I'm honestly the most upset about Feral. They used the fanbase to "test" their new game, took all the money players dumped into the game, then stripped it all away from them with zero warning.
Literally 💀 they were like “Fer.al had a good fanbase 🥺” and then marketed Cinder… to… adults?? WHAT 💀they literally marketed Fer.al to KIDS AND TEENS, then when they saw it had a good fanbase (because it was for CHILDREN) they made a new game for adults,,.,.,.,..,,.,.,.,,.,., HUHH? This just made me so mad, like… children and adults won’t be interested in the same thing, and with Fer.al, there was no memberships and you were able to play the game completely without spending a cent. This is why Fer.al had such a good fanbase… and Cinder? You need to pay so much money just to get access to the game 💀 Wildworks is so goofy just for this, it makes me so upset (EDIT: Apparently they’re reopening on March 26th 2022, this year, only for one day… what is this meaning of this 💀 what is the purpose, what is the goal?! Anyways… *logs on*)
I wanted to play Feral because I played AJ on and off for years and I was really excited by the beautiful art and older audience of Feral. But when I found out that they had made it public (I signed up for email updates but never got them), it was so insanely laggy and there was no real guidance on how the game worked, like how to access the materials to make items. So I only ever logged on twice, hoping they would fix the lag issues but they didn't so I really missed out on it.
I highly recommend you watch izzzyzzz video on the closing of feral, she’s a very good commentary RUclipsr, and has some proof that disproves some of this, and generally has a lot of well researched information in their videos.
I’m upset about that to, and it honestly had such great Potential! I usually just bought the passes to try and see in that will help them keep growing the game. Even thought I was mostly interested in a story of the world, it was still absolutely horrible that they just- shut it down with No warning.
I truly don't think Cinder was "in progress for 2 years" like they say. Feral was advertised to the teens growing out of animal jam. Then NFTs became a trend, and since their company is dying I think it's a last attempt at making cash before they die completely. Cinder is basically just Feral but much worse. Reusing assets is not only lazy but also kind of adds to my point that Cinder wasn't in the works for as long as they say it was.
Exactly. I think they should've market feral a bit more to other communities besides AJ teens. Especially since it was delayed a while too. So some hype went down.
I feel like in 2024 or 2026 Aj might close down and then Animal jam will only be focused on Cinder, If they do so ill be terribly upset since its my childhood and i spent alot on play wild, Or pay wild as i call it.
@@fartmaster101 Cinder is already dying since the NFT hype is slowly starting to calm down. The game was a quick cash grab for the company and it has run its course.
The whole Feral* situation was really upsetting. I had been playing animal jam since I was little, so when I outgrew it and discovered Feral* being advtertised as a type of "animal jam for the kids who grew up" I was extremely hooked. The game had an interesting enough story, a lot of heart, great characters, beautiful music, and very interesting character design, so it's clear there were people who loved it, but Wildworks really screwed themselves over.
Right??? I managed to get into a fairly early stage of the beta testing, and I'm just remembering how much fun I had exploring with a few of my friends. I stopped playing after while though since they never really added anything except for stuff behind a paywall- and now that it's getting deleted due to their own problems, I feel really salty. I was really hoping to play again when they added something like adventures y'know? But it looks like we'll never see what it could have been :/
Oh I loved the game so much, but I kinda got tired of using the computer all the time (prefered using mobile stuff) and I didn’t like the controls for the game on my iPad (personal preference, no fault of Wildworks). Then suddenly one day I got the urge to go back because I loved it so much, just to get the closing message…
When I was “little,” I couldn’t go to school because I have a rare immune deficiency disorder and the treatment for it wasn’t ready yet. I had no friends, and I didn’t have any cousins that were in my age range lived near me either. Animal Jam helped me actually learn how to socialize and I’m genuinely disappointed that they’ve done so much ever since then.
You should’ve addressed one major problem, wildworks is VERY racist, not only did they make super stereotypical items on aj but instead of removing them like the headdresses they instead gave them a rare tag and made thousand of copies ans stuff spreading it around for little kids who play the game to see, i dont get why they removed a racing car but still kept their stereotypical items and stuff in the game.
Not only that, their Glassdoor reviews (reviews about the company by employees) state they are very traditional, biased against women and almost everybody working there is white, even though Salt Lake City is very diverse.
YES! I didn't notice it as a child, but the way they handled the headdresses was awful. Just taking a controversial item and driving it to the top of the desires of their young audience.
SO GLAD TO SEE SOMEONE ELSE TALK ABOUT THIS!! as an indigenous person, ive been upset and annoyed at the sheer amount of people using/wearing/trading/whatever the headdress items! :( sadly people generally dont take that sort of thing very seriously at all (in my experience at least,,)
5:04 There’s my screenshot! Boy, was I peeved. 😳 Anyways, this video came up in my recommended, so I think it’s appropriate that I leave some sort of comment as an outsider of Animal Jam now. Get ready to read! In May 2021, as seen in that particular screenshot, I expressed a great frustration at the state of Wildworks and relieved myself of the Jambassador position. Here we are, nearly a year later, and the communities have spiraled out of control, an NFT game released, and the shutdown of Feral. I want to say that I’m surprised, but I’m really not. When I quit AJ in May, I saw where the company and community as a whole was headed. My only goal EVER was to help their games and communities, but watching everything crumble before my very eyes was too depressing for me that I finally gave up. After the summer of 2021 in which I observed Wildworks games from an outsider’s viewpoint, I attempted to let people know that clinging to Wildworks’ games was just inviting more stress and toxicity into their lives, but I angered some people by saying that. I eventually decided that it was best to just let people learn for themselves, and not press the matter. Now that most people finally understand, I’d like to say something. While it’s completely okay to be angry at the company, there’s only so much you can do. Spreading awareness is totally fine, but when companies make decisions like this, usually you either have to go along with it or you move on from supporting them entirely. I know WW’s games have meant a lot to people, but the only people who have any power over their games are Wildworks themselves. No amount of backlash has worked in getting them to listen. The only way to inspire real change is to quit supporting them entirely. If it’s “revenge” you want on the company, then here’s the BEST type of “revenge”: Stop giving them money. If you want to take it a step further like I did in summer 2021, disassociate with their games entirely. Leaving Wildworks’ games behind held up a mirror to me, and I’ve never been happier or healthier in my life than I was during summer 2021 when I finally left. Sure, I missed my audience terribly and I gave up something I was so passionate about, but it IS possible to overcome something like that. I’m in a different community now, the Super Animal Royale community. It’s one where the company actually LISTENS to their players and updates their game frequently. They also have a very strict Discord server where it’s made CLEAR that toxicity and predatory behavior is NOT tolerated. Knowing where I am now, I could never just come “running back” to Animal Jam as if I’ve learned nothing from my experience. Trust me, the games look REALLY different overall once you finally leave. Life after quitting AJ/Wildworks isn’t as horrible as it sounds. Please don’t take this as a “you need to quit!” advice comment, it’s just from my own standpoint and what has personally helped me detach. I appreciate that there’s still plenty of people discussing these issues though, so keep it up! But also remember that there are other ways to hold Wildworks accountable aside from thousands of players screaming at them only to be blocked, and refusing to give them your money is the best way in my opinion. Thanks if you read this far! 🙏 I hope everyone in the Animal Jam community is doing well and my condolences go out to the Feral community. 🖤
I completely agree, tbh. Im really disgusted by what the company (wild works) has been doing lately, making a cinder nft game that's bad for the planet to replace feral and then unbanning hyenine1. Although im not trying to spread hate to wild works it's just wow. C'mon wild works, you can just do better than this.
