That 18 is sensational. I still have 25 yr and a 2014 cair deas to open. I cant wait👍
PrestigeLiquidsWW cheers! You’ll certainly love both of those after you crack them open. Amazing stuff.

foodquig it really is. You can still find bottles of the 18 too via secondary market but it’s really pricy.
@@MaltMuserWhisky Retail was pricey enough over here... I have never gone secondary and doubt that I ever will.
foodquig smart move! It’s rarely worth it
laphroaig 10 cask strength is the holy grail of laphroaig.
It really is. And still a great value. 🥃👍
10 Batch 15 is for sure!
I’m shipping 2 18s out tomorrow that I sold to an acquaintance...still have 1 bunkered. Happy New Year Eric.
Lucky them! And glad you still got one for yourself...not so easy to find these days! Happy 2020, Jason. 🥃👍
Great video Eric. Have you had a chance to try the new Laphroaig 16? PA still has a few bottles available online but I have not pulled the trigger yet.
I have! I posted a review a few weeks back you can check out. i found it at a few shops in Jersey.
Peat all the way! Cheers to the New Year! 🥃
Back at ya! 🥃
Great list! How would you rate the 2019 Cairdeas Triple Wood relative to these five? :-)
Cheers, Erik@ I would add it to my top ten for sure. I liked that one but didn't love it as much as the Fino cask Cairdeas from the year prior.
Great video!
VaryingViewpoint thanks!!
I miss the old 15 year.
Me toooo
Peat party lol. Do it up!!
haha well thanks, Sergei.
