If i was Lego, i would just make expansion sets, the second side of the office accounting to jims office and then the third could be the kitchen/ storage closet, annex and break room... You could just bring in the other minifigures that didnt make it the first go around.... Erin, Andy, holly, Wallace, roy and jan for the 1st expansion... and sabre peeps for the annex kitchen and break room set
This is amazing! Really fixes my biggest problem w/ the set and it looks great to boot! Those extra areas absolutely should've been part of the official set and it's so awesome to see it fully realized here
As the result of a filled backorder, after finding a set on the self, I wound up with 2 The Office sets. And your video inspired me to expend, as well. However, I went a different route. Using the Lego Digital Designer, I maped out a layout to build out Accounting, Creed and Meredith's Desks, and Jim/Darrell's office. as well as expand the conference room. And because my layout is slightly more condensed, I will wind up with many more gray floor plates (where in theory I can expend to include the kitchen and Toby and Kelly's back office space. But that would require more lego). As oppose to attaching my expansions to the base plates of the original model, I am going to use 4- 1x2 swivel top hinge brick sets, so the 2 expanded sections can open up from the original base model. and to compensate for the white wall brick shortage you discovered, my build doesn't expand to the behind Stanley's desk wall; the door that leads to the kitchen behind him, would be part of the additional build, I mentioned before. I am also going to use the green sand bricks (used for Michael's office) to fill out the walls of Jim/Darrell's office, on my addition build. If my math is right, I might even wind up with some extra white bricks in the end. So with the exception of the swivel top hinge bricks, I will be sourcing completely from that second set. (Note: These Idea Lego sets have brought me back into Lego. I was a Lego kid of the 70's and early 80's. Then briefly revisited with my son, in the in the early aughts, with Lego Star Wars builds. But now my interest has been peaked again, as of late.) Thank you for your video, that inspired me to think "Maybe I won't return that extra set. And maybe I can figure out a way to make even better use of that 2nd set, to fill out the office." Cheers!
Is your lego digital designer like a tutorial? I enjoy building sets but I struggle with any creative building and I'm such a huge office fan. My set sits on my desk and I helped a coworker in a time of need and they remembered me talking about expanding my set with 2nd set and they bought me a second set. But this video isn't enough for me to accomplish what you he has and you will. Are you able to share your design if it would help me build? If not, maybe the same coworker will consider helping design instead of doing a puzzle in their free time.
You did an incredible job, as soon as I really studied the set I asked myself what were the chances of someone having done exactly what you did. LEGO would be wise to issue these expansions themselves with the proper bricks, new jokes, and more characters (Jan, Holly, Roy, Hank, the list goes on!)
this is fantastic! although am i crazy in thinking that theres another kind of entrance between the end of the conference room and the door to the kitchen bit? like in the episode where dwight is reselling those dolls, a guy walks into the office through an entrance there while theyre having the intervention with meredith
Continue building my friend, looks great! If you purchased a 3rd set maybe you can create the kitchen / bathrooms and swap-out those color bricks for white ones on the wall.
If you’re able I say grab another set and keep expanding. You can fill out the spaces you mentioned you could t and with the creativity you have I’m sure you could bud a store room with Easter eggs in it for the miscellaneous door
Thanks for sharing this great idea! For the wall behind Kevin, is it possible to just push the cabinets into the wall (be part of the wall) then you don't need to use those non-white bricks? That way it creates more space behind Kevin.
Think leaving dares office and the wall besides Stanley out might have looked better so you could photograph serene scenes might also look cool.. Great Build
I really wish you wouldn't stick to the "build out of 2 sets" thing and just build your expansion with just bricks from wherever, cause your initial idea looks extremely promising.
Darryl’s office is out of place because the set is during Andy’s stint in anger management, hence the hole in the wall and why there’s a desk for him but no figure.
That door next to accounting is just a closet. If you move over that trough with the extra picture elements, that could be the closets storage for all those things. And Darryl for his office, put in the take out menu tile. He has that also from his office in the warehouse.
Hey man this is absolutely awesome any chance you could give us a tutorial on how to add these things in as I would absolutely love that extension also is it just using another set of it? Thanks
Hey love how this turned out, we need the kitchen and the annex next!
I mean, do we REALLY need the Annex?