I totally agree, wildworks cares more about money than their community. I feel upset with wildworks for what they did, they didn't even tried to improve feral, is had so much potential. They should ban scammers and hackers instead of creating a song about drama in instagram. Cinder will not be really succesful, everyone knows that wildworks shut down the game because they don't want people to have a free opinion. I am not really a hater, but Wildworks is not a really good company. I remember about a year ago I got hacked, I told ajhq by an email but they said: ''Don't share your password! sorry that you got hacked but we can't do anything" They don't even care, sometimes I feel like animal jam is going to shut down too, As julian2 said: is not play wild is pay wild. And btw I play pokemon go too.
I totally agree with everything you mentioned here. I admire your courage to talk about all this, too. A little while ago I got hacked on Animal Jam. I tried to contact AJHQ, and they didn't respond for a long time but when they finally did they basically said, "Too bad you got hacked on this kid-friendly game, nothing we can do about it." I was really crushed and really mad. Then it happened two more times. I wrote Animal Jam a review in the app store telling them about this problem and they responded saying it was MY FAULT for not havin two-step verification. Well, my buddy has two-step verification and still got hacked. Their friend has it too and also still got hacked! Just recently, I was trying to tell my buddy about a SNOW DAY I had and I am a fast typer so I guess I had a typo or something, I don't even know what, and I got suspended for no reason. To sum it all up, I do NOT want to support WildWorks anymore.
Same lol I still play after that though! And... They said feral is shutting down just because an nft game.. I uninstalled animal jam and stopped supporting them eventually..
I lost my 3 year old account when I was 10 after I got a new phone. And you better believe my heart was crushed. I had the biggest collection a 10 year old could dream of, so of course I cried.
It's so sad seeing the downfall of my favorite game as a child, I have so many great memories from it. It's disgusting seeing the stuff going on in Wild Works rn. I'm just glad my membership and merch money is long spent, and has been since before Cinder was announced. I'll be keeping those memories for free from now on.
I used to play this game all the time, i bought all of those little toys, so many good memories. I met my best friend on there like 3-4 years ago, and they are still my best friend. But everything has to come to an end, and its okay. We will always remember animal jam as the game that made us happy.
@@destinyurfaveditor Same! I have a Animal Jam Bunny Hat, And some of the toys and some stickers and notebooks, Now i don’t Really play Animal Jam anymore and also the toys i don’t play with too.
ie the filter issue - I experienced something that annoying back when I actually did play actively for a bit... Several completely safe words kept getting blocked and censored, and since I had actually had conversations with their customer service team before about previous issues, I messaged them just kind of going - "Hey! I know this is a kids' game, but I'm noticing there's a lot of censorship over various words and letters, like those relating to the lgbtq community, as well as completely innocuous words like 'sus' that some players can say and others can't. Can you explain why this is?" It was a very arbitrary thing in the first place. They replied back initially linking to the help article. I responded back, "The articles have no explanation, I have already checked them - I wouldn't have wasted your and my time if this question could be answered by the article." Their reply was a vague "You get to say more words by being a positive influence in the community." ... Okay? What does that mean? How does positive influence get logged? I can get banned or suspended in two seconds for a typo, so how am I supposed to unlock the privilege to speak more in your game? There was another issue where I made a masterpiece of some gay characters just cuddling together, they refused to approve it, and I had to basically wring specific reasons why it wasn't appropriate out of them through a series of emails. The reason? Blush and hearts. Things that they use in their own promo art, things that in-game opposite-sex ship art gets approved with. 🤔Interesting. The community team really felt like a complete mess by the time I decided to just give up. It wasn't worth it to keep paying this game for limited privileges and the knowledge that they could take my account and money for whatever reason they wanted if I made a little mistake. Man, if I'm gonna pay a game for the privilege of playing, it's gonna be FFXIV 😆Screw WildWorks. Nostalgia only gets you so far.
might be because certain states (like mine) have banned the public speaking of LGBTQ+ issues in schools, and homophobia and biphobia are very common.. also, is it just me, or are you more likely to be LGBTQ+ if you're born into a homophobic family?
Why is everyone thinking that speaking about lgbtq in a kids game is ok? There’s are literally 8 year olds on that game who don’t need to be exposed to many stuff they should probably know about later on, whatever I said sounds homophobic but… this whole thing is kinda messed up imo sorry- Although the other stuff is quite understandable
i agree with everything else but tbh they arent homophobic or lgbtphobic kids arent exactly supposed to be introduced into the community this early on, i hope this doesnt sound weird but yeah i understand them. still, screw wildworks
Mm. Disagree with both of you, respectfully? It's different to express one's identity around children than to expose them to explicit material. The fact of the matter is we share this planet with hundreds of culture and identities. If kids games facilitate a place to discuss these identities openly, it actually gives kids a safe place to ask questions and learn about them. Because, let's be honest, sometimes adults can be very... Biased in the information they feed their children, and that can do more harm than good. Besides, your points about exposing children "this early on" don't take into account, you know... Children with family members? I know I'm a nonbinary lesbian now, but I had contact with my gay uncle when I was far younger than I could operate a computer. Our family had open dialogues about his identity, and again, that helped me safely explore my own when I was old enough to start questioning it. It gave me confidence in my identity where other kids would try to hide it out of fear of rejection. It's very different for a tween girl to express that she might like girls, or for another around that age to express that they think they might be trans, than an adult going on the game and talking about gay sex openly. Proper moderation solves these issues; censoring all discussion worsens them.
It’s honesty sad to see how WildWorks has fallen into so much greed. I was more of a Play Wild kid, but either way, Animal Jam was a huge part of my childhood. I came across a few predators, and I fell into one of their traps. It’s honestly awful their still not doing anything years later. And it’s sad to see all their games just slowly decaying. I kinda just abandoned my account around 2-3 years ago. It kinda hurts to leave some of the friends I made on there behind, and I had played the game since about it was available to the public until around 2018-19. But even if I wanted to log in, I lost my account to the data breach I’m assuming, so ehhh.
