What I like about these Japanese models is the fact that they are decades old but still affordable. I'd love to see a video of you ordering a guitar from Japan just to show us some stores and how it all works.
So you're telling me I have to order that guitar that has been sitting on my watch list just because the people need a video for ordering from Japan??? I guess out of the goodness of my heart and ONLY that I can probably make it happen. LOL I agree, the affordability is the key. I recently sold of a few thousand dollars in gear to try and consolidate into a single more expensive guitar... I checked into any of the USA vintage stuff and the market is just nuts. I could get a pretty worn 70's deluxe gold top or a bunch of other guitars with issues. Or I could get a Tokai, 3 Burny's and a choice Greco. In the end I actually bought an Orville and 2 Gibsons from Thomann at silly inexpensive prices.
I check them often as well! Great prices as well. Thomann has had more of the stuff I was looking for but Musicstore.de still has a few hard to find ones like the Les Paul Less+ that guitar talks to me in my sleep!
That new head stock is on the last very few Burny's made in Japan. I have the new head stock and it is 100% Japanese. I found out that the Japanese are very honest.
Hunter does killer videos man. Just wait for a year from now when he has 40,000 subs and a signature model in the works. It will not surprise me in the least!
Nick did something super nice for me a couple of years ago that will affect me for the rest of my life by helping me find my dream Les Paul guitar and selling it to me at a super price!!! He is a great guy.
I have a 75 Ibanez custom. I changed the tuners and pickups. It's amost 49 years old, it plays like a dream. The binding is flawless and tight. Everything is solid. It's not as good as my gibson. It is chambered, it does not sustain quite as long, and clean, it has no chance against my gibson. But I love it. It's just fun to play and cranked,it sounds fantastic. I just love the character of it. They are rare and vintage and are now selling for 5 times what I paid in the early eighties.
I'm surprised you didn't mention the Burny LPs with a sustainer system or the Floyd Rose whammy bar. I just got my first one in 2022 with those features and it's a phenomenal guitar. First heard about them from Steve Hackett, from the original lineup of Genesis. The sustainer allows a note(s) to go on forever - it's guitar heaven.
I bought one just like that in Japan back in 1983. Regretfully, I sold it and a Tobacco Sunburst Standard to fund a pointy guitar in the late 80's. The Custom does not have a maple cap though. Burny/Fernandes made them exactly like Gibson with the exception of the ebony fretboard and abalone fret inlays. Mahogany cap and back.
I just bought a Burny that was made in Japan. The product number is 115 and it was made in early 2000's. The 115 and the 105's were made in small numbers. It has the VH1 pickups like the one you are holding. Heavy perfect guitar that reminds me of my 1969 Les Paul Custom. I like this Burny better than any of my Gibson Les Paul's. Hot day playing an arts festival I will play my Studio of Standard. Weight relief is what it's all about.
I had my girl friend hire me to play in her band for the late show. She has two large bands. Brass section and other wild stuff. The guy for the main show never showed so I did the first show with the better players. The Burny is the maniac of the Les Paul world. My solos took off, the Paul McCartney song Let me roll it has that constant little rift. This thing grows it out. I am thrilled with it. eBay deal at a no other bids and it became mine for $298.00, they sell for much more. It came today and I bought it late Monday night. Shipping was $120.00, that scares people off some time. I think I told you but I will tell you again, it was made in the very early 2000's. Model RCL 115 and it is made Japan for sure. They said the numbers are low because few were made, not a common Burny number and that freaked people off. Amazing guitar and thank you for tuning me on to these . I heard of them and the others but you gave the 411 that did the gas problem. I thank the Nick and I am pleased you are in the States.
Nick in the States I played in front of 900 party goers last night. That Burny is now my favorite guitar. I was going to take my Gibson Standard but the Burny talked to me. It really has a soul and does amazing things.
