Not sure how realistic GTA is on this one, but keeping the engine revved up so that the pressure within the exhaust will prevent flooding of the engine is actually a thing commonly used with tanks and several civilian off-road vehicles . The Leopard 2 can get through 4m deep water by sticking a long tube on top of it and feeding the engine fresh air from the inside of the vehicle.
GTA ain’t that realistic, you can put a snorkel on certain vehicles and they’ll flood at the same depth as if it weren’t there. Have you seen the WW2-ish versions that are just a big piece of pipe? If your tank can’t snorkel, you’re gonna have a bad time. See Russia and Ukraine’s need to build bridges under fire because those tanks weren’t maintained well enough to use the ones that were designed for them. Germany’s leopards are also shittily maintained, so we’ll see if they can do that. Would be a bit of a game changer, though probably not as much as it would seem. Still gotta get infantry across with the armor so it doesn’t get insta-pen’d on the other bank.
The pee car had a snorkel, and I feel it should have gotten further.
This is something I was thinking too. I remember riding my motorbike through a flooded road so deep that it submerged the entire bike and it didn't flood the engine. Granted it was only fully submerged for about 10 seconds, but it came out perfectly fine. It wasn't a scrambler bike either, it was a low-rider.

@@froheschwanz I dont know how you went off on that tangent but GTA does indeed include somewhat realistic flooding mechanics. When you stop your car in water, you do increase the likelihood of flooding your engine in GTA.
My day is always made listening to Gray go, "What is THAT?!?!?!" with increasing levels of panic.

That is what kept annoying me...he kept stopping to look at how deep he was...not very bright

Tbh, and this is probably an unpopular opinion, but I started getting a little bored with them awhile ago. I still watch cause I love and support Gray, but yea, I mean there's an amount of entertainment for me still too but I wish he would go back into playing indie games like house flipper and beamng or universim and like actually dive into those games the way he used to and combine it with his humor now.

Darth Alex goes beyond what I've ever considered possible for this game. GTA has a limited number of items and ways to use them and the game physics, but as this madman has shown us not only can these things be combined in incredible ways, reality itself is no longer beyond his reach.

Obsession is an understatement with your legendary completion on these crazy ass boards. Both you and Alex so deserve some kind of recognition in competitive gaming and development.
Fun fact, in GTA the exhaust of vehicles (unmodded) are what determines if the vehicle floods out. If they are flagged as in water you stall after a set time.

7:37 This is THE bike that should make it. If you are cautious about flooding, then you should know if your air intake on the vehicle is slurping water. If you are close on drowning it, pedal to the metal, don't stop like Gray did every F time... On this bike it's those 3 holes at the top, which some tuned muscle cars have. The logic in this game sometimes...

the way GTA5 handles vehicles stalling is where the exhaust is placed on the vehicle not the engine, so a semi would be able to go around 10 feet deep and still work fine