I have been playing animal jam for 5 years. Several of the items I owned were limited edition and very rare. I had a membership and owned all of the best dens, artwork, and ocs. Then, one day, I went to log onto my account and it was just… not there. I emailed animal jam and was like- Me: “Hey, where’s my account?” AJ: “What account?” Me: “…the one I pay $100 every year for?. AJ: “It’s not in our databases.” Me: “Tf..? Okay, well, can you transfer my stuff into a different account? I have the credit cart information to prove it was mine.” AJ: “…” AJ: “Lol nah.” And I still don’t have my account back. A ton of beta, rare, and one-of-a-kind items and amazing artwork by other jammers are lost forever. That’s why I hate wildworks 😀
I haven't actually played AJ in years, but still, there are many problems and were back then. I'm still upset at them for taking down Feral, even though I never played it :/ The hacking problem was probably why my account was deleted, bc I can't log in, and ik 100% what my password was.
Ugh same. I've lost access to one of my accounts (unfortunately the one I had promos in) and it took 3 months emailing AJHQ back and forth even with solid evidence that the account is mine with old pics/videos showing me IN the account, but they refused to help if I didn't buy a membership via the AJ shop despite having a membership active on it from a gift card. And the "forgot password" option doesn't work because the email it's attached to was removed from the account due to a year of inactivity instead of just deleting the account like they said they do. So because of that, there wasn't anything to be done because they'll only do anything to an account if you say the email address attached to it, but they couldn't match it because it didn't HAVE an email attached anymore.
SAME! The only reason I might quit is because I got hacked not once...not twice...THREE TIMES. And AJHQ does nothing about it. So much for a "kid-friendly" and "safe" game.
Y'know.....it's sad.... I played Animal Jam pc since 2016 and it was so lighthearted and fun I made a bunch of friends on there Even discovered a few of the jambassders Than well.... When the leak happened that's when I lost all trust in wildworks and I stopped playing AJ I tried to log on for updates but it just wasn't as fun as it was anymore. Glad there's people talking about this Thank you - From a former non member Jammer Disneyprincess091
That's really sad about feral.. I was really hopeful for it because it seemed like such an interesting concept. It seemed like there could even be interesting lore and shit behind it. It had so much potential since it was 1. aimed towards the older kids who grew out of AJ but still liked it 2. it had interesting creatures to play as 3. the maps and everything were all so interesting and 4. the tidbits that we could see of the NPCs felt really cool. For it to have just been abandoned like that when it could have actually been an amazing game is just depressing..
I am very disappointed in WildWorks, honestly. I lost my rare beta AJPW account to the 'hacker'. They shut down FerAl on my Birthday A weird jammer tried to date me and when i reported, it was my account that got suspended AJHQ told me to change my username because it sounds like a jambassador's user smh I started playing AJ Classic when i was 5 and now it hurts seeing Wildworks doing these things :(
They also shut down Feral on my birthday month. I didn’t know that it was shut down at the time because I had took a break from it for a while and then, one day I felt like I wanted to start playing Feral again. So, I go into the App Store so I can download it again, search Feral and it’s no where to be found and I’m like wth where did it go. So then, I go search up, “What happened to Feral?” And I was very disappointed to what I discovered. I can’t believe they would just shut it down like that! Everyone’s detailed, unique animals that they designed and all the progress and time people put on to the game and it makes me disgusted about how they stole everyone’s money! It was such a beautiful game and I’m depressed that it is permanently gone. Btw, I also had someone being creepy and weird to me. They asked me if I was “taken” and they called me cute.
A bonus point; The "eco friendly" Blockchain Clark was raving about? Barely any better than ETH, like it's one of those "pretty on paper" numbers that's actually pretty much just as bad
Pokémon go has such a great community, Pokémon as a whole is probably the best community in existence, the customer service in Pokémon go makes the AJ customer service look like a joke.
I really hope, maybe, Animal Jam gets bought out by a better company and they flip this game back to how amazing it was in the older days. New updates, better security, etc. AJ is so nostalgic to me, and I miss the way it was when I first started playing.
At one point in my life when I was still in Elementary school, I conviced my computer teacher during class that Animal Jam was an aducational game about animals so she let everyone in my class play it almost everyday. Good times.
The people who breached the game still have access to the CURRENT database. There’s been so little improvement to the security and yet they say they’re “working with the FBI” to find the people who did it. They’re not. They never were. They never will be.
Something told me that they were just using Feral as a test for their newest game. I just didn't expect they'd shut it down entirely and without warning too. I figured they were going to troll everyone by applying an "update" to Feral that basically just turned it into Cinder and froze everyone's accounts until they bought a Fae. Also regarding hyenine's art, I'm still annoyed that they accepted questionable art from him and disapproved a masterpiece I made for a contest simply of a fox wearing a Panda hat and holding up a Frying Pan as a play on the "I'm a Pan-duh!" joke I included on it. I reuploaded it without the message (assuming they didn't like using the words "I'm a Pan" together) and it *still* got disapproved. I'm annoyed because I pulled an all-nighter to finish it 💀
I first played Aj in the fall of 2011 when I was in 2nd grade. Looking back now, 11 years later, its sad to see how much wildworks has fallen from grace. I dont know as much about how AJ was handled in the early days BUT I do know for a FACT that when Wildworks was still in partnership with National Geographic that the game was good, educational and fun! In 2013, I started to drop off with the game because the updates started to become repetative. But, I still played the game. I stopped playing after an incident with being tricked into a trust trade. I still get pissed off to this day when people brag that years ago they scammed people and tricked people because Aj was so special to me. Even years later, I am too scared to trade with people online. Thanks to that incident, I saw how much AJ has changed. People used to not care as much about how rare items where, and people where excited about the adventure quests and stuff and the lore. But now the games all about trading. All about being rich. Being cool. You have to climb that latter and Wildworks forces a paywall over most of it so you cant truly enjoy the game. Ever since the partnership between National Geographic and Wildworks disbanded, Aj has been false advertising in a way. They claim everything is educational when they NEVER or even on rare occasions acknowledge the hidden bits of animal facts and knowledge. Most updates I remember in more recent years where just about new items and crap being released. They left the educational part in the dust. Its just a trading game now. Aj to me is a sour yet sweet childhood memory. I remember the whole thing with one of Wildworks workers daughters having cancer I think it was, and watching her grow up was cool. It was cool how niche the game was and how I can look back and remember this. I can bet you most people dont know the backstory to the Cami frog den beta. But now that item that has had such an important story behind it became just another rare to sell and people became greedy with it. Same can be said with other things. I didnt realize till now actually about the headdress ordeal and a few other racist items till someone else brough it up. Thanks for the video! I am still salty about AJPW I will never call AJ "classic" feels like an insult to old players but eh I dont play anymore
I hated the name change because it's just rude to older players and I still call 'aj' ajpw I don't play it anymore but I had some great memories I had fun
Not to mention the fact that the customer support literally ghosts you after they get tired of hearing your situation. It’s sad that it’s happened to me multiple times.
