Hey guys if you start noticing garmin losing some roads or info don’t update through the garmin plug into computer and use garmin express! This way will fix issues and works for me same unit
One of the many things we love about the RV community, we learn a lot from each other! Great video with some very useful items, MJ and Izzy, thank you for this!
When the filters are full they reduce the water pressure. I have the same unit and when full it reduced the pressure below what the tankless water heater needed. Carry spares.
One deficiency I discovered with the Garmin GPS is it doesn't track your RV's width (nor does RV Trip Wizard). We were planning a route through Baltimore and the Garmin and RV Trip Wizard both routed us through the tunnel on 895 but they have an 8' width restriction and our RV is 8' 6" wide. We likely wouldn't have had any issues driving through the tunnel but I am glad our RV's built-in GPS caught it. I still love the Garmin and use it on every travel day but this shows you need to use multiple route planners if you want to be safe.
Both of my boys and there spouses each have 2 beagles and have the raised dog beds. The beds also have a cover over them for shade. The dogs LOVE EM. Fiber glass rods like a tent. Pack up similarly and open without zipping. I believe they were each 30 dollars. My 6 foot 6 230 son has sat on it. Great video. Have a good day.
I grew weary messing with RV Life Trip Wizard navigation freezing, unresponsive, sometimes working without a cell connection but most times it doesn't. I tried a Garmin 795 this year. It just works, no messing with it, no restarting, no signing in. Also found that RV Trip Wizard will not give you a warning of an upcoming low clearance other than the common "make U turn" that you always get. You would think a flashing red screen with low clearance warning would be ideal. Still love Trip Wizard for doing research and planning, just not navigation.
Great video Izzy and MJ! I always love videos like this. Love all your items too! It’s always hard to pick which I like most. I love them all. Love that dog bed though. I couldn’t help myself with that one. Lol! I would get that for my dog. Thank you Izzy and MJ for this video!
Latest purchase was a 2024 Alliance Avenue All-Access 29RL fifth wheel. An upgrade from my 2017 Heartland Wilderness travel trailer which was a great starter camper.
Thanks Izzy and MJ !! We have a few of these items. We have the Garmin 895 which works great. The Starlink does work great in clear and partially blocked sky views, but not so good under a canopy😁😁
I could take a nap on the elevated doggy bed!😁 As for garmin. I bought the garmin 785. On a scale of 1 to 10 I gave it a 4. I’m tech savvy but found faults with it. So I mashed it with a hammer and pitched it in the trash after 6 months continuous use. I use maps on my phone and a truckers atlas, as I trucked for 39 years till 3 years ago. I know where I’m going.
@ To a trickle or is the pressure still reasonable? We were just at a state park last week and sometimes just the carbon filter is enough to lower the pressure to seemingly absurd levels. Love you guys! PS- How about that CA diesel ban??? 😱😱

added solar panels to run frig on travel day
Shade Pro's RV Awning "Vista Shade" is the best add I did for our motorhome.
Thank you for that tip. I will double check that now.

You reached out to them to ask?

I used to do water testing for a water treatment company. I’d use a 3-stage filter or reverse osmosis.
Curious if you have recommendations on filters for rvs that can remove fluoride? TIA. I've been researching but haven't yet found one, oddly enough.
Awesome #STUFF, We have been thinking about a number of the items you talked about. Love it! Thanks for sharing and safe travels!

We got the Stack Pads and love them. Bought six but will get six more in time. I like the handle so it’s easier to grab it from under the motorhome.
Not you can get a discount
Thanks guys

Love the water filter. Added to my list!
Nice new hat. 👍
We recently purchased the Onnais RV wireless door lock with remote key fobs.
Looking into the water filter options this week.
Make sure those wireless fobs use "rolling codes". The older cheaper ones that always use the same code are too easy to beat.

Agree on the Starlink
❤ Another great video!! When y’all move up to that DP # more stuff LOL
the 0.2 micron filter removes bacteria and helps with viruses.
Love all the #stuff. As you know, we carry way too much #stuff !! Not much I don't have at the ready, LOL. !!
Never enough #stuff!!! 😂

Hey Izzy does that inline filter reduce the pressure at your faucets?
Yes

Can you explain what the "upside down pineapple" means at some sites in some campgrounds?
@JohnDKing It means they are swingers. Looking for other swinging couples to play with.
