  • We explore the castle next door to Huntly Castle Caravan and Motorhome Club site. "It was the ancestral home of the chief of Clan Gordon, Earl of Huntly. There have been four castles built on the site that have been referred to as Huntly Castle, Strathbogie Castle or Peel of Strathbogie."

    Thanks for bringing me along to such a neat place. The dogs have such enthusiasm for castles. A good job in the images at the conclusion.

    That first car park is where we stay when we go there. It is part of the ski centre and that can be fun watching them in winter if the river does not come to visit. Trying to persuade Lindsay to go back there. She wants to go Orca hunting.

    Quite an impressive castle. Especially the fireplaces. All the dogs looked like they were enjoying themselves. Poppy leaping forwards on the lead reminded me of a dog I sadly lost last year. He would leap forwards in just the same way. His sister is much more laid back.

    Hi Bob and Jenny. I'm really enjoying your videos. A more general question. I've noticed that with all the UK motorhome RUclipsrs, it's always the men who drive the vehicles. I'd be interested to know why this is the case - are the women unable to drive, unwilling to drive or "pushed out" by the men? I don't think it's a big issue, and it may be a generational divide - perhaps younger couples share the driving. My wife and I are in our early 60s and share the driving on our holidays - and I'm grateful that we are able to split up the journeys.

    • @BobEarnshawMoHo
      @BobEarnshawMoHo  Месяц назад +2

      Jenny doesn't enjoy driving, I can't answer for the rest of the population as I think that would be a huge generalisation. The good news for me is that Jenny does all the planning and navigation. I just go where I'm told.