Thank you, I knew next to nothing about them. Some call them Bunny's so I had a hard time finding them at first. That looks so much like my 1969 custom, it was a ton. My friend bought that and my 1965 335 , he named his own price. He came up short on money and returned it. I like your videos a bunches, I always get a lot of 411 from them. A popular off brand that I fell in to are Jay Turser guitars. I can't find bad press on them any place. I bought a Red 335 copy that we call the Happy Red Guitar, people play and it is a mood elevator. I have their rose wood telecaster, I changed the pickups, electronics, nut, bridge and tuners only because I had them and that is the way I roll. I have a EVH Wolfgang with stock SD pickups. I have their Jaguar and a SD rails is in the bridge pup spot. Most all of the stuff I did was no needed, check them out Nick you will be surprised at the price and just how great they are. Good week end! Kev
I've owned a couple of Tursers over the years. What I found was that if you picked up 5 or 6 of them and played them you'd find one that just had some sort of magic to them. I the got all snobby about gear and went only Gibson and Fender for a while. Now that I'm back to enjoying the cheap seats over the last 4 or 5 years I should probably check them out again.
I can see why the Big G blew their stack on this one! I've seen these online, but never held/played one. The Japanese guitars, for the most part, are supreme quality. That Burny is a very nice looking and sounding piece. Very similar look to my 80's Conn LP Supreme copy. I love how the binding has aged to a sweet yellow. Sounds like that Burny is as heavy as my '96 LP Standard. Mine feels like a boat anchor it's so heavy. Very hard on the shoulder after a few hours playing standing up. Great review as usual and enjoyable way to spend my lunch break :-)
Tooo heavy is the correct term, I was playing an arts festival over the last weekend. After one hour I had to put Burny in the case. I brought my Strat with the Lace Sensors pups. The Strat was like air in my hands for the next two hours. If I had to play the Burny the rest of the day I would love felt like I had polio. Setting down with it is better but my legs fall to sleep.
I have A late 80's Burny les Paul custom, it amazes me how the parts are almost identical to GIBSON from the truss rod nut to the binding over the frets, it came with sweet Gotoh tuners, I've owned 5 GIBSON customs except for the logo u can't tell the difference ..
I’m trying to decide between buying one of these or a gipson les paul tribute T. I’m unsure because of some bad reviews I have read of gipsons last models. Thanks
beautiful burny,i want one so badly(or an orville, greco, edwards, tokai) i owned a 69 les paul for 20 years, loved it but it had the nasty breaking headstock issue which sucked.
can't believe only 177 views on this. These Burny les pauls outperformed the real thing in my opinion. I owned one and as a result ended up with real Les Pauls that never got played. A Burny should be a couple hundred bucks at most; I paid 200 back in the day.
We're at almost a thousand views now! LOL They've shot up in price though. $500 to start for a set neck Japanese one and then onwards and upwards from there.
Very nice! - Also, that Wolf Rickenbacker copy you had not so long ago, do you know anywhere that sells them that might ship to the UK? i literally can't find any at all.
These are pretty easy to find in Sweden actually, tried some of them and they seem good. Most of the ones I've tried are a bit too banged up though, some big chunks missing that I just didn't like.
There are plenty of later (1987+ Dyna Gakki made) "winged TRC" and "lightning bolt" RLC 60/65/70s on the market but the early split diamond models only show up once or twice a year somewhere in the world by now (2019), sometimes they are actually lightning bolts reworked to split diamond and yes, many of them are pretty beaten up or have the the actually very meticulously cloned vintage PAF (L8000) PUs swapped for some hotter ones.
I have a couple of modern Burny SG's.... i believe they are still actually made in Japan but assembled in China... either way i dont really care as the ones i have are flawless...its not very often these days that i feel compelled to buy the same thing twice... i have no problem doing that with Burny, if i want a new guitar they are the first company i look at.
Thanks for this channel, Nick! I was in Tokyo a couple of years ago and had fun going through the guitar stores, looking for a Holy Grail black Les Paul Custom to sneak back with me, but came home empty handed. I do have two Tokai Les Pauls (one Chinese red Custom, one Korean tobacco burst) I bought through the net. While on Tokyo I actually saw one used Japanese Les Paul that was advertised on U.S. ebay in a store ... of course a few hundred dollars cheaper there! I have to say my favorite "Gibson inspired" electrics are the Greg Bennett series ... check out an Avion AV6 or AV7 grade sometime. Out of production, but great used deals online and very high quality.
