I am from Scotland and I have been listening to a lot of Scottish traditional music both old and new, Modern Scottish traditional music sounds more like old American country than modern American country, ironically. Modern American country sounds hip hopish and popish so it's like easy for beyonce to do, she doesn't have to step outside her comfort zone too much with modern country..

Houston Texas is a diverse city you m0r0n. We have rural-country parts, urban inner cities, and even upper middle class suburbs. Even literally have annual radios ever March here in Houston where they play country music, we have horses, cattle, bulls and etc. Beyoncé IS a COUNTRY girl.
