The "hard cam" arguement is weak. WWE does 360 on RAW & Smackdown & its never like that. AEW should make fans sit there. Not a good look. It looks like a Sunday house show in WV
From that point they should have asked the audience in the further rows to move up so that can make the area look full especially if there are going to film ppv or even a televised tv show
I've seen this at WWE shows I've been to both people behind the camera may have the best seats. Yeah you'll never be seen in TV, cheaper seats and the wrestler seems like they talking to you/camera
Those are hard camera side seats. Since the cameras are never facing that side, they are mainly kept empty so that the family/friends/staff can sit and watch if they want. Even WWE has this side empty for that reason.
I would say it was more that the build for the ppv sucked. Cody leaving didn't all of a sudden dip numbers for AEW at all so not sure what you're referring to. And it's not an empty stadium.....they had 10,500 people there in what is around a 14,500 capacity seating for AEW ppvs at TMobile Arena
@@mattrice3993 I dunno if they do for wwe ppvs, they usually pan round the whole arena or start off with a shot where you can see all the seats are filled. Apparently they were giving away tickets with some sort of meal in Las Vegas not long before the aew ppv but i dunno how true that is. But seems like they struggled to sell tickets.
All of the empty seats??? Time for AEW to move Double or Nothing out of Las Vegas!!! Impact Wrestling (then TNA) had the same issue at the Bound for Glory PPV in 2010. The Daytona Beach Ocean Center was only 1/2 sold. The hard camera side was blocked off and not sold.