Personally I’m very sad that Fer.al was shut down, because I genuinely enjoyed the game and the fact it’s assets are being used in an NFT game makes me even more sad :( I wish Fer.al had grown into a better game.
I remember when the data breach was going on and I lost my account due to the fact I didn’t change anything since I was pretty inactive. Plus, when I tried reaching out about it to the help center (which took a week to respond) and basically said “Lol we can’t help you. Bye”. So I had to use a different account. That’s my experience and I’m no longer active on it anymore.
As a former AJ player, there are some things I want to say. When I was younger, Animal Jam was probably the 1st online social game that I've ever played. I'm not sure what made me play the game, but I can tell you that I admired it so much that I even wanted to become a vet at one point (emphasis on the wanted). I remember the loading screens when I would try the read the animal facts before it loaded completely. Idk at what time the leak happened, but at some point in 2018-ish, I tried to log in but it just said that I put in the wrong password. I got so sad that even my friend let me use her account, but at that point, I lost interest in the game without my account. I couldn't even hang out with some friend of mine named SpaceUnicorn that I met before I lost my acc. By then, I decided to move in into Roblox. Now after many years of not being in AJ, I feel disappointed in the company's lack of assistance with the players. It feels sad that Feral shut down , even though I've never played it before. (I think I got an invitation to the beta hidden somewhere in my mail, but I've never discovered it until it was too late) Heck, I've never thought that a company, whose job is to educate kids about animals and their environment, would create a NFT game. That's just messed up. I think this is all I got to say, so I'll let you be and continue with the rest the comments. - SnowflakeCutePuppy
I just recently began playing animal jam again after a long long time and this is just mind blowing to me how a game company that made things for children about nature could become involved in this NFT thing. I have decided to now stop playing animal jam for good. Wildworks is just not what it used to be and I miss having a good time with my buddies and making masterpieces but it’s dead to me now. Goodbye animal jam.
i agree with everything u said honestly, wildworks doesnt give 2 shits about its playerbase and wants the cash, i quitted aj because of getting hacked and aj not helping me at all and overall its a grinding trading type of game, i met one of my best of friends on aj im happy about that but i hate that they did all of those actions and going against its motto of helping the earth. and the fact they half assed fer.al and it had a good shot if they put time and effort into it.
Yeah. Tbh its kinda screwed up that players like me playing feral were being used as test subjects for an nft game. They basically admitted it at one point somewhere on the website. Hopefully cinder gets shut down. Oh wait they can't just shut it down because people paid hundreds of dollars for nfts. 🤷♀️🤦♀️ wonder what they'd do then lol.
I used to play animal jam when I was younger with friends, it was a large group that was 3 other groups and maybe more considering interconnections, we all ended up quitting because a few problems got too real and lives were at stake, most of us came back at the same time somehow (not having out of game connections) and we were disappointed in some of the changes that have befallen this once great game, it's not how it used to be, but at the same time it toys with our hearts how WildWorks could do such things, I haven't been the best player on the game, I've had my fair share of suspensions (rightfully so), but it really pains me to see them choose money over the molesters
No wonder wildworks went downhill, I just snagged the purple panda plush by Fiesta for 4.99 at a thrift store- Very nostalgic of when aj did those promo toys! I wish they would do that again, could probably save their company rather than working with nfts lmao
Did anyone else have the issue in Animal Jam of inconsistent art censorship? Because I remember I spent a few hours when I was still playing redrawing a panel from MHA but with Deku as a pony, but my art didn't get approved. Someone else drew the exact same panel(granted they just drew the panel without changes, so I can't say it was the exact same art) and was able to hang it in their gallery.
Hopefully someone makes private servers for AJ and Feral, alla toontown rewritten. That way prople can play the games still without supporting wildworks.
I wanted to make a game on Roblox similar to both games and it won't be supporting wildworks of course not being the best at scripting I will need some time to do it but it will be worth it
I used to play aj every day in 2020, I got bored after months so my mom bought me the membership and she bought me a new one every month, but when the accounts got hacked (in 2020) my acc got hacked and now I get a membership everymomth bc of the person that hacked me, witch is horrible bc I don’t even play and we are loosing $120 every year bc of that! Smh
Another problem I had with the game was I was trying to type omg a fork or sum but it turned into omg f**k. I was banned for a bit and my mom emails the workers and they where extremely rude the conversation went a bit like: Email: Jmeow has been banned for 7 days for typing cuss words in chat Mom: it was an accident please unban the account. Worker: even it was an accident we will not unban the account for another 7 days. Mom: it was an accident and my daughter loves the game, she will never do it again. Worker: no. We are not going to unban the account. That’s only what was in shorter text. It was worse and the worker was emailing a thesis statement and 3 reasons in the emails.
Tell your mom to email ajhq and to call her bank so she can report the transactions as fraud, or to get another credit card and cancel the old one since the aj acc got compromised
Im quite upset with Wildworks. Super glad Leamon talked about this! I dont play Feral, but I actually think it was a good idea to just sell Feral to another company. Its pretty sad to see that they focus more about the money rather than the community... Their company is about making fun games about the environment for children- absolute crap.
Just a random "fun" fact about the chat system, if you were ever suspended you can't say words that other players can and I was told by staff that the only way to fix this as I was suspended twice, once in 2017 and once in 2018 is to "spread positivity." This is ofc complete bs as I have spread nothing but positivity bc I hate confrontation ever since the second suspension and I STILL can't say basic words like come and trash. To make matters worse, I have social anxiety so it takes LOADS of effort to even just compliment someone, and what they're basically saying is I need to talk to dozens of people, which I can't do without pushing myself over the limit. So yea don't get suspended bc 3 years later it'll bite you in the ass Edit: Also just to get more out of their mouth then the stupid "don't say mean words uwu" it took me 3 emails, which isn't a lot until it takes them 3 hours to respond to each Edit 2: Apparently, the message was copy-pasted. So yea don't ever expect a real person to answer you.
Damn, after the data breach i didn't play a lot, after Flash went down i couldn't play at all. This year i finally got a notebook and went to play, but ALL my items where gone I messaged AJ but they just said there was nothing they could do I quit after, i had quite a lot of stuff- including a shark tail- and honestly i couldn't get myself to keep playing Thankfully there was a two year gap from since i played, so i didn't feel too bad, but it still hurt, i worked a lot for those being a non member
I'm actually really really sad. I'd been playing AJPW for about 2-3 years and nostalgia hits me like a bus whenever I think of the game. WildWorks really screwed up when it came to the other games and AJPW. They don't take consideration of ideas from their players, hardly try to respond when it comes to glitches, bugs, problems etc. And the major things like just stripping the spent money from Feral users?! With no warnings?! I was so interested in Feral, the whole thing and its sad to see that my absolute favorite childhood game had a huge downfall. They knew exactly what was going on and didn't care, they carried on to be money hungry. When you first look at Animal Jam, you'd see a fun educational, social and genuinely interesting game but it's not all peaches and cream when you realize that AJHQ had just a massive downfall, turning into the Money hungry people that most game companies become, it's sad to see, to say the least I think I'll stick to Minecraft for now💀
5:39 All three of my accounts were stolen and it devastated me, they all meant so much to me. Emojigirl29 (I think that was its name) was my first account made back when I was 7. Cookieajgo1 was my main account made when I was 8 or 9, I had many rares on there that I worked hard for and many close friends I would always play with. Pikachugyrl was an account I made with my cousin to show her how great I thought animal jam was at the time, we always goofed around on there. And yet, all of these accounts are lost now, and the memories that came with them are gone too.
