- Welcome back to another series of Norfolk Broads Experience!
It's July, and we are on a wonderful new boat called Evita. We start off our journey, as usual, from Brundall and head down the River Yare towards our end destination for the evening at Polkey's Mill, to get us in good stead for crossing Breydon Water the following day.
It's certainly great to be back on The Broads again and we hope you come and join us on our adventures!
If you do enjoy our videos, we would be grateful if you would kindly consider subscribing, leaving a comment and giving the video a thumbs up... oh, and don't forget to hit the bell notification so that you can be reminded every time we upload a new video.
Another wonderful vlog, thank you. The spectacular broads! Never disappoints.
Thanks Deborah, we really appreciate your comment. We agree The Broads never disappoints and we love it.
Lovely upload as ever, sorry first days weather wasn't brilliant.
Hi Balt VDB! As always, thanks for your comment and for your support, it's appreciated. Yes, the weather was a mixed-bag throughout the week, a lot of strong winds but thankfully for the most-part, dry! Take care
Great footage guys, and lovely to see one of the lesser known moorings being enjoyed 😁👍🏻
Hi Chris, many thanks for your comment. We loved Pokey's Mill moorings, would definitely return again! Take care
Something beautifully desolate and mysterious about the Broads. Stunning quality of filming. Polkey Mill was a lovely mooring.
Hi Susan - thanks so much for your lovely comment, it's appreciated! We completely agree, the atmosphere of The Broads really is so unique and it changes throughout the day and with the weather and seasons - how you could you ever get bored of it? Yes, we thought Polkey's Mill was a great mooring, our first time staying there! Take care
Enjoying the videos just a matter of Interest how wide is your boat it looks a nice boat
Thanks for your comment Ronald, we are glad you are enjoying the videos and appreciate your comments as always. The beam of Evita is 4.19 metres and she is a lovely boat! Take care
Unfortunately, we have lost Langley Dyke. Land Owner still wanted to continue but not the BA by all accounts. Let us hope common sense prevails and we get Langley back as you can also dump your rubbish there , as there is a very good facility nearby. Can you get up and down stairs from the inside. I am far too wobbly on my old pins to go down those outside steps.
Hi Bernadette, as always, thanks for your comment! We are gutted to hear that Langley Dyke is no longer a BA mooring, it's a spot we have always wanted to try and seems to be one of the lesser known moorings on The Southern Broads. We agree with you and also hope that common sense prevails and it makes a return as we would love to visit. Evita has steps that lead from the saloon area to the upper helm. There is also a side sliding door in the saloon that leads out onto the side deck of the boat; so that would be another option for getting on and off. Hope this helps! Take care
Can you start adding boat tours in so we can see them and help choose when booking?
Hi Daniel! Thanks for taking the time to leave a comment! We will certainly take your suggestion on-board, however the main purpose of this channel is to try to accurately portray the feel and experience of being on The Broads, rather than boat tours or reviews. But it's certainly something we will think about in the future. Take care
