I can't get out. I can't leave. She can't hear me. Nobody can. I hear her screams. I wasn't even the one who killed her but the memory of her death haunts me. Radiation wants out, I can feel it. The feathers around me are my own, falling from my once feathered wing as a webbed one starts to grow in its place. My wing, it's burning. My chest... It's agony. That horrible pain, the agony as magic burns through my skin, my muscle becoming exposed as the smell of burning flesh reaches my nose. I screamed, a horrible, unearthly noise coming from the very depths of my soul. I'm falling through the memories. It's chaos. There's blood, there's screaming, there's confusing and blurred images in my unfocused eyes. My head feels like it's splitting in half, an overwhelming hurt taking over. I can't escape. This is my own head. My mindscape. Nobody can reach me here. I'm trapped with the memories, the screams, the horrific agony that I've already experienced once before.