It's coming!!! Sorry, some unexpected calamities (recorded 6 videos one day only to discover the the mic crapped out every 25 seconds) have caused a delay in its recording. SOON! It will definitely be up before the end of Japanuary.
I sanded down my 1982 Burny LP custom. Mine did not have a maple cap. It was all mahogany. The heel on the neck is a 2 piece. The body is also a 2 piece with Mahogany veneer front and rear. Love my Burny over my 2013 Gibson Standard. and yes I can see this is 5 year old post.
I just traded a guy for one of these in Alpine white with the Floyd rose trem and sustainer pick up what an absolutely amazing high quality guitar. I traded him a Indonesian Jackson Adrian Smith model that I didn’t not care for one bit and a chibson less Paul that I bought which was a zero compared to this Burny. This Burny is actually better than most Gibson Les Paul’s. I have played totally totally stoked, i just don’t know what year it is and model
Common oversimplifications: 1. nitro laquer is "plastic" too but lacks all of the advantages of more modern finishes. 2. There is poly_ester and poly_urethane. Throwing those into the same basket is bad. This is polyurethane. Polyurethane (PUR) is usually not much thicker than NC but much more reliably doing its job of protecting the wood and sturdy enough to not develop cracks and "self-relicing". The PUR clear coats are nicely yellowing/darkening and getting less glossy with time like NC but it takes longer. Polyester (PE) is the thick stuff everyone is frowning upon as "plastic" (see 1.). It will look like new forever, apart from the ugly big chips usually falling off the wood if you smash it into something.
Nice, a Burny is on my wish list.Love to have one in a light cream. Steve Jones of The Sex Pistols endorsed and played them for a few years. Them Gibson came out with a custom shop model of the LP Custom he used in the Sex Pistols and I believe gave one to Steve Jones.
I have a 72' Raven Les Paul copy; has a plate in the back where the neck attaches that reads "Made in Japan". Are you familiar with these guitars, Raven's that is...if so, can you provide me with some info on them?
They're probably one of the many Fujigen or Matsumoko (sp?) built guitars from the 70's. There were loads of them with a plethora of names. I think some US shops just ordered them with their own brand names. They're still pretty inexpensive but people love them.
Just like all my Japanese Epi's Nick. The Japanese make the top stock. Both Gibson & Fender were pissed that the stuff coming back was better than they were making... or at least as good. Btw where you been ?
Nick in the States Good stuff. Glad you & family had a good, Northern Hemisphere, summer. I saw the photos and you're a lucky man - you look like you've got a great family & (apart from guitars of course - jesting) that's what it's all about. Good stuff !!
Very reliable. Each time great communication and shipped immediately. Yuma (Ookini55 proprietor) seems like a very honest guy. And you can't go wrong having 50 plus pictures from every angle.
Exactly... and it's very transparent tone wise. I was using my Mesa Blue Angel for my demo amp but that makes EVERYTHING sound good... and also sound sort of similar. Great if gigging but not as good for videos.
It seems like all reviews on these guitars people rave but they sound like a $200 les Paul. Usually do saturation with distortion that it could be any cheap guitar. Wanna hear a great les Paul copy demo...look up Eastman sb59
Very true! It was because Ibanez was the only one with the gumption to try and export to the states. But the rest of the guitars from this era are usually referred to as lawsuit guitars or lawsuit era guitars.
It varies, early to mid 80s are rather below 10lbs (mine is 8.6lbs), generally the higher grade MIJ LP clones tend to be (much) lighter than their contemporary Gibby counterparts, often in the range of their vintage originals.
Hi @@gerdpfeil the serial is under the bridge pickup. My actual guitar is here. I bought it form CC in Glasgow. You can see in one of the pictures the serial number. reverb.com/uk/item/3357363-burny-rlc-70-60-1992-black-les-paul-custom-rare-left-handed?locale=en-GB I bought it in the shop for £560 so I consider it a bargain. :-) Fenandez didn't make any of their guitars. This one has the same "orange" toggle switch as the Orville buy Gibson guitars so may have been made in the same factory but it is anyone's guess if it was a Terada or FujiGen because both Orville and Burny were made at the same time in the same factory. Anyway, It plays great and that is all that matters :-)
I have catalogs from Sam Ash, Guitar Center, Sweetwater, etc, with Gibson Les Paul's from $1,200 to $7,000. Where do these $500-$800 Fernandes Guitars fit on that spectrum? Meaning, closer to the $1,200 or closer to the $7,000?
