- The Royals brought the lumber in the series finale vs. the Rockies, clubbing three home runs to back Brady Singer's strong outing. Maikel Garcia, MJ Melendez, and Bobby Witt Jr. each homered to back Singer, who tossed 7.0 innings of 1-run ball, striking out 7. Freddy Fermin had a productive day at the plate, driving in a pair of runs, and Salvador Perez reached a career milestone by collecting his 1,500th career base hit. Angel Zerpa and Kris Bubic tossed scoreless innings to close out the game and give the Royals a win over the Rockies in the series finale.

Royals gotta get back to being good
Needed... badly needed win
Spectacular win but we need to get back to playin ball like against the guards
With the Cards and Red Sox on the immediate horizon, both series on the road, and both teams playing well, we need to hang in there. Hopefully the bats will keep going and the pitching can help us during this big stretch before All Star break. Just no big losing streaks. Go Royals!
LETS GO ROYALS EVEN THO WE LOST THE SERIES
We are on vacation we went to watch the it’s was so fun seeing maikel and mj hitting bombs when they are sturgling and seeing salvy get his 1,500 hit, the boys are playing some ball
This is what we need boys, good game to get everybody back on their game. I think we need to beef up the bullpen before the deadline but other than that I genuinely think this team could make a Cinderella run through the playoffs
Lets go on streak
Thank you for deciding to actual play ball today
Bout eff'n time
Royals need to figure out a way to get both Freddy Fermin and Michael Massey in the starting lineup every day. Fermin is hitting .304, and I'd like to know KC's record with Massey starting.
Where was this the rest of the series?
They lost the first two.
They were stifled by the other pitchers
Can't beat the Indians 3 outta 4 games and lose a series to the struggling Rockies. C'mon man. Take care of business in STL.
