16gb should be good enough, but I'd definitely go with 32 if you're doing video editing though... make sure it's dual channel too. That definitely matters

I thought the GPU game slowed down once it hit the 1060- 1080 range. It's pretty amazing now that these chips are coming out of nowhere to give us playable games without the need for a discreet GPU.

DDR5 split a 64Bits ddr stick into two channels so 4 channel is 128bis like ddr4 dual channel but with 4 channels you can get more different data each cycle, there's performance improvment but not in all aplications because is still 128bis.

You should be looking at a combination of factors, usually FPS, screen resolution and graphic quality, which all dominate the ryzen 7 7735hs we had on earlier. Saying that, if you only need it for emulation, then the 7 is ample.
you have 5600mhz ram that is working at 4000mhz ... enter the bios and set it at the correct speed and redo the tests you will get better performance. For an integrated gpu ram speed is really important!!!

Will the ram timing make a difference? 5600 CL46 vs 5600 CL40?
The difference would be minimal. CL40 would be slightly tighter (better) regarding latency, but I doubt many would notice any difference whatsoever.
The Radeon 780m can actually handle Genshin Impact at 60fps. Very impressive. Guess this will be my next laptop 😂
