Che bei ricordi avendola cantata col nostro coro polifonico, in abiti Rinascimentali. Il brano è malizioso. 😊 Il pretendente, nella canzone, era tedesco quindi sbagliando pronuncia, anziché: "Madonna mia cara" diceva: "Matona". Ovviamente Madonna era riferito alla donna e non era il riferimento sacro.

+Andrea Scalia (Andrea81) I had a very good Italian recording of this work years ago and the tempo was brisk with a good translation. It was zestily and robustly sung. I can't see how a conductor could possibly take this slowly, if one imagines a lusty young man, stumbling over his Italian in his haste to get to the lovely lady in question. The Renaissance was a gutsy time!