I actually lost my account to the data breach, I was a bit old for the game at the time but my online best friend still played it so I did too, we actually met on there so the game meant a bit to us but one day I tried to log in and it kept saying my password was wrong and I didn't understand why, my online best friend told me a bit after that that there had been a data breach and some people lost their accounts I never got mine back unfortunately Luckily I had made a Discord account a few months before that happened to talk to my friend on there as just in case thing unfortunately i lost contact with my other friends but we still talk to this day heck I'm even talking to them as I'm typing this it really sucks what Wild Works has done though, the game meant a lot to me because that's were I met my best friend and started my love for story telling and art, me and my friend both had self insert characters that we would do stories with (we actually still use them) and we would do stories CONSTANTLY and that's kinda when I learned that I really love making stories, and when Master Pieces were released on Play Wild (the mobile version) I saw everyone else including my friend doing art and I immediately fell in love with art after that. I would love to make a webcomic, probably several one day and it's because of that game that I learned what I want to do so it honestly really really sucks to know that this game that had such a huge impact on my life is run by such crappy people
When wildworks announced cinder, i stopped playing AJ and feral. A week after that i deleted both games. I have played aj 5-6 years and i have had so many beautiful friends and i have gained a lot of nice memories. But after all this i think i am not able to continue. With heavy heart i say goodbye to the game of my childhood, and all my friends. Goodbye wildworks.
Ngl the reason why I quit playing it’s games and left the fandom/community completely is bc there was so much toxic and drama in the games now and the trading was out of control and stuff like that so I gave up on everything about it. Now that I see it’s downfall and stuff like that… I feel like I did the right choice to leave the community and stuff like this. I’m very glad I could come back to this channel though, you have grown so much since I’ve last watched you! I don’t think you quite remember me but I was a person named “Scilence” on there with some weird letters. It’s been around a year since I last played so I doubt you would remember me but that’s completely ok! And I also really love your drawings as well. Looks like they have improved a ton! 😁
// death mention / / / my grandma used to really love playing animal jam, so seeing how wildworks has fallen from grace makes me so genuinely upset. i remember when she passed from a stroke her animal jam account was left inactive, and for some reason animal jam classic has this really weird policy where if u dont log in for almost a year your account gets deleted completely-- so when i went to go log on her account for memories sake her account was gone completely,, and it sent me into more grieving. i miss her so much
This videos one hundred percent correct. I was being hacked multiple times in my account of five years. I changed my password and did everything AJ told me to do. I only once out of three months of non stop asking to fix this for a response that in short “there is nothing wrong with your account, please reset password if you keep having issues” I stopped playing. Just trying to come back to AJ and not pay for anything is a pain due to AJ basically pay to play. I was a beta tester for Feral, and loved it. I reported it being highly slow and buggy on my good computer and waited for the updates- updates that would have never come. I spent over a hundred to this money sucking company I had the displeasure of calling my “favorite” game.
When I got back into animal jam I was exited to go to the temple in the biome I forget the name of and play the interactive video of going though a swamp AND PICK ALL THE WRONG DECISIONS but soon as you know I was discouraged to see they removed the interactive video.
I was one of the people who technically lost their account due to not having the old email after the data breach. My account used like... An old email that my mum used, which she doesn't use anymore or knows the password to it. I tried emailing them about changing my email and they replied with going on some site to get my IP (?) So they can confirm it was me. And honestly, looking at how things were going, i wasn't gonna risk it for just maybe 10 minutes of gameplay on my old account. So yeah, there goes all the membership money down the drain
I would break if it did, because it's the only game that you can customize animals, have clothes, etc. So I would be so broken that it would be hard to move on
Man fr. I remember back as a kid, I used to message them on their Facebook account since I thought all email responses from them were automated. I was sending ideas for an arctic rabbit or hare, even with sketches and one of the people in charge of the account was so nice, complimenting it and talking about my old rabbit that kind of inspired the designs. Nowadays you don't get a response there and they'll only help you access your account via email if you buy membership through the store (not via gift cards)
wildworks: alright, so we have p...phile allegations here? jammer: yeah wildworks: do they give us money? jammer: i mean yeah they do have a membershi- wildworks: we arent banning them
I grew up with Animal Jam , lived on it for years and met a lot of cool people and had a lot of fun. I knew the game was starting to go downhill the moment they gave AJ youtubers sort of a hierarchy in the game, making them ultimate supreme while everyone forks over their rares and such for even a crumb of recognition. And the god awful updates that would roll around from time to time. I lost both my AJ accounts (Play Wild and Classic) during the security breach and I lost everything, it feels awful knowing I poured all my time and soul into this game, meeting people and trading and such, only to have it snatched away with the company doing nothing about it other than saying 'wuh woh sorry about that! better luck next time' and the only comfort given is that you can change your email to protect yourself. which. btw. if we're being completely honest won't stop anything from happening again. This was I think the second or third time AJ has had a data beach in the last 6 or 8 years. Completely messy company, Wild Works was never a company I fully felt like people could trust, handing these titles to people just because they have a large following and not doing background checks (*cough* the countless groomers, item sellers on ebay etc *cough*). It was fun while it lasted, and to see it go down like a burning ship is so saddening. They could've done so much to keep this thing afloat and NOT be greedy and money hungry. R.I.P to fellow ex-jammers who had their accounts stolen, deleted, or sold somewhere online during the breach
Mmmmmm I was one of the people who’s account with hundreds of dollars put into it over the years got stolen during the funny little hack I was genuinely upset and terrified and the stupid link didn’t even work so I never got my account back. I’ve moved on and honestly I’m glad to see they are getting what they deserve. AJ was nice while they lasted, but honestly there’s so much messed up stuff it’s better they just fall.
about the reset of email and password it really made me heartbroken because I used emails that don't exist anymore and all those years as a kid both the browser and play wild was completely lost...