Provided you talk about the early 80s Burny RLCs, they are a bit special because they are closer to the original 1957-60 specs than anything Gibson made at that time, or since 1968 (and also closer than most other MIJ clones of the LP-C). It took Gibson like 20 more years until they came up with true reissues of their ownLP Custom, and that's upper class CS $6,000. Still, those are new guitars and an old Burny RLC is now 35+ years old, older than the original guitars they cloned back then. You decide at what place you want to sort them in.
I've got a Burny Les paul Black Custom with the "lightning bolt diamond" headstock (with a sustainer) , i checked in the Fernandès catalog but i haven't found any clue to date or be sure of where it has been made. Does any one has a clue?
I picked up a pre-owned Burny LPC on CL. It was advertised as MIJ and I didn't do my HW. It's a really nice guitar but I paid a MIJ price for a MIC Burny ... which means I pretty much overpaid by double.
What were the import duties and tax? AND... for all those asking who the seller is... I had to search through this thread to find Nick telling someone... Ookini55 is the seller. Did a search on ebay (advanced>by seller>check box>enter seller ID)... Easy Peasy!!! :)
a real beauty !!! But How many guitars is enuf ????? The real question is how many guitars would I own if I were single and ........... where would I be living ??? In a apt with 22 guitars , 7 amps and my dog ..... oh ,,, and a van to get to the gigs .... alone
I have this guitar! 1980's Burny RLC60 with a set of ReWind Low Output PAF's! The guitar has been refretted with taller frets and all hardware/electronics have been upgraded... I absolutely love this guitar now! Playability and tonally. Check out the tone below! Jungle Fiction - John Scofield (Live Cover): ruclips.net/video/EQ4NJzpMbh4/видео.html Since I've Been Loving You - Led Zeppelin (Live Cover): soundcloud.com/jameslebios/led-zeppelin-since-ive-been-loving-you-live-cover
Im paying for a rlg 70 in few days its lemon drop from early 90s the closest ive played to a real 59 les paul.without the logo you can never tell its not a real 59 les paul.haahaa i will make a video asap .👍⚘⚘🎸🎸🎸🔥😊
Good review, although your amp sounds a bit crappy, unfortunately disregarding the real pontential of this guitar. These old Burny's sound very very tasty, they are extraordinarily well made and yes, they are really heavy. Steve Hackett played one in the good old days of Genesis and maybe that's the reason why he used to sit on a chair during the shows instead of standing. If you are looking for non overprized LP Custom go for these burny's. They are worth a try!
I had a lawsuit Japan telecaster named Dixon in the early 80s and I've never ever seen another. If you or anyone has please let me know. I might've traded away a high priced guitar
Nick in the States thats what my 68-72 aria looks like but my aria is hollowed out in the body. sounds like when you strum a semi hollow. the pickups are alnico 5 and are amazing. I dig the low frets you cant accidentally sharpen any notes. im torn about a refret in the future but the guitar is great especially considering its been to Morocco and was bought in madrid now resides in canada. best 300 I ever spent
What I like about these Japanese models is the fact that they are decades old but still affordable. I'd love to see a video of you ordering a guitar from Japan just to show us some stores and how it all works.

Musicstore is great and their store in Cologne is very impressive. Before Thomann became so big, they were the number one in Europe for decades.
That new head stock is on the last very few Burny's made in Japan. I have the new head stock and it is 100% Japanese. I found out that the Japanese are very honest.
Eyyyy 4K subs!!!! The guitar's pretty cool too haha
Thanks man! You'll be there VERY quickly, which is awesome!
Agufish.....Just sub'd to your channel. Nice production quality on your videos. Keep up the good work.
