Ty, you're the reason I'm switching from alpine to straight tele, love everything and anything you do, way to reinvent the sport of tele!

You are a huge inspiration for new teles. If you ever come out to Bend-OR we can drop some knees

Been riding a board since '91. Learned to ski in like 88 when I was 10. Haven't been on the mountain much in a number of years but about 4 years ago I wanted to get into Tele. I just ordered some used Atomic Carv with Black Diamond bindings. Looking forward to a new chapter.

@@FreeheelLife what are you thoughts on some used Atomic Beta Carv 7.20 with BD bindings to start? Or is there a more ideal budget friendly set up with 75mm?

@@ultrajaymemy first telemarks were betacarve.nice light ski....shallow slopes and tracks are good for putting together lots of easy turns that flow from one to the next ,it is hard to begin with to do steep slopes and go sideways to the fall line...back upright, equal pressure on both skis

i had rottefeller bindings from the days when they had translucent coloured plastic heel pieces, they break every time it goes -10celsius, sometimes -5.had to carry spares...avoid those.the older black plastic ones are fine.....people are tempted to have stiff bindings and tight springs.not necessary ,and it makes the tips nosedive when you go offpiste