I haven’t played animal jam regularly in years, maybe I’ll log on every other year for nostalgia’s sake but honestly it’s lost the charm it had. The game just feels kinda empty to me now and I’ve seen a lot of ppl who feel the same
I’ve played Animal Jam (PW) and Animal jam Classic since 2016, so basically PW a year after it released. Of course, I was young and the time and both games were very popular and MOST people seemed nice. I had dealt with one of those people, (I’m not comfortable with the word either) and they had ruined the game for me. Eventually, I had found new friends and i am still friends with them to this day, (except for one of them, they went inactive.) I had always played AJ 2016-2020 then I stopped playing for a while. I had moved to ROBLOX with my friends that I mentioned. Eventually, Feral had came out for the public and I started playing that for my childhood memories of AJ. And yes, I know FERAL is nothing like AJ. So I played it for about what? 1 to 2 months? I ran out of content. So for $10 USD o bough the Jack rabbit? I don’t remember the name but it was a rabbit. Thank GOODNESS that was all I spent and to me it was a lot of money. I have just started playing AJ (PW) again and most of my friends don’t play often, maybe they come on once every 3 days for 10 minutes, of course i can talk to them on tiktok or roblox though. It just makes me want to cry my eyeballs out how it will never be how it used to be, RUNNING home from school waiting to get on to play with my friends and talk about how our days were and play for HOURS. I miss it. I really do.
I started playing animal jam, i was obsessed i would log in everyday after school, this was back on 2016, everything was so fun to me, then in 2017 i stopped playing for about 3 years until 2020 for the pandemic in which it honestly wasn't the same but at least i made some friends right? They all quitted on 2021 and i was taking a break, then suddenly the whole cinder thing came out, and i no longer feel comfortable playing these games, rest in peace animal jam, you where a good after school distraction
I remember a couple years ago, I just couldn't log into my Aj classic or Ajpw account for a *month.* It was dreadful for me (because at that point I trusted Wildworks to help me out) I did eventually get my account back, but I lost a bit of trust for Wildworks..
I was 10 and saw Fer.al, I thought ooh that looks cool but you have to be at least 12 to play it. I'll wait then! And now, literally just when I'm about to turn 12, the game turns into Cinder and shuts down forever.
I lost my account and they refuse to give it back unless i pay for membership again. They won't send an Email to pass change in the parents email thing either. . They literally F***ed me over.
I thinkt there could be a bigger pause when you go from one topic to another, other thsn that you explained it all pretty well and i love your drawing! :3
There biggest mistake is not making you a jambassador yes yes I know you have made those videos but you are being honest and u have interesting content not like most jambassadors and your an amazing role model hopefully u will be jambassador soon
As n adult who went on aj-classic, i avoided kids 90% of the time because i know that's how the community thought of older folks. My reasoning for going on was 1. Dressing up avatars, i have always loved dress up games since i was a kid and still do. 2. the few times i did talk to people who were obviously either kids/teens, was always wholesome. What was funny though, the only time i ha alot of fun with role-playing, was literally jumping with a bunch of other on the chair in a castle saying "arrgh me hearty" and "arrrggh matey" some twat reported the word matey and hearty, neither of the words have harm in them. Since i wished to had been a teacher once upon a time, i had no problem going on aj classic; And always kept distance. So long story short, not every "older" person is a creep online, thought I'd pull you up on that. However, for the company and what they allowed is a complete disgrace, unfortunately, for someone who grew up with little to no rules on online games during dial-up speed. It is better than it used to when it comes to what some people allow.
Hope I can get a refund of my purchases on feral. So pissed that they’re shutting it down just to relaunch it as Cinder, and charge ppl ridiculous amounts to play it.
I only got hacked recently, fortunately for me I was awake that time and kept logging in and was able to take swift action to change my password and add 2 step verification and luckily no harm was done. animal jam isn't that great anymore it has basically turned into adopt me- a Roblox game that is overcome by rares and barely anyone wants to adopt you anymore this is animal jam accept replace the adopting with fun
This is sad AJPW was my childhood game that I enjoyed playing by the time I was a teenager I was excited for Feral and had the honor playing it. But over time lost interest bc there was hardly any new updates to fix or corrections for the game. It's really a shame bc I believe feral could have been an amazing game if it was truly given a chance...
6:00 IS THAT WHY MY OLD ACCOUNTS PASSWORD WAS RESET RANDOMLY??? BRUHH i literally cant get it back now. I tried so long to get it back. I emailed them back and fourth, giving them FAR more info than i should’ve, and they didnt let me reset the email and password bc i didnt give them my old IP address 😐 when I emailed them HOW MUCH INFO i gave them and how incredibly ridiculous it was but they stopped getting back to me.
I was waiting to become 13 (11 rn) so I can play Feral. But then I found out it got shut down! I was rather mad. I still play ajpw and the pc aj, (I don’t play Pc aj much.) both games I’ve played for years! I started playing when I was almost 5. I keep both games ever so close to my heart… And it makes me pissed off that WildWorks doesn’t work on the OG aj anymore. Thanks for your time, -Madhatter6910
I was wondering why I wasn’t able to log into my aj account after a year 🤔 One day I randomly decided to redownload animal jam and try to log into my account but i never could get into it. I tried every password I knew but still couldn’t get in. I remembered my user and pass and was confused on why it wouldn’t work. Im pretty sure I did fake my email whenever making the account since I was younger and didn’t have one I knew about. I never could get back in the account and was incredibly sad because that account had extremely valuable items and artwork that was very dear to me. Luckily I made an art den that displayed all my artwork but not being able to get into the account really made me gloomy. Decided to never play animal jam again after that lol
The groomers are a big problem I myself was groomed I was very young when I played aj and I didn't know it was wrong. I quit a few years ago but I know those groomers are still around
My personal opinion on this i say wild works is smart as heck for doing this business wise since if you look at the pattern so far i feel like cinder will be shut down eventually down the line this is just a get rich scam their gonna do the same thing they did to feral with cinder Hype it up as much as possible rack up all the money boom shut it down angry fanbase then onto the next big money maker i highly doubt their gonna keep this game around and focus on it longer like play wild because it just looks so sketchy when you look at how they treat their games i feel like these people buying nfts on cinder have no idea what's coming for them down the line once WW Is done with it after they get what they needed out of it isn't it kinda of odd they go for this one type of currency coincidence i think NOT especially when you look at their management on games once we see that steady cash flow start going down and less attention to cinder Boom shutdown bye Bye Just like feral.
Shutting down Cinder will make people even angrier because it is an nft game, and the nfts themselves aren't cheap, so that would very likely lead to multiple lawsuits. Probably wrong to say this, but i do really hope they get sued, and shut down. Karma's a b***h, and she's gonna get them hard for what they have done, and i'm all for it in all honesty.
@@Bonniethebunny but either way if it does get shut down in some way shape or form that would expose wild works fully i am really surprised half this stuff has not hit media yet it should be covered.
I hate this... aj was amazing but.. this hurts me I completely lost all access to my classic account. I still can't get into it. They changed my password and I didn't know how to get it back. NFTs should've never been a thing. It's straight theft in most cases and is generally not worth it. I hope that nfts crash one day. We don't need to add to our environmental problems right now especially
im really sad flash had to go because i use a Chromebook and i had a mouse pet in aj classic. the breach also made things worse because i cant remember my passwords and i never could sign in. :(
Both of my accounts were hacked and they both had all of my stuff (rainbow spike, blackouts spike, ice dragon wings, other items, and I had a cougar and other rare animals too) I worked for years to get these items and spent a lot of money on the accounts.