Hunter does killer videos man. Just wait for a year from now when he has 40,000 subs and a signature model in the works. It will not surprise me in the least!
Nick in the States I agree, greatness in the making 🎸
Y'all making me blush 😳
Nick did something super nice for me a couple of years ago that will affect me for the rest of my life by helping me find my dream Les Paul guitar and selling it to me at a super price!!! He is a great guy.
Japanese LP copies were a huge hit in the early 80's. 🤘🏻
Oh yeah, for sure! They're better than anything Gibson was making at the time except for the Heritage 80 as well.
Ibanez 59er was the best guitar I ever played
I have a 75 Ibanez custom. I changed the tuners and pickups. It's amost 49 years old, it plays like a dream. The binding is flawless and tight. Everything is solid. It's not as good as my gibson. This thing sounds unreal! Some of those MIJ guitars are just to die for. I'd love to get my hands on one.
Thanks John! If you hunt they can be had for about $500 or $600. They're really the last of the affordable vintage guitars.
I got a 1980 Greco EGF850 Super Real. The thing is unreal !
I bought one just like that in Japan back in 1983. Regretfully, I sold it and a Tobacco Sunburst Standard to fund a pointy guitar in the late 80's. The Custom does not have a maple cap though. This one is heavy but still a little lighter than my 76 custom. That one could keep the QE2 in place.
I believe the last few years of japan production they had the headstock inlay they have now. I have one :D
I just saw one the other day as well. Sweet!
Nick in the States awesome video btw. New subscriber!

Congrats bro 4K!!
Thanks Andy!
Nice series of vids Nick, rock on bruv!
You too Clive!
as a bonus - the heads don't snap off so easily like gibsons
beautiful burny,i want one so badly(or an orville, greco, edwards, tokai)
i owned a 69 les paul for 20 years, loved it but it had the nasty breaking
headstock issue which sucked.
Since the RLCs lack the volute introduced 1968 (which didn't help much either), they are just as prone to lose their heads as any other old LP.
That Burny sure is a black beauty. I like Japanuary :D
hehe glad you're enjoying it Dale!
Awesome!! Great Sound!! I love it!!! Greetings from Uruguay 👍

Hey Lenny! I don't know of any if All in One guitars in Los Angeles won't ship.
Lenny Henry I have been looking for the Wolf Rickenbacker. I think the Rickenbacker lawyers paid them a visit.
Those lawyers play tuff with are scary.
Can you link please to where you purchased it? Nice videos, keep it up!
These are pretty easy to find in Sweden actually, tried some of them and they seem good. Most of the ones I've tried are a bit too banged up though, some big chunks missing that I just didn't like.
No kidding! I agree that most of the ones that leave Japan have some wear and tear on them. I think they like to keep the clean ones for themselves!
I just subscribed and i love japanese guitars!
Welcome aboard Kevin! Me too!
The IAY TURSER Guitars are one the the most underrated Guitars on the planet...craftsmanship is fantastic..
A sweet soundning axe there Nick!
Thanks guys (I never know if this is Jonas or Jesper)! BTW the tele should be here on Monday!!!
AWESOME!!! I can´t wait :)
Sweet? You gotta be kidding me.
Between this one and a Tokai/greco top model, which one do you prefer?
I have a couple of modern Burny SG's.... i believe they are still actually made in Japan but assembled in China... either way i dont really care as the ones i have are flawless...its not very often these days that i feel compelled to buy the same thing twice... i have no problem doing that with Burny, if i want a new guitar they are the first company i look at.
A man after my own heart! I own doubles or have backups for most of my guitars... and I don't even gig! It's always good to have a stunt double.
I just scored me an '89 Burny SG Custom with Ebony board, lightning bolt logo.
Dude, congrats!!!
Nick in the States thanks man! I love it, swapping the pups though to some Duncans.
What are Ibanez 1975-76? 2650 black beauty with correct diamond headstock and OHSC Worth?
Thanks for this channel, Nick! I was in Tokyo a couple of years ago and had fun going through the guitar stores, looking for a Holy Grail black Les Paul Custom to sneak back with me, but came home empty handed. Have one from 84. Upgrade with Wolfetone dr .Vintage pickups and it´s a beast. Great guitar.