Nice expansion. Would love to see more expansion doing the back areas, and possibly a few more of the characters from the show
This is great! I did basically the exact opposite of this, where I made the kitchen and the annex area
Now we know what can be accomplished if you buy THREE… 😂
Can we see it somewhere?
@@MiniSuperHeroesToday I have four. Built a complete kitchen and annex lol and all of this
@@s.sterling6685do you have any way you can show me? would love to do this myself!!
I'd love to have seen what you accomplished as well as I will be buying a set and would love to expand it.
Looks awesome! You should change out the picture above Angela’s desk to the baby’s playing jazz music 😀
This is amazing! Is there any instruction to build this? I need it! 😳
Man I really needed this
Great work. Time to expand more!!!
If anyone wants to add Andy you can use the legs from Kelly, the torso and head from Ryan, and the hair from Michael. Works pretty well!
Angela’s wall art should be the babies dressed like musicians.
this is great, it really feels like a deluxe version of the set
Love the container for the accessories. Great idea
Great job! Looks like I'm buying a second set.
I’m just starting my expansion. Thanks for ideas. 👍🏻
Hopefully Lego will release another set to build on!

Neat idea, if i was going to do this i would just keep it 3 walled and keep the “4th wall” opened up, just my preference
you should do the kitchen, Ryan’s closet, the annex and the break room too!
Looks great, might have to do this to mine. Thanks for making this video!

You sir are a hero,Thanks for sharing this
the only thing i would have done is maybe put the storage area for the posters right at the door near accounting. make it a little closet.
You should buy a 3rd set and or 4th and keep on expanding
Well done
What's next that Lego Ideas should make? Parks and Recreation? Young Sheldon? Bob ❤ Abishola? Law and Order? Criminal Minds?

Do the Bay and Bathroom next.
looks great
Had the same idea and this definitely helps me out!
Great update minisuperherotoday Great Lego showcase improved @
Could you fo it without buying a second copy cause im kinda broke right now
so youre saying we need a 3rd for the kitchen and HR/customer service/Ryan
In a perfect world, creed would have three chairs
love to watch
Instead of the picture behind Angela you could put her baby poster right there.
Think leaving dares office and the wall besides Stanley out might have looked better so you could photograph serene scenes might also look cool.. Great Build
You should try to make other mini figs from the extra mini figs like Andy using Toby torso or Erin using parts from Pam and Kelly
I already made the “missing” minifigs in another video :)
i made a version too but rebrickable took it down along with all my other builds
Amazing!
I'd love to do this as well. But what if an official extension set comes out?
You also forgot the corner hallway door in the back near the fire bin.
Omg I NEED to do this

You bring great credit upon your bloodline.
You should do an Arkham knight custom figure video. Would be sick

No offense but isn’t Ryan’s desk opposite from creed and merideth has her own desk clump?

Hey I love the videos, would u be able to make a custom set or figures from Brooklyn nine nine because season 8 is coming out soon.
give angela the chat room monitor
Are there enough pieces complete Michaels office again still or not?
Where did you find the 3D layout?
Good stuff homie
Do you have instructions for it
What is in creeds hand in the minifig? What's it supposed to be???
Mung beans that he sprouts in his desk drawer
Hey man this is absolutely awesome any chance you could give us a tutorial on how to add these things in as I would absolutely love that extension also is it just using another set of it?

Wow this looks amazing I would appreciate if you heart this post
so i only have to buy two lego sets to have one nearly complete office..... wow what a good offer... ridiculouse.....
looks good but if they did that most people could not afford it so
buy two more and finish the set lol