What happens if animal jam is not making enough for Wildworks? What they just gonna shut that down too?! I used to love this game but my opinion is changing.
My brother was hacked during the data breach, he lost all his pets (then he gave up and quit aj because he wasn’t playing that much anyway) but thankfully, I wasn’t hacked because if I was hacked my 3 years of hard work on AJ would be gone!
Tbh after I heard all about cinder and just over all the toxicity in aj I just cancelled my membership and stop playing the game entirely. I don't want to support wild works on any way. I did got back on for the dinosaur event but was very disappointed
Yeah there service is definitely bad..😳 One day i was going around jamaa doing a quite common glitch (wearing 2 head items at the same time, which sometimes merges the colors), and some moderator banned me for that! The only messages i got from the help said i was banned for using “hacks” and they wouldn’t be lifting it 🤡. What makes it worse is there are real hackers who don’t get banned..
It's not that we didn't want to listen what Clark Stacey had to say in regards to Cinder, it's just that... we gave him a chance to speak his mind, and in return our community got ghosted, abused and gaslighted. So uh... We have the right to be mad at WildWorks...
You need to pay so much money just to get access to the game 💀 Wildworks is so goofy just for this, it makes me so upset
(EDIT: Apparently they’re reopening on March 26th 2022, this year, only for one day… what is this meaning of this 💀 what is the purpose, what is the goal?!
Ikr
Yeah :(
I feel like in 2024 or 2026 Aj might close down and then Animal jam will only be focused on Cinder, If they do so ill be terribly upset since its my childhood and i spent alot on play wild, Or pay wild as i call it.
@@fartmaster101
Cinder is already dying since the NFT hype is slowly starting to calm down.
Wildworks be like: ''I don't care about the kids, I want the parent's money!''
A random jammer: I got abused can you band that jammer?
Wildworks: SCREW U KID NO that jammer gives us membership so we not blocking them.
And my little sister wanted a Dino, but I think 250 sapphires is expensive
WILDWORKS IN WW3: Let's Become a Nazi Game Conpany LOL
Yes so right!
@@ondine2008 yeah
YES! I didn't notice it as a child, but the way they handled the headdresses was awful. Just taking a controversial item and driving it to the top of the desires of their young audience.
wait, what?? can someone elaborate on the racism in the headpieces? what race were they targeted towards, and is it still up today?
C'mon wild works, you can just do better than this.
tldr
Same lol
I still play after that though!
And... They said feral is shutting down just because an nft game..
I uninstalled animal jam and stopped supporting them eventually..
Ok... Thats just rude...
That's just stupid, how dare animal jam!

I'm glad I've only financially supported them once.
Several completely safe words kept getting blocked and censored, and since I had actually had conversations with their customer service team before about previous issues, I messaged them just kind of going -
"Hey! I know this is a kids' game, but I'm noticing there's a lot of censorship over various words and letters, like those relating to the lgbtq community, as well as completely innocuous words like 'sus' that some players can say and others can't. Can you explain why this is?"
It was a very arbitrary thing in the first place. They replied back initially linking to the help article. I responded back, "The articles have no explanation, I have already checked them - I wouldn't have wasted your and my time if this question could be answered by the article."
Their reply was a vague "You get to say more words by being a positive influence in the community." ...
There’s are literally 8 year olds on that game who don’t need to be exposed to many stuff they should probably know about later on, whatever I said sounds homophobic but… this whole thing is kinda messed up imo sorry-
Although the other stuff is quite understandable
i agree with everything else but tbh they arent homophobic or lgbtphobic kids arent exactly supposed to be introduced into the community this early on, i hope this doesnt sound weird but yeah i understand them.
still, screw wildworks
@@pur0. y e p
But even if I wanted to log in, I lost my account to the data breach I’m assuming, so ehhh.
bruh feral was my dream game… play as a mythical and majestic animal on a screen? yes, but they just had to take it away.
Agree. Cinder avatars are butt ugly
I have been playing animal jam for 5 years. Several of the items I owned were limited edition and very rare. I had a membership and owned all of the best dens, artwork, and ocs. Then, one day, I went to log onto my account and it was just… not there. I emailed animal jam and was like-
Me: “Hey, where’s my account?”
AJ: “What account?”
Me: “…the one I pay $100 every year for?.
AJ: “It’s not in our databases.”
Me: “Tf..? Okay, well, can you transfer my stuff into a different account? I have the credit cart information to prove it was mine.”
AJ: “…”
AJ: “Lol nah.”
And I still don’t have my account back. A ton of beta, rare, and one-of-a-kind items and amazing artwork by other jammers are lost forever.
That’s why I hate wildworks 😀
I haven't actually played AJ in years, but still, there are many problems and were back then. I'm still upset at them for taking down Feral, even though I never played it :/
The hacking problem was probably why my account was deleted, bc I can't log in, and ik 100% what my password was.
The same thing abt the hacking thing happened to me i think and yea I am also upset Abt them taking down feral
Me too I lost my old account and I had that account since I was like 7 :( and I spent so much money on it too…
I played Animal Jam pc since 2016 and it was so lighthearted and fun
I made a bunch of friends on there
Even discovered a few of the jambassders
Than well....
When the leak happened that's when I lost all trust in wildworks and I stopped playing AJ
I tried to log on for updates but it just wasn't as fun as it was anymore.
Glad there's people talking about this
Thank you

They shut down FerAl on my Birthday
A weird jammer tried to date me and when i reported, it was my account that got suspended
AJHQ told me to change my username because it sounds like a jambassador's user smh
I started playing AJ Classic when i was 5 and now it hurts seeing Wildworks doing these things :(
What was your user?
A bonus point;
The "eco friendly" Blockchain Clark was raving about?
Barely any better than ETH, like it's one of those "pretty on paper" numbers that's actually pretty much just as bad
Bahaha greenwashing go brrrrr
I'm annoyed because I pulled an all-nighter to finish it 💀
i saw my neighbor playing cinder and it makes me sad.
Wait people play cinder
@@LeamonPuppy yeah, and it makes me super sad because the game sucks.
@@LeamonPuppy unfortunately bahah
@@LeamonPuppy Yes, people play Cinder, sadly.
WHAT NUUUUUU
Yeah, they really need to stop with the nfts..
Ikr. Aj is slowly becoming worse :(
Can’t wait to see an episode of “Coperate Casket” about Wildworks.

Sad but true hope u all stay safe✨❤
I was banned for a bit and my mom emails the workers and they where extremely rude the conversation went a bit like:
Email: Jmeow has been banned for 7 days for typing cuss words in chat
Mom: it was an accident please unban the account.