Nice guitar
That's a nice one.
But... when is the Norlin era Custom video going up? You promised! Gimme gimme :)
It's coming!!! Sorry, some unexpected calamities (recorded 6 videos one day only to discover the the mic crapped out every 25 seconds) have caused a delay in its recording. SOON! It will definitely be up before the end of Japanuary.
Hooray!
I would really like to know what the new ones are like Nick.
Nice vid, thanks! Is this guitar poly or nitro?
I believe this one is poly but it doesn't feel plasticky.
That's right, I forgot about that! Duff McKagen of GnR and Velvet Revolver played one when he's not playing bass as well.
@@NickintheStates Duff plays one influenced by Steve Jones when they toured together
Summer vacation took hold and time just got away from me... but I'm back!
Nick in the States Good stuff. Glad you & family had a good, Northern Hemisphere, summer. I saw the photos and you're a lucky man - you look like you've got a great family & (apart from guitars of course - jesting) that's what it's all about. Good stuff !!
So ukini55 is ok...is it relyable?i ll check it out nick;)
Very reliable. Each time great communication and shipped immediately. Yuma (Ookini55 proprietor) seems like a very honest guy. And you can't go wrong having 50 plus pictures from every angle.
If he has a orville double neck I ll see
I haven't seen one of those in a while. They are usually pretty damn expensive too!
But they re not as expensive as the Gibsons
Is that a Peavey Transtube series amp beside the Gibson M2?
Yup! It's a Redstripe era Bandit 112. Killer little amp.
Nick in the States coincidentally, I own the pointy logo version of that amp. Great amp for what I paid for it
Exactly... and it's very transparent tone wise. I was using my Mesa Blue Angel for my demo amp but that makes EVERYTHING sound good... and also sound sort of similar. Great if gigging but not as good for videos.
Can you please link to the seller of the guitar? Thanks for sharing!
It seems like all reviews on these guitars people rave but they sound like a $200 les Paul. Usually do saturation with distortion that it could be any cheap guitar. Wanna hear a great les Paul copy demo...look up Eastman sb59
Here you go: ruclips.net/video/csI4PTZZE2U/видео.html
Awesome Les Paul guitar! =)
Thanks Vigi!
you tried any Shimamura History guitars yet?
They are easy to buy in Europe new and secondhand as we dont have to worry so much about Gibson lawsuits.
Looked for ukini55 or ukeeni55, etc. No luck. Any ideas?
Wasn't there only one company threatened with a lawsuit by Gibson...Ibanez?
Tasty guitar!
Jack
Very true! It was because Ibanez was the only one with the gumption to try and export to the states. But the rest of the guitars from this era are usually referred to as lawsuit guitars or lawsuit era guitars.
Sad news Nick in the States...I thought my life long curse of being 100% correct was finally over....the pain, oh the pain!
I'm right 100% of the time. I thought I was wrong once but I was mistaken.
What's the weight of that guitar?
My scale has died (I should probably take that personally) but I'm going to estimate 10.5 to 11 pounds.
It varies, early to mid 80s are rather below 10lbs (mine is 8.6lbs), generally the higher grade MIJ LP clones tend to be (much) lighter than their contemporary Gibby counterparts, often in the range of their vintage originals.
Nice axe dude.
Thanks man! Your bar looks to be coming together quite nicely! I have to catch up on the videos.
Nick in the States its ready to go! kegorator next ...
That's awesome!
is this better than 2005 gibson studio lp?
I looked Ebay over and never found the seller you mentioned OKINI 55?
Just look under Burny guitar... He has stuff on there right now.
Hi, may i know if your burny custom has a serial number on the headstock?
RLCs don't have serial numbers. If they do they are Korea/China made.
Gerd Pfeil thanks for the reply. Just got an RLC exactly like yours. Great axe!
@@gerdpfeil Actually not true. I have a MIJ LPC like this. The serial number is under the neck pickup.
@@roberthartley6629 Does it also have a screw in the tenon under the neck pickup and does that number start with "15"??
