My smart mom hands over her phone to me so that I can reply to the text because she's not 'fluent' in English. And to make up for that, the person hosting the party will call the guests like an hour before the party actually starts and still they’re late.
If the time is 6:00 pm, they’ll be like oh we have to reach there at 7 and they’ll be there at 8.
But from my experience I can say that children are never late.
Yesterday was my little sister’s birthday and all her friends were there ON time and some of them were even a few minutes early.
