Oh..... my...... god...... This has never happened. Out of all the youtubers I follow, noone has touched this incredible game. Finally building a log cabin before winter hits is an insane feeling in this game. Still updates almost monthly. Love the devs. Love the game. Fishing is king.
The main dev has his own channel, "Ugri Archer", where he shows his archery training with horse riding, making bows out of spruce, different kinds of arrows he makes and such.
Been playing this game on and off for more than 20 years. I bought it again on steam. It shows that lime did his research to do the things he did, nice work ethics! I found CDDA and dwarf fortress while searching somethings as deep as this one. Would LOVE seeing lime go "hurt helpless and afraid" or "runaway slave" in the winter! I know it will be too low graphics to some, but please come back to it from time to time :)
Have you tried the tilesets for CDDA? They have a large assortment that come pre-packaged with the game now, and many of them look (imo) even nicer than this
i play with Ultica myself but before that was available i had to endure ASCI you get used to it after some time i hadto relearn the whole game because i got used to ASCI so much :D@@thedogpicture6845
I enjoyed it, mainly because I learned how to actually play this from watching this. My own personal experience with this game was dying from cold while still trying to figure anything else out. Will give it another shot soon.
I hope you can get far and produce a series out of this game. Making you play through instructive like you are doing would be great. I need to play this game again. 😊
I tried to play this few days ago, pro tip, don't fight the first person you find... I got thrown out in the forest, ran around for 45 mins, somehow came back to the same village and no one would heal me
A little trick when you are hunting and want to get closer to animals, use the terrain elevation and the crouched position at your advantage so you can get closer to them without being noticed too much when the terrain allows you to
@@unclefiend3087 In Finland the Iron Age only ended in the 13th century when the Swedes invaded. So this game could take place in both 1000 bc or 1000 ad
I like Unreal World! Used to play with a friend of mine. Really nice game! I wish there was a game like that but happening in the 17th or 18th century (1600's-1700's) during the exploration and colonisation of the new world. I could see a game like that. Native tribes, different colonist origins, trade, hunting, crafting, building, navigation, farming, etc. I would definitely play a game like that.. Been secretly hoping that such a game would exist to be honnest.
Well I'll be damned, never thought I'd see the day that unreal world got the love and attention it deserves from a high calibre creator. Good stuff like, love it
What a fun trip back in time! I'd love to see more of this, graphics don't bother me, I enjoy simple visuals. Older games still have a lot to offer if you want brain stimulation.
You can make a wooden shovel by finding a fallen tree trunk and splitting it into blocks. When you find a reindeer herd put a pit trap in a natural choke point made by trees on that map tile then circle around and chase them toward the trap
Fun fact when throwing javelins you don't need to use WASD to individually move the target to the animal, you can use the mouse and hover over the animal then left click to throw
Hello, I follow your channel from Brazil. I really appreciate your content and games!!! This game reminded me of Space Station 13/14. Do you know this game?
Love this game! I want to get back into soon, but trying to finish a few more games in my backlog. I hope they nerf boards though, they're worth way too much given how easy they are to produce. They really should be about half their normal price.
The order of priority for survival is a rule of 3's, 3 minutes without breathing (asphyxiation, blood loss) 3 hours without shelter in an extreme environment (exposure) 3 days without water (dehydration) First locate clean water Then locate or create shelter Then secure a source of calories.
You can hunt a deer by just running after it with a club until it collapses from exhaustion. Its easiest in a field and ends up with a pretty clean hide
I wish there were more survival games like this that aren't lazy with their hunger mechanics. It's ridiculous to have to eat 20 steaks every 5 minutes so you won't die. I call those sorts of games tapeworm simulators.

YEA, I LOVE HOW METHODICAL SURVIVAL IS IN THIS GAME
you alright?@@Pr1vateLime
Ahh, the nostalgia, i remember playing this when i was too young to afford anything. This game single handedly got me into roguelikes.
YEAH, its still a fun game to this day
The vibe in this game is so good, its kind of peaceful settling into the normal rhythm of survival and occasional panic moments the game brings.
thankfully didnt get jumped by vagabonds
finland is so scary good thing its only a videogame setting
Super good worldbuilding as well
I actually have not played this game in some years. It's great to see that it's still in development and surviving!
yea!!! the dedication is crazy!
bought this game a while ago but the controls just hurt my brain so seeing a proper playthrough explaining the game mechanics would be cool!
aye glad i could give it to you!
Bro sounds like a psychopath if you listen to him talk about baby dear out of context
Makes it 10x funnier LMFAO
To be fair that baby was 90 pounds of muscle!
This is one of my favourite games, I'm really glad to see you playing it.
aye hell yea!!!!
I love low visual fidelity games because they're usually very much in depth. Great work lime, this would make an interesting series!
I've played this game so many times, and still keep installing it every so often to play some hours. One of the best survival games ever.

The whiplash between good ol' unreal world and its beauty and your limevtuber mouse cursor is real :D
I forgot about it and just gave up LMFAO
Yes, I would like you to make this a series, please. 😊
Man, good memories playing this in 2007. When it finally came out on steam it blew my mind.
Very interesting game! Please make more of it!
Great video, and one of my favorite games! Thanks for the upload, subbed :)

Do a spirit quest in unreal world! This is so nostalgic.

Baby killer Simulator wasn't my first choice but it was better than i thought.
Dropkicking babies is a fun past time
Never heard of it, but seems like a pretty fun little game, Lime.
Love this, and because my language is similar to Finnish I love just recognizing some things.
OH THATS SO COOL!!! WHAT THE HECK
@@Pr1vateLime for example Puula Koski would in my language be "forest waterfall."
Hell yes!! Thank you for playing this! Really about time this game got some more attention!!

This game feels like a mix of zombies and dwarf fortress. Which means it probably inspired both in different ways
I spent a winter playing this game and got pretty good at it. It fits the cold, snowy weather outside too!
I would love a few more episodes of this. The game has so much depth it's unreal. ;)
Great video! I've never seen this game before and you presented it really well!

Point of advise, build your shelter right next to the water for the winter. allows you to ice-fish a bit longer before you freeze to death.
Very nice, your trapping tips saved my playthrough.
This is the first time Ive watched a vid that wasn't zomboid or CDDA. and damn. I really enjoyed this.
Wow I remember failing to play this game YEARS ago. Cool to see it still operating
This was interesting, I think that it would be Cool to make it a series!
Nice. I'm glad and surprised to see this game pop up on your channel.
One of the greatest survival games games out there in regards to realism overall.
I would really like to see him play ADOM as well

I was looking at a dos game archive and found a cool game called URW, turned out it was just an early version of this lol
This is interesting and new to see Lime, do it if you have fun I'm down to watch and see where it goes.
The Oregon Trail is the first survival game. 1971. To be fair though this does look pretty cool. Thanks for sharing the video

You should import a funny jpg for the character portrait
Whew, what a blast from the past.
Great game!
Glad to see it getting some love here!
Would like a mini series!
Loved it, very nostalgic!
Moar, this bring back so many memories!
Been playing URW off and on for a long time, it's a good one.
duuuuuuuuuuude, I LOVE urw! You should try CDDA as well, super quality
For your traps, have a look at what rituals you have available. Some of the more common ones are directly related to traps.
The reindeer hunt was real rough lol
This game looks dope!

This demonstrates exactly why humans beat most animals before guns/bows

Ever heard of Stranded 2?
