- xTool's software, XCS, has evolved so much over the past few months. With the 2.0 release, we now have the ability to use our phones to take pictures of the laser bed and use them to accurately place designs onto materials on the bed!

which version of XCS is that? I installed the latest 2.0 version and it doesn't have this option. is it perhaps dependent on the linked machine?
It might be! This is definitely v2.0 of XCS.

Hi! I’m running into the issue where it seems calibrated, or so you think. The 4 dots line up with the crosshairs on the screen (laser position on screen) however any object I have in the bed will not be scaled properly. I tested it out and anything that isn’t flat appears to bulge in the middle of the picture as if it were doing a fisheye lens causing my designs to be off by mm on one side but not the other or vice versa.
Have you had this happen to you or know a workaround?
I have not! Make sure it’s not set up to use a curved surface?
Yes’m, I’ve checked and unfortunately nothing changes. I submitted a ticket with xTool but waiting on a response
Ugh mine says it sent to my computer but it never shows up and i cant figure it out for the life of me
Check in XCS to see if you have the background toggled off maybe?