So yea don't get suspended bc 3 years later it'll bite you in the ass
Edit: Also just to get more out of their mouth then the stupid "don't say mean words uwu" it took me 3 emails, which isn't a lot until it takes them 3 hours to respond to each
Edit 2: Apparently, the message was copy-pasted. So yea don't ever expect a real person to answer you.
That sounds like A 1 star waiting to happen.
Damn, after the data breach i didn't play a lot, after Flash went down i couldn't play at all. This year i finally got a notebook and went to play, but ALL my items where gone
I messaged AJ but they just said there was nothing they could do
I quit after, i had quite a lot of stuff- including a shark tail- and honestly i couldn't get myself to keep playing
Thankfully there was a two year gap from since i played, so i didn't feel too bad, but it still hurt, i worked a lot for those being a non member
When you first look at Animal Jam, you'd see a fun educational, social and genuinely interesting game but it's not all peaches and cream when you realize that AJHQ had just a massive downfall, turning into the Money hungry people that most game companies become, it's sad to see, to say the least
I think I'll stick to Minecraft for now💀

All three of my accounts were stolen and it devastated me, they all meant so much to me.
I actually lost my account to the data breach, I was a bit old for the game at the time but my online best friend still played it so I did too, we actually met on there so the game meant a bit to us but one day I tried to log in and it kept saying my password was wrong and I didn't understand why, my online best friend told me a bit after that that there had been a data breach and some people lost their accounts I never got mine back unfortunately
Luckily I had made a Discord account a few months before that happened to talk to my friend on there as just in case thing unfortunately i lost contact with my other friends but we still talk to this day heck I'm even talking to them as I'm typing this
it really sucks what Wild Works has done though, the game meant a lot to me because that's were I met my best friend and started my love for story telling and art, me and my friend both had self insert characters that we would do stories with (we actually still use them) and we would do stories CONSTANTLY and that's kinda when I learned that I really love making stories, and when Master Pieces were released on Play Wild (the mobile version) I saw everyone else including my friend doing art and I immediately fell in love with art after that.
I was involved in predatory and gr\\ming activity. 2 years ago. It was on AJ classic, user was Kainen6. I want to forget about it badly.

my grandma used to really love playing animal jam, so seeing how wildworks has fallen from grace makes me so genuinely upset. i remember when she passed from a stroke her animal jam account was left inactive, and for some reason animal jam classic has this really weird policy where if u dont log in for almost a year your account gets deleted completely-- so when i went to go log on her account for memories sake her account was gone completely,, and it sent me into more grieving. i miss her so much
This videos one hundred percent correct.
As a person who retired from Animal Jam years ago, this was shocking. I never played Feral, but it's still sad to see it go.
Me too!
I went through the SAME EXACT THING.
I just really hope Wildworks doesn’t shut down AJPW.
I would break if it did, because it's the only game that you can customize animals, have clothes, etc. So I would be so broken that it would be hard to move on
I remember in around 2014-2016 AJHQ had really good customer service, but ever since that peak of animal jam it’s just gone downhill.
Nowadays you don't get a response there and they'll only help you access your account via email if you buy membership through the store (not via gift cards)
wildworks: alright, so we have p...phile allegations here?
jammer: yeah
wildworks: do they give us money?
jammer: i mean yeah they do have a membershi-
wildworks: we arent banning them
I grew up with Animal Jam , lived on it for years and met a lot of cool people and had a lot of fun.
Mmmmmm I was one of the people who’s account with hundreds of dollars put into it over the years got stolen during the funny little hack
I was genuinely upset and terrified and the stupid link didn’t even work so I never got my account back.
I feel like every kids game is like this like Roblox,StarStable as a minor I feel unsafe in child games
I was 10 and saw Fer.al, I thought ooh that looks cool but you have to be at least 12 to play it. I'll wait then!
And now, literally just when I'm about to turn 12, the game turns into Cinder and shuts down forever.
LOL I Became 12 IN 12/23/21
I lost my account and they refuse to give it back unless i pay for membership again.
They won't send an Email to pass change in the parents email thing either.
.
They literally F***ed me over.
the chat filter didn't let me type "ya" for 5 minutes because apparently agreeing too a coversation is innapropiate.
Brooo.. Pokemon's service IS SO NICE!
I was having an issue with my logging in and I think it was Troy or Trey that helped me out at 2am.
At this point if anyone wanting to play their NFT game does just a little research into the company I garntee it will turn many away
I only got hacked recently, fortunately for me I was awake that time and kept logging in and was able to take swift action to change my password and add 2 step verification and luckily no harm was done.
animal jam isn't that great anymore
it has basically turned into adopt me- a Roblox game that is overcome by rares and barely anyone wants to adopt you anymore
this is animal jam accept replace the adopting with fun
update- nvm i got hacked and lost some stuff and my first pet
This is sad AJPW was my childhood game that I enjoyed playing by the time I was a teenager I was excited for Feral and had the honor playing it.
But over time lost interest bc there was hardly any new updates to fix or corrections for the game.
It's really a shame bc I believe feral could have been an amazing game if it was truly given a chance...
6:00 IS THAT WHY MY OLD ACCOUNTS PASSWORD WAS RESET RANDOMLY??? BRUHH i literally cant get it back now. I tried so long to get it back. I emailed them back and fourth, giving them FAR more info than i should’ve, and they didnt let me reset the email and password bc i didnt give them my old IP address 😐 when I emailed them HOW MUCH INFO i gave them and how incredibly ridiculous it was but they stopped getting back to me.
oof i am sorry for you
i cant believe after all these years i never knew Hyenine1 was a groomer. i looked up to them because of their art, now im just dissapointed
Me Too, But I'm One Year Older Than You.
I hate this... aj was amazing but.. this hurts me
I completely lost all access to my classic account.
I returned to ajc after a while and was surprised by how dead the worlds were.
What happens if animal jam is not making enough for Wildworks? What they just gonna shut that down too?! I used to love this game but my opinion is changing.
I agree! Thank you for spreading information :)
My brother was hacked during the data breach, he lost all his pets (then he gave up and quit aj because he wasn’t playing that much anyway) but thankfully, I wasn’t hacked because if I was hacked my 3 years of hard work on AJ would be gone!
Omg this was on my recommendations and I have popcorn it's perfect timing
big thank you for making this video but still i hope shuting down feral is just a stupid joke...
Yes, thank you so much for discussing this leamon
Tbh after I heard all about cinder and just over all the toxicity in aj I just cancelled my membership and stop playing the game entirely. I don't want to support wild works on any way.
I did got back on for the dinosaur event but was very disappointed
"You can become any animal you like"...
Then why is (almost) everything SAPPHIRES??
+ I cannot become a direwolf just beacuse I AM NOT OG on AJPW.
I totally agree with you!
The chat filter is horrible, but better then roblox lol 😅
And the hacking is just-
Wild works really needs to stop
