He wants everything to be about him and lets remember thats the first time rachel has something of hers, a carreer she likes. And ross instead of being supportive makes it all about him and tries to make her feel bad for finally having some success. I honestly cant stand ross , his character aged poorly
@@AnatoleVGC His character hasn't aged poorly because for there to be a show there has to be these things called conflicts for people to be invested in, and for there to be these conflicts to exist there have to be these things called character flaws to create them, and when a character is flawed the point of the show is often not that the character is right or good. and I shouldn't have to point this out but I feel I'm going to have to, characters with some unlikable qualities or some unlikable actions are not necessarily bad characters. Since when has Rachel not been supportive of Ross's career? She's just not interested in dinosaurs, as are not the other friends either. They always make jabs about it. But she NEVER has tried to ruin or got Ross to quit his job. Ross on the other hand, unfortunately, was right from the start against Rachel getting a job that she loves. 9:45 I relate. When I first watched this episode, I was reading Little women and had been avoiding the movies and any kind of spoilers. So I had to cover my ears. Then when I finished the book and watched the 2019 movie (an excellent movie by the way), I could rewatch this episode.
The bathroom thing with Chandler is a meet cute for him in Fools Rush In with Selma Hayek. It's a cute movie with a somewhat more mature "Chandler". His real father plays his father too.
When Joey is "spoiling" The Shining for Rachel he references the twins in the hallway and the "All work and no play make Jack a dull boy" line. However, neither of them appear in the book. Phoebe's singing partner Leslie is played by Elizabeth Daily, who was also the dubbed singing voice in Phoebe's music video for Smelly Cat in an earlier episode. Furthermore, the music playing during the commercial is a sped up version of the backing singers from Phoebe's music video.
Thank you. I did a double-take when those details were mentioned. I tried to give the writers the benefit of a doubt that maybe I was recalling the wrong details. But, nope... That just shows how lazy and obnoxious the writers got, which is why the show aged so badly in so many ways. 🙄

Ok, I'm probably gonna get a lot of hate for this...but I don't think Ross was as annoying and as bad a boyfriend as everyone claims...(although him sleeping with someone immediately after the break was bad) but I'm talking before he does that. Yes is not Rachel's fault that he is insecure because of Carol and that is dumb that he doesn't trust her but I mean is not like Rachel has been super trustworthy, she did sleep with her ex-fiance who was engaged at that time. And if it was Ross always hanging out with some coworker she'd probably be jealous too. People who claim his jealousy was out of hand are lying to themselves like they wouldn't get as jealous. People just like to hate Ross. I've even read posts in the past of people calling out Ross as homophobic for how he treats Carol and Susan but what!? He walked Carol down the aisle even though she cheated. And isn't funny how in the next episode she has no time for him because of work but immediately after the breakup, she has nothing but time to make the friends at odd with each other. Plus also Ross was right, Mark was interested in Rachel. The show also always makes Rachel sympathetic whenever she is secretly in love with Ross even though she actively ruins a lot of his future relationships and him a loser that isn't over her when he is again in love with her and he keeps it to himself a lot of the times. Idk I just think he gets a lot of unjustifiable hate, some of the hate is justifiable and some are not.
