moved my syngonium strawberry cream into leca months ago and it's thriving! first month in leca was rough, lost some leaves and there was rot but I blame myself for not cleaning the dirt off the roots thoroughly enough. luckily it survived and adjusted really well and now it pops out new bright pink leaves all the time
I have two Albo Syngonium in Leca. Both have put out 1 leaf since being in Leca. One didn’t unfurl and the other just turned yellow. One is in a grow tent with lights. The other was in a covered south facing window. The Mojito in the grow tent with San conditions has put out 2 beautiful leaves. And the roots look fantastic
Yes Syngonium loves leca I just made the mistake of moving mine to soil and they all seem to be going downhill so I will be moving these back in to leca as well.
Yeah it's weird because at the time a year ago, no one wanted that plant and I saw them everywhere. Now more people want it but now they're harder to find 😂 Plant trends are so interesting. I hope you can find one soon! ❤
Hi, love your videos. I have a syngonium albo in leca as well. I notice the leaves are getting light. The green leaves looks like it's getting lighter. Any suggestions?
Hmm I've experienced this with mine if it gets too much of direct light from a grow light, or when the new growth is pulling nutrients from the old growth. It could overall be a root health or lack of nutrients in general maybe
I just took my syngonium albo out of the nursery soil today! I put it in water to give it a couple days before I put in leca. Did you do this or place straight into leca?
Hey! You can do either! I've done both. Sometimes I put it in water if I think the plant could use an extra boost of hydration. But I tend to just throw them into LECA + 1/3 strength my nutrient solution. But you can just put it in water + LECA.

HakunaLaPlanta 😮! Hopefully Wendi and her samplings thrive! I trust you and your green thumbs 😍
Do you have to water with special nutrient water to keep the leaves bright?