Hi @@gerdpfeil the serial is under the bridge pickup. My actual guitar is here. I bought it form CC in Glasgow. You can see in one of the pictures the serial number.

I bought it in the shop for £560 so I consider it a bargain. :-)
Fenandez didn't make any of their guitars.
Check the 1988-1992 catalogs
I picked up a pre-owned Burny LPC on CL. It was advertised as MIJ and I didn't do my HW. It's a really nice guitar but I paid a MIJ price for a MIC Burny ... which means I pretty much overpaid by double.
seems like a really nice (spot on ) clone...pretty. ..crisp...ALRIGHT this is a stick up. ...gimmie that guitar...mail to. ..
LOLOLOL
I live in japan and am omw to hunt now, play a melody of luck for me :)
Could you please share the link to the ebay seller please?
What were the import duties and tax? AND... for all those asking who the seller is... I had to search through this thread to find Nick telling someone... Ookini55 is the seller. Did a search on ebay (advanced>by seller>check box>enter seller ID)... Easy Peasy!!! :)
these are full mahogany body with macassar ebony board. cheers
The catalogs specify the RLC fretboards as RW.
Where can I buy a burny that's not eBay
I see these with Floyd Roses.. are they legit? when did they stop making them?
a real beauty !!! But How many guitars is enuf ????? The real question is how many guitars would I own if I were single and ........... where would I be living ??? In a apt with 22 guitars , 7 amps and my dog ..... oh ,,, and a van to get to the gigs .... alone
LOL. I have no idea what is enough... which is why I keep borrowing guitars lately. The barn is full!
I fuckin want one!
I have this guitar! 1980's Burny RLC60 with a set of ReWind Low Output PAF's! The guitar has been refretted with taller frets and all hardware/electronics have been upgraded... I absolutely love this guitar now! Playability and tonally. Check out the tone below!

Rocking man! That's awesome. Great video too! They're just killer guitars and a steal even with the prices inching up.
Nick in the States Thanks Nick! Yeah definitely!
I seen a few on eBay that are made on China but have a made in Japan sticker on them be careful.
Just look for the Gibson style 2 piece truss rod cover
The 80s models have slight wings on them and the newer Chinese made are the wide 3 screw
Do you mean a 2 screw truss rod cover???
the edge lining looks greenish....
Pity the inlays on the neck look too plastic. the rest of it looks great!
They do look a bit flat, don't they?
Gibson uses plastic on most of their inlays, too.
Okay, I like gibson ,and ,Epiphone les paul.
nice nice
Fernaders RLC 85s is. a he'll of a guitar...grab one and do a video on it
Played couple Gibson LP Studio
Got a chinese Burny LP Custom for $100
Honestly i prefer my burny
AKA Michael Amott early AE guitar...
Is the amp a peavey bandit 112?
It's all mahogany, no maple cap.
I looked for ukini55 on eBay but couldn't find them. Can you please share their username?
I had a lawsuit Japan telecaster named Dixon in the early 80s and I've never ever seen another. If you or anyone has please let me know. I might've traded away a high priced guitar
I haven't seen a Dixon before but there were a lot of random named guitars that came out of the factories over there.
that is so sweet
They made some awesome guitars in the 70's. 80's an 90's that are still pretty good deals today.
Wadenkrang Guttenberg m
Only Ibanez had a rip off modell and almost get sued in court for it. Burny, Greco etc where a bit smarter and made the replicas a 95% knock off :)
I'm Jesse and I have a question abit the guitar. ...ASPeN Electric guitar can u help me out _,"*'man to chilled kitten lol
They're unmarked gotoh tuners& the new Chinese ones are as good as the mij
ebay drop shippers ?
6:34 hehehe
Nick please give me the buyers name on eBay, I heard you say the name please send to me. Thank you.
More like $800 to $1200+. People are hip to how good these are, and how overpriced Gibsons are.
Its all mahogany.
The Dyna era (1987-1990) lightning bolt models like in the video are more often than not (if not always) having a maple cap.
Pickups sound thin and cheap. It's even worse with overdrive. Yikes.
I'm from England.. shit this guy talks fast really struggle at times to know what he is saying
