Omg!!! Idk how I came across this video but you just helped me tremendously. I was getting sound from a preset then when I switched to another patch... no sound. Problem solved!!! Thank you!!!!
I was wondering how to do this I was playing my Helix at church Sunday for the first time playing it live and I was like the volume the pedal isn't working properly when I switch patches. I need to to set it to Global instead of per patch. Thanks for a great video!
Just a suggestion for a future "Helix Tips" video: How to download your presets and then install them on the Helix. Perhaps it is so easy that this is a dumb idea but I was just wondering about how to buy some of your presets when my Helix finally arrives.
I would love to know how to set up the harmoniser in the helix.... I don't exactly know where to assign it and it is not sounding good like the normal harmoniser tone using my lead preset
Hi Ben, thanks for all of your videos, I find them very informative. I have a question about my Helix setup. Along with my Helix I am running a Roland GR-55 through the effects Returns 1 & 2. Playing at my church I use the GR-55 mostly for strings. What I'm trying to do is to be able to fade between a Helix guitar patch and the Gr-55 strings. I have been able to assign the Returns to the expression pedal and I am able to 'switch' between a Helix guitar patch and the GR-55 but it's very abrupt. I'm wanting to FADE OUT the Helix guitar patch 100% while FADING IN the GR-55 to 100% smoothly. Any advice???
I hope you can answer my question. I recently purchased a Helix and my expression pedal when pushed foot down to the heel position. The volume doesn’t go to 0%. It stays around 18-23%. When pushed to the toe position it goes to 100% tho. I cannot find a solution to this and I have reset the helix already. Thank you.

I'd love to do a video about that sometime. The key is it mostly only works on single notes at a time.

Great vid! Can I assign exp1 pedals and exp2 pedals to control a different parameter in each snapshot of one patch?
I don't think so. Assignments are at the preset level. Only settings are at the snapshot level.

David Franks try the “split Y” and have Helix on A and synth on B. Then assign pedal to sweep between them.
