- We explore the castle next door to Huntly Castle Caravan and Motorhome Club site. "It was the ancestral home of the chief of Clan Gordon, Earl of Huntly. There have been four castles built on the site that have been referred to as Huntly Castle, Strathbogie Castle or Peel of Strathbogie."

Thanks for watching!
Amazing castle, Poppy certainly loved exploring it!!
Really enjoyed. Well built castle.
Really enjoyed your video, watching from our little Gordon Castle (bungalow) in Gloucestershire. It was lovely to see Poppy and Tara having fun exploring the castle. 😀
Thanks for bringing me along to such a neat place. The dogs have such enthusiasm for castles. A good job in the images at the conclusion.
Thank you.
Always enjoy looking around the castles with you. 😃👍🏻 Trev
Thank you 😃
Tara looks like she is enjoying exploring also. Those fireplaces are impressive
That was a really nice well kept historical monument.Thank you all .☘️💚🤗
Poppy and Tara loved the castle steps,l bet the castle was alovely place,if only the walls could talk!thank you for sharing
Yes, the castle was a little spooky too!
Another great video, I enjoy the historical, detail's, more of the same
Finally home after our own Scotland adventure and catching up with our favourite YT folks!
What a smashing place. How nice to have it to yourselves. We'll be sure to visit it next time we're in the Cairngorms!
We're in wet Wales at the moment, still enjoying ourselves!
@@BobEarnshawMoHo we were in Wales until Friday! Have fun!
Well done Bob and Jenny a great video love how poppy and Tara love to explore as well what a fantastic castle and so well
preserved the family certainly had wealth and status to make a very grand somewhat palatial home! It must have been amazing to have been a guest there all the best to you all Daniel
Thanks so much
That first car park is where we stay when we go there. It is part of the ski centre and that can be fun watching them in winter if the river does not come to visit. Trying to persuade Lindsay to go back there. She wants to go Orca hunting.
Are there many Orcas in that river 😅
@@BobEarnshawMoHo Depends on the tide and the dram level 😂
@DesmondsDonders 😄
Quite an impressive castle. Especially the fireplaces. All the dogs looked like they were enjoying themselves. Poppy leaping forwards on the lead reminded me of a dog I sadly lost last year. He would leap forwards in just the same way. His sister is much more laid back.
Poppy always wants to be in the lead 😃
Great vid Bob with lots of interesting history, coincidentally it's in our next video so you stole a bit of our thunder 😉
Sorry about that. I'm sure you'll be doing a great video.
@@BobEarnshawMoHo we need more castles so we don't overlap 🤣
Ah, Flash's ancestral home(only joking). The chateau form was most impressive.Thank you for the tour Bob,Jenny ,Poppy and Tara.
It would have been very impressive! 😀
When are we going to have PoppyCam?
Be fascinating to see what she sees on her travels to castles etc!!
I tried that once with a GoPro, the camera kept slipping. The harnesses are too big for Poppy, I probably need that Insta 360 Go camera!
Haha I live here
Must be a bit drafty. 🤣
Hi Bob and Jenny. I'm really enjoying your videos. A more general question. I've noticed that with all the UK motorhome RUclipsrs, it's always the men who drive the vehicles. I'd be interested to know why this is the case - are the women unable to drive, unwilling to drive or "pushed out" by the men? I don't think it's a big issue, and it may be a generational divide - perhaps younger couples share the driving. My wife and I are in our early 60s and share the driving on our holidays - and I'm grateful that we are able to split up the journeys.
Jenny doesn't enjoy driving, I can't answer for the rest of the population as I think that would be a huge generalisation. The good news for me is that Jenny does all the planning and navigation. I just go where I'm told.
@@BobEarnshawMoHo Hi Bob, many thanks for your reply. And keep up the great work. Best wishes, Christopher (aka "Flaneurman").
