    The great thing about the 80s was, that everyone got mad and gave a fuck if it didnt sound exactly like the studio version. In my opinion Vince sings even better now, his pronounciation may be worse, but look up how he sang the „liveee wireee“ part in 1983. He‘s at least way more dynamic now. Im glad that the audience in the video is still kicking ass like back then.

    I’m a singer who has ACTUALLY been trained, and I’m just going to say cut Vince some slack. He actually sounds pretty ok, and he’s hitting his notes. Obviously things are going to be rusty.... he ain’t 20 anymore, but in case it isn’t obvious, heavy metal and hard rock use voices that are supposed to put u on the edge of ur seat. It’s a mix between talking/singing/yelling. It’s very, very hard to master, and it’s really something only men can do sadly😔 rip (I be a girl fam). It’s a lot nicer than the shit metal and rock that is played nowadays or in the early 2000’s🤮. But nonetheless, Vince is trying man, hard rock voices aren’t natural and they are something that needs to be learned, mastered, and turned into a habit. Singing w that voice KILLS ur vocal chords w time bc it’s not normal. Vince straight up has still got it, but it’s also important to remember.... he looks like he’s running out of breath quickly which is bc of.... u know the belly, which is fine, it just makes it harder to find breathe support and stabilize ur core for power. Vince still be singing really well tho.

      Im glad somebody said it. I agree 100%. I seen them in concert a few years back. First song was kickstart my heart. He was out of breath the first few words that came out of his mouth. Pretty disappointing. Way worse than this. Thats his whole deal. He can still hit the notes. He just gets out of breath. He is old and out of shape. Hell they been touring for 40 years. Lol so ya.... its to be expected.

    • @colesmile3028
      @colesmile3028 4 года назад

      I mean I agree but also hard rock voices do come naturally too some people I feel like some can kinda be born with the type of voice it comes to me kinda naturally but its also the only style I can sing in lol

    • @skmatrix4608
      @skmatrix4608 4 года назад

      @@colesmile3028 that's a valid argument, you probably have a raspier voice which is very attractive! I am just saying for professional singers, having to sing with that strain, training with it to make it better, and using it all the time can be damaging. So if you do want to produce that kind of music make sure you drink your water and lots of tea haha!

      He hasn't lost his voice, it's still there. It's his weight that's causing those problems. Due to his weight he runs out of breath when he sings and when he runs out of breath he starts to mince words.

    Too Fast for love, despite Neil's always mediocre vocals - at best, was a legit great RocknRoll album. They never matched it, but Tommy's is a great musician and Mick Mars writes great rock n roll riffs. In the late 80s, all my "metal" contemporaries mocked Mick as being a poor player. They were all under the influence of flashy players who put on good demonstrations of finger excercises and scales played fast, but listen to Mars' solid rock play, his contemporaries can't match his RocknRoll chops.
