Damn you are right on time with all this info, this is what you call taking us to school and it can't be duplicated. Great info got to add this to the favorites with the other video!
When I first got my engine,I set the idle with the damn venturi inside, and when I turned on the motor I WAS FUCKING SCARED 😂😂😂 This is so bloody useful, thank you sir
You help me big time with the paper clip trick. My new motor the gap was set way to high, just looking at it,it looked fine. But she was screaming when I fired it up. Damn I've been outta the game way to long. Thanks man! After work today I'm trying that first!
I used to run 8 or 9 mm venturis for power but noticed 6, 6.5, 7 mm gave plenty of power and gave me 10 to 12 minute run times instead of 7 to 9 minute. Great video though many thanks bro!
Just got myself a agama with a novarossi beat. 21 proper newbie 😁 this dude has really helped me out big time 👍 u know your thing very very helpful thankyou Nitro is the glory
Damn it rajaa I think I've been chasing my taile going back and forth with low speed and idle gap causing nothing but issues..lol to fat to lean won't stay running or idle way to high...thanks brother
Good review bro, i just got a rc wit nova keep on .21 with carb insert (6) and couldn’t get idle set for nothing, now i see why. Doing drag so i will be taking that insert out and try to tune again today without it, hopefully i can get a good idle this time around...👌🏾👌🏾
The problem comes when you have to install the air filter. To me, the Venturi seems to hinder the installation of the air filter pipe. Wouldn’t it be better to install the filter without the Venturi?
Well the 1.0 mm is usually my starting point, it’s never stays there, new engine for break in usually come at 1mm for easier starting because they are set so rich. If I had to guess after tuning I’m usually about .6 maybe .5 mm gap
@@rajaa111 Ah, that makes a bit more sense:) Maybe explain that in a future video. This could easily be seen as the final setting in the way you explain it.
You just gave most newbies what they needed! Thanks a million! Real Talk...
Ron Fuller I’m trying to help out, thanks brotha 🍻👍⛽️💨

It did for me raja thanks bro love the videos
Do those Venturis have to be used?
So alway set idle gap with venturi out?

Roc&RCs thanks brotha, good luck with it👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾
Do you know if the Reds gen 2 offset venturi is supposed to be rotated to where you want the power to be?

Thanks for the info. My idle screw seems very tight could they seize up like the low speed you mentioned?
MPJohnny5 yes sir if water or something may have made it seize up, when you get it out put some anti seize on it, that should solve your problem
Which venturi should you use for break in? More airflow or?
I normally use the one that comes with the engine, usually a 7 mm is fine
That sure did help no doubt
Did it really help bro im lost my car runs less than a min at idle then it idle very high i just shut it off
Good info just subscribed
Thanks, right back at you!!!
One thing I'd say. If I set my gap that big, I cannot get a temp above 160 when the idle gets low enough. 1mm is huge.

For drag wouldn't it be best to take it off
Yes it would, more air, more fuel equals more power
Got some goodies
Thanks brotha
i have blew 3 of them farce motors up lol
Carnt you just take the venturi out completly and have even more air flow
ryanthethumb sure, you just have to tune for the more air
@@rajaa111 spose will have to richen it up and maybe change idle gap why do they come from the factory with them in
